Occasionally I think to myself “maybe idve been more effortful in trying to be cool if I were able bodied” but then I see tiktoks of people with very similar mobility aids and whatnot doing things with their bodies that are really cool and I realize that no no, the dorkness would’ve been inside of me either way. I am not of the constitution to do the almost-all-the-way-back and constant wheelie. My notion of a wheelie begins and ends with me getting over a slight bump in sidewalk. I would’ve whined having to walk unassisted up a hill with the same volume and annoyance as I whine having to wheel uphill. Is it just me or are all the posts on here about being a femme housewife who has not to suffer the working world because their working butch husband takes care of it deeply telling and not in a good way?
