sure, i'm up for it if you are! ^^
if anyone wants to do some shorter kind of rp with deidara, please do ask me. i really want to do some roleplaying that is less than three massive paragraphs, because multi-para really is too much for me right now... my muse might be dying a bit too since deidara isn't really close to anyone and aaah it's hard rping an "outsider" character like him. damn akatsuki
Long haired guys club || Iruka&Deidara
"It’s nice to meet you, Deidara" Iruka smiled at the other man. He seemed nice and it felt good to meet more people who worked at the school since he barely knew anyone there. "What class do you tutor if i may ask?" Iruka heard about several adults tutoring classes before and even about some students but he hadn’t had to chance to meet any of them yet, up until now that is.
Once he felt a little more relaxed around the now not so unfamilair guy sitting near him he allowed himself to enjoy the warmth of the bath again and slid back into the warm water until it reached his chin. "A month? You’re kidding me right? I’ve only been working here for 2 weeks now, i’m basically the newest guy at this school.." he laughed slightly, not wanting to bother the older man in the bathhouse who clearly fell asleep
The older male reached for his hair band and loosened it again as he felt his hair slowly lower, clearly not pulled back tightly enough. He twist the bunch of hair he held together by his hands and made sure it formed a bun nearly enough to keep his hair from getting wet. Right when he put the hair band around his hair again, Deidara mentioned his long hair. "Oh my hair.." he said questioning as he looked over to Deidara and inspected him more intently. "Compared to your hair mines nothing" he laughed. His hair only reached up to a little over his shoulders while Deidara’s seemed to reach to at least his shoulder blades, or maybe even further. He couldn’t tell with his hair tied back like that. "But you’re right, not many men having long hair anymore these days"
"Art." Well, it wasn't like he was the main teacher, which was probably vert obvious to the other. "I help out there when I can and I don't have classes at the university. It's mostly about actually just having a job and earn money like I can pay the rent and food, etc, hmm." Considering the job involved art, he was fine with taking it for now at least, even if the students could be a pure pain in the ass sometimes. Most of them were beyond untalented...
The blonde blinked once, then one more time, before tilting his head a bit. "Just two weeks, really?" Deidara could have sworn he thought he was one of the newest, or maybe that was just his imagination after all not being from Konoha to begin with and all. "You seem like you've been around longer, hmm. But I assume you're from this town, then?" So far the only person he knew who wasn't born and raised here was himself. People from other towns couldn't be common at all.
He took a hold of his hair to look at the length, almost lost in thought while so. "Not many do, all right. I have even been thinking it was better if I cut mine as well." Then people would at least stop mistaking him for the opposite gender. But he still liked long hair, so it was really complicated with conflicted feelings. "Say, have you ever considered cutting your hair shorter?" The question might be sudden, but it fit the topic, and Deidara was curious.
Reblog if you are a very insecure role player.
Imagine Deidara barging into your worst period class to see you looking at him with a shocked but pleased face. He then proceeds to grab you by the arm and drag you out of the classroom, leaving the class stunned to silence.
Okay, so — I'm not dead. Just on a little hiatus for the time being because of some things irl, and my muse is struggling due to my frustration and stress. I hope things will get better by the weekend ~ next week like I can be back, though! I just felt I needed a bit of a break from long roleplay replies (and roleplaying in general) when this hit me. since they don't exactly calm me down either orz

The Art of Failing || Deidara and Tenten
To say that Tenten was horrible at art would be an understatement. In fact, she was probably the worst artist at Konoha. However, in order to graduate, she had to have an art credit. Now, the brunette girl was regretting putting off art for as long as she did. Her entire classroom was filled with underclassmen, which wasn’t necessarily a bad thing, it just meant she felt worse about herself than in any other class she was currently in.
What made this class even worse for her was it was ruining her GPA. If she ever dreamed of making something of herself she had to make it through school first. That meant getting good grades. For Tenten, a C- was not good enough. It didn’t help that she was klutzy as hell and couldn’t stop breaking every little thing that she managed to get into arms distance with, which made the student teacher in the class hate her all the more.
Now, as Tenten made her way to the class, looking for any of her fellow classmates to see if they wanted to go to the art museum with her. It was an extra credit assignment and since every other day ended with her going ‘I DIDN’T MEAN TO, DEIDARA-SENSEI!’ while said TA looked irritated at her. It certainly wasn’t her fault that she tended to drop anything that wasn’t a ball. If she could just get any extra credit opportunity then maybe she could raise any credibility she had left in her.
So, of course, when Tenten peered into the art room, she felt disappointment creep up when she noticed no one else is in the room. Still, she had to see if maybe, just maybe, someone would appear to be hiding where she couldn’t see. “Hello?” She called out, cursing herself for seeming like a cliche protagonist in a cheesy horror flick. “Anyone in here?” Slowly creeping into the room, she noticed that someone was in fact sitting in the back of the room. However, it wasn’t the first person she thought to ask. Yet, desperate times called for desperate measures. “Gomen, Deidara-sensei. I don’t mean to bother you but… would you perhaps like to join me to the new art exhibit. I really do need help understanding the pieces. I-It’s for the extra credit assignment! Maybe I shouldn’t have asked. I’ll just be going now…”
One would have to look far to find a more incapable student in a simple class such as art. Usually when people put some kind of effort into what they did, they ended up with decent enough results that gave passing grades. But then there was the one person that always failed no matter what she did, and that really got on Deidara's nerves. Because he was the one who always ended up having to help her, and in the end he'd just snap with her lack of understanding and ability to even do something right. Everytime he had her class, he knew the day would end with him just glaring at her.
It seemed like all hope was gone for this student at this point.
But no matter how many times she might disappoint him with everything she did in class, he was not allowed to actually give up on her no matter how much he wanted to. Some other teachers had even asked him if he couldn't do something about her grades. As annoying and troublesome as it was, he had no choice but to do as he was told. Deidara decided to just go and sit in the art classroom where students would also come if they had questions about anything, sat down and pulled out some papers he quickly looked through. A list of extra credit assignments for the art class. Tenten wasn't the only one who should do some of these, but she was the one he was told to help. So he could as well help her find something to do about the beyond horrible grade.
Though he didn't get to read through much of the list before a voice caught his attention. The blonde looked up just to see the girl in question standing before him in the middle of the classroom. "The art exhibition?" A bit surprised by the question, he quickly looked back down on the paper again just to notice the same exhibition was listed for the extra credits. "So you finally figured you should do something about that horrible grade of yours? Hmm." He thought for a moment. Maybe if he went with her to this, everything would be over with, she'd get more credit for the class, her grade would go up, and he wouldn't have to be so irritated everytime he was in her class. "Sure," he answered after thinking about it for a moment, "I'll go with you, just to make sure you improve with the extra credit this time. I don't want to be blamed if you end up failing this class, hmm."
Long haired guys club || Iruka&Deidara
Iruka let out a deep relieved sigh as he warm water heat up every inch of his tired body and he sat down. It was fantastic how quiet it was at the hot springs and not even the noise of the women section of the bath seemed to bother him, it made everything seem even more relaxed. The older man who was sitting on the other side of the bath seemed to have dozed off by the heat and the calm and Iruka made a mental note to make sure he kept an eye on the older man.. so he wouldn’t drown or anything. He closed his eyes as well just momentarily, thinking back about everything that happened today. There wasn’t exactly that many things going on that day and he really wondered just what got him to be this tired. Perhaps the reason was that he finally have a private life next to his work and he had things to do when he came home, people to meet up with. He lowered his body into the hot water until it reached just below the scar on his nose.
He opened his eyes again as soon as he heard someone enter the bath house and step inside the water near Iruka. Just to see who it was. When he opened his eyes he didn’t immediately recognize the man sitting before him with his blond blond hair tied back into a large ponytail. He narrowed his eyes a little, trying to remember just who he was when the other man spoke up. Iruka sat up more properly then and wiped the strands of damp hair out of his face. “Ah yes! Umino Iruka, nice to meet you” he said politely, a smile spreading across his lips “You work at the school also right? I recognize you… I don’t remember your name though, i’m sorry” He didn’t expect to actually meet someone from the school here at this time especially because he never ran into anyone here before but Naruto. “I just started at the school so that might be the reason, i still haven’t met anyone” he laughed softly, rubbing the back of his head in embarrassment “This may not be the best way to meet though…or ..it was actually be a very good way”
"Yeah, I work there now and then." It wasn’t exactly a full time job Deidara had, so he wasn’t too surprised Iruka wasn’t really completely aware of who he was or knew his name. He would be more surprised if the man actually knew his name. "My name’s Deidara. I’m more of a TA for just one class, really, hmm."
Even if he was one of the more newer employees at the school, he had been here for a while now. But with just a part-time job he didn’t really end up meeting a lot of the other people working at the school. Some of the more old teachers were still mistaken him for a student and would end up scolding him for why he wasn’t wearing the uniform, etc. And of course none of them ever believed him when he tried to describe the situation until someone came by and "saved" him. To think they weren't even aware of everyone working at the school.
"Well, we’re almost the same then. I’m pretty new too, just started about a month ago." Deidara lowered his body until the water reached up to his chin. Closing his eyes for a moment, he could feel the body relax and the stress slowly but surely disappear with the heat. Without really opening his eyes, his attention went back to Iruka on the other side of the bath. "It’s unusual to see another male among the teachers with long hair, hmm." He didn’t mean it as a bad thing, though. In fact, he was a bit relieved he wasn’t the only one.
umiruka said: Did you watch Eurovision? You’re from Norway right?
Yes I am, but I didn't watch it. I never really liked Eurovision very much, but ever after Alexander Rybak won with Fairytale I've had literally no interest in it whatsoever. To me it's just getting worse every passing year... orz Plus now I think they put up too many shows. It was better before when they only had the finale. But tbh if we also had Graham Norton commenting here I'd watch it just for him because oh god I love him.
replies have been slow and will continue to be for at least this week too probably. i'm sorry for that aaah. work has really just drained all my energy lately and i'm all burned out after writing one reply a day oh god. so i'm sorry if i take a few days to reply you ;; i didn't forget!
and if you want to roleplay with deidara, feel free to message me anytime.
Blown Minded
Everything was going good.
The right music, brush seemed to be on her side for a change. Finishing off the last feather, with one final stroke. Pulling back, a critical gaze scans each edge for any mistakes. Satisfied, the student’s shoulders drop. Closing her eyes, while releasing a long, dreamy, sigh. Windows open, a warm breeze tugs at a few stands of hair.
The crow’s feet were next, such a delicate feature. Blinking at the piece, head tilts. Realizing that the body needed another coat, not enough balance. Taking away from the slight transparent layer, along it’s limbs.
Reaching for another tube of paint, applying some to her palette. Searching for an appropriate brush, while humming to the haunting melody of the next song. "Where.. are theee.. Oh!" Hinata mused. Recalling that the rest of her brushes were near the sink. Pushing off the stool, turning, with a jerk. Heart pounds against her ribs, as the palette flips up into the air. Emitting a squeak; lunging forward, moments before it would have hit the canvas. Relief momentarily, seeing that her assignment was fine. However, the Hyuga was now covered in an array of gray. Shirt, hair, arms, and even her cheek. Rose in hue, scrunching her nose at the mess. Before curiously, looking up at the unfamiliar blond.
He ended up standing there and seeing how her painting turned out to be. She must have been deeply focused since it didn’t seem like she had heard someone open the door and come in. Without really realizing it, the blonde was slowly starting to take delicate steps into the classroom, his legs just wanting him to put the materials where they were supposed to be instead of idly standing there and watching someone paint.
Though Deidara didn’t get far before things seemed like they were starting to get a bit more chaotic. His eyes blinked at the sight of the girl right before she looked up at him, and he felt something in his throat. Maybe he just shouldn’t have gone inside without giving off some kind of signal to her. He swallowed dry, chuckling sort of awkwardly as he continued walking towards where the materials were supposed to be. "Ah— Sorry if I’m intruding, I just need to put these things in place."
Putting some of the things on the teacher’s desk and the rest in the cabinets, he let out a slightly relieved sigh as he could finally actually think about going home. But Deidara looked back at the girl first when he turned around again. "Are you okay?" he asked, feeling sort of awkwardly as this was not the kind of situation he was used to walking into.
Imagine Deidara taking you out on a ride on his clay bird, and he purposely tries to scare you at the end when he suddenly dives down and laughs when you cling to him.

Long haired guys club || Iruka&Deidara
It had been an incredibly tiring day at work and Iruka felt absolutely exhausted when he finally came home. He opened the front door and dragged himself inside, shuffling over to the living room before dropping his limb body on the couch. Not only did he have several appointments that day with a couple of not all too easy students he also promised he would train the girls soccer team after school was over. A deep sigh escaped his lips as ge gazed over to the simple clock on the wall above his television. It was only 7.30 pm and Iruka still had the entire evening to himself. Naruto wasn’t home again that evening, either at his own place or at a friends, and so there was no real reason for him to stay home.
After taking about 10 minutes to drag himself off the couch he picked up his coat from the floor together with his shoes and left his house. He knew there was only one way he could relax after such a long day and that was to take a long, hot, steamy bath. Iruka loved going to the hot springs and felt a little guilty about not going there for the last week. He really did want to go there more often, every night if he could, but work kept him from doing so and beside that he had company over more often than he had before he got the job at the high school. Arriving at the bath house Iruka greeted the young lady at the desk and she returned it with a smile and a happy sounding “Iruka Hi!”. iruka stayed at the desk only briefly to ask how she was doing and how business way before heading inside. The hot spring owners knowing his name proofed just how often Iruka came there to blow off some steam. He noticed the bathhouse was very quiet today and most of the noise came from the female section, the male section was fairly empty with only one older man already sitting on the other side of the large bath. Iruka quickly got himself undressed, tied his hair back in a bun and got ready before lowering himself in the hot water, letting out a deep sigh of relief. He absolutely deserved this bath.
When finally getting home, Deidara dropped his bag onto the floor after closing the door behind him. He was exhausted, even if the day hadn't really been what someone would consider bad. University class in the morning, then working at the high school and helping out the different art classes. Though after the last class, one of the students had asked for his help, and that did take longer than he'd prefer it did. But sadly it was his job to help, so he couldn't turn the student down even if he wanted to. And then he had to stay behind and do some paperwork which also did take longer than he'd prefer.
But now — finally — he was home.
Deidara dragged his legs with him into the apartment and fell down onto the couch. Even if he was done with work, he still had work he needed to do for university that kept stressing him in the back of his head. Assignments and sketches for a project he also had to make. He groaned, pulling out his phone from his pocket to look at the clock. The will to start on any of that now was nonexistent. What he needed now was something that'd help him relax, because the blonde felt like his body was just going to explode any moment now.
Then he remembered the hot springs not far from where he lived. People always talked about how going to the hot springs will relax your body and help you stress down, so maybe a warm bath was exactly what he needed. Deidara wasn't exactly the biggest fan of hot springs and didn't really go to many even back in his hometown. But right now a hot bath really sounded much more tempting than spending the rest of the night writing an assignment for university, or starting those sketches. He got up from the couch and started finding the things he needed to take with him before leaving the apartment not long after.
It took him about 10 minutes before Deidara arrived with the hot springs. He walked in and greeted the girl at the desk before continuing into the men's section of the bath. The area was pretty quiet, and from the looks of the used shelves there weren't many people visiting at the moment either. He was pretty happy for that, since less people meant less chaos. After undressing, tying the towel around his waist and his hair up into a ponytail, the blonde walked into the bath. Only two men were there, and they didn't really say a word, in complete contrast to the voices he could hear from the other side of the wall. He got into the water and let out a relieved sigh. It sure felt nice and he could feel his body started feeling better already.
Leaning down so much the water even covered his mouth, his gaze went around in the bath and stopped at a man sitting on the other side of the bath from him. He sure looked familiar, almost like Deidara had seen him somewhere before. — But he had. The blonde sat up properly, "You're Iruka, aren't you? The counselor."
