So, after reading the last chapter of Hananoi-kun to koi no yamai, I just couldn't resist working on this panel. First I traced the original panel and then coloured it. I winged the colours :D

Yes, I love them.

And here we are, with my favourite manga couple. I love the pair of them. Let me introduce you to my favorite shoujo manga: hananoi-kun to koi no yamai.

Shoujo manga lines are so much harder to trace, they are so delicate. But I tried my best!!

Some more opm panels I traced. I hadn't posted them yet, so here you go. I didn't add the shadows to them because I just really love all the line art in opm. It's incredible. You don't know how long I sat on these, drawing every single line bit by bit.

I think this is my best try yet. Loved to trace and colour this.

a little update on my progress:

I have been working on a few opm panels as well as some shoujo manga panels which I thought were cute. I’m looking on some other cool manga panels to trace but haven’t found anything that speaks to me yet

anyway, I’m not sure if tracing manga panels and sharing it is okay or if i shouldn’t do it, which is why I haven’t shared anything I worked on lately. I just kinda assumed since it’s official manga panels that it would be okay but honestly, I don’t know...

i just traced an aot manga panel and the result is so satisfying, I’m actually super happy.

Cause every game needs a winner and Bakugou ain't about to show mercy to no one even if Deku tries to cheat

I took the official bnha mobile game art for bakugou and eri, traced it, colored it, borrowed Tincampy from d.gray-man to trace for the Deku snitch, added his hair and lastly took the background from the scene where Bakugou slipped as a kid and edited it into this.

Let me share how this came to be!

So I started out with those two images from the mobile game, which landed me here:

Then I realised, they don't actually look like they are reaching each other. So i had to fill the gap between them and find something both would want to grab, which lead me down the Deku chibi route. But I couldn't find any Deku chibis, so I went with the next best thing. A Deku furrbal.

That's how I ended up thinking of a snitch, which always reminded me of Tincampy from D.gray-man. So I looked for an image and voila:

Isn't he just adorable. But I had to add something Deku, so I went in search for Images of Deku's hair from behind and let me tell you, that was harder than I thought it would be. But I found some images to use:

I used the left panel for the bottom half of his hair and the right one for the top. Which looked surprisingly nice:

Notice his adorable legs sticking out of the hair? No?

But after I coloured it all, loyal to the original images, it still looked empty.

That's when I looked for a background. I tried different ones but i like this one the best:

I took it, multiplied it, layered it on top of each other and blended it. The end result looked surprisingly good!

But Deku-campy was still missing something! So I went out to look for what I could still add, realised he has a quirk and boom, another image gave me the little sparks for his quirk.

Sadly I can't add more images, but the end result is at the very top, so this is where I will end my recap.

It's honestly a coincidence that Deku looks like he's leaning into Eri more but it makes for a good story :D
