One thing I love about this panel in Mad Love is that this woman helping Harley looks a little familiar, right? Without a face visible she’s awfully similar to how Harley looks in her flashback as Harleen Quinzel. Intentional or not, it looks like the ghost of who Harley once was, before her descent into mental illness and abuse, is cradling her through the fallout of her bad choices and pain inflicted by a man who she thought would always care for her.
