it may not seem like it at first glance, but jay is naturally a very affectionate and tactile guy, so i'd say he's a skinship guy in general, but if i were to single out one thing, i'd call it the concept of always touching. like wherever you are, he always wants to have contact. if it's just the two of you lying at home it's constant hugs and kisses, if it's outside it's always holding hands or him putting his arm around your shoulder (+constant caressing, stroking back and all that), if it's a more formal situation where none of that is appropriate he'd like to at least have your hands lying next to each other touching with the back of hand and occasionally intertwining little fingers. it doesn't matter how, what matters is that you touch each other

like okay, it really comes from the culture we find ourselves in where, from childhood, we are told things like “oh this boy is picking on you because he likes you.” wtf maybe we can start teaching men to show their feelings normally, and not women to put up with such an attitude towards themselves?

and yes, big of this part culture grows out from porn and almost all porn is made for men. tbh i almost don’t watch porn and usually only read it hear cause it literally doesn’t look turn on from women side, like it’s really hard to find something where the focus would be on female pleasure. almost everywhere the focus is on the man and even loud moans and sighs sound very artificial in order to please men’s self-esteem. BUT most of the writers here are women and to see how women write about how rape can be a cool experience really surprises me (i want to emphasize once again that this isn’t an attempt to hate those authors, i’m just really fucking surprised)

and i really just can’t understand how anyone can like this? the conclusion i came to: people like this in ff because (apart from women's difficult lives in general, traumas and everything said above) firstly, idols are beautiful and people with good looks are easier to romanticize (and even in movies, such boys are always handsome, because even if it is a frankly unattractive person who also insults people around, he would be considered at least strange), secondly, one way or another, most people perceive idols through the prism of a certain image and since they like this image in life (in most cases it is obviously positive), they are ready to accept it in this kind of ff

Some did say they write and read things like those as a coping mechanism for previous trauma or something. Pretty sure irl its not something either readers nor writers enjoy nor condone.

Personally i have fantasy of being 🍇 though in real life I find 🍇 just as horrifying and despicable as the next person. I hate being dominated irl and even hate being touched as well so its really not reflective of myself. I did read up and find that for those like me, psychologically it might boil down to control issue. Id say that the appeal for that type of fanfics is best seen when you assumed the mindset that everything in this work is sexually arousing. like the people who like it most likely not gonna be the same in real life but maybe its nice to pictured around in your head?
