I'm trying something new and a little different to promote my customs. Just like other customizers, I post my auction links through social media, make showcase videos on Youtube, and now I'm going to make digital comic showcases of my work. That's right, I'll be uploading a digital comic format (.cbr .cbz, maybe .pdf too) showcases to Bittorrent and Usenet to spread the word. Here's the cover of the first issue. This is just an experiment to see how it goes. You don't know if you don't try, right? If this catches on, I already have improvements I want to make. And yes, I HAD to go with the iconic 70's Marvel inspired layout!

Straight outta "Age of Ultron" comes my version of the MCU's SCARLET WITCH!  The only Marvel Universe scale Scarlet Witch isn't that good because of the serious lack of articulation, so I wanted to make a Scarlet Witch that could get move just like the figures of her Avengers teammates.  Not satisfied with just doing a figure of her, I just HAD to make hew her an action diorama (that lights up!) that shows her ripping through some Ultron drones! From the pages of Marvel's "What If?  IRON PUNISHER!  One of my favorite alternate takes/character mashups from comics.  Any time I get my hands on a "pointy masked" Iron Man figure, I'll make an Iron Punisher!  I've done them in 3.75 inch scale versions, this one is my first MARVEL LEGENDS version! Sometimes I'll get an idea for a custom figure simply because I'll have a part or body I want to use. Such was the case with the brain of Marvel's TITANIUM MAN, GREMLIN! Jim Lee's Grifter! Remember the WildC.A.T.s?  I've wanted to create a Grifter for quite some time, but could never find the right body/parts to do it with. As soon as I got my hands on the Marvel Universe version of this character, I knew I had to make a classic version of the Marvel character character that can boast crossing over with DOCTOR WHO and THE TRANSFORMERS!  I originally was just going to do a figure, but then I got inspiration to do a diorama for him that represented his biggest moments in comics.  The diorama shows a fallen DECEPTICON SHOCKWAVE!  In the comics Death's Head completely destroyed the normally bad ass Decepticon.  The TARDIS is also featured in this diorama!  When DH encountered the TARDIS, he was giant sized, hence why  the TARDIS is small on this dio.  It all lights up! I'm really proud of being able to do a custom that could appeal to three different fandoms! DAZZLER in her classic look is a character that I have grown to love.  To me during her time of her creation, Marvel seemed almost fearless in creating characters, and had no problem basing characters on the culture of the time.  DAZZLER was SO disco, and think that's cool!  Dazzler is one of those characters that I have always wanted to do over the years, but somehow she'd get bumped in favor of another. I wanted to really bring her to life in style, because of the long wait to do her, so I made her a stage (complete with Disco ball) that lights up! Sometimes I get an idea to do a custom of a character, but I can't decide which one of their looks I should go with. In a rare occasion, I'll do my favorites. One of my favorite costumes from X-Force in the 90's was Sam Guthrie aka CANNONBALL.  However, I've always wanted to do a classic New Mutant custom figure. The end result is this set of figures.  Why Cannonball?  I wanted an excuse to make a huge "blast off" base that lit up, and that's just what I did! One of the most bizarre parts of The Punisher Arcade game is when you face off with this guy, BONEBREAKER, of the REAVERS.  I always thought he had a great visual as a character. C'mon he's half a friggin tank!  While I love the look of the character, I wanted to take some creative liberties with this figure.  I made this guy a hulking beast...and there's a bonus to this guy!  The figure has tank sound effects (that's what the buttons on the side are for) and the gun lights up in sync with the gunfire sound FX! I've always liked the 90's Toy Biz version of the character. When I got my hands on one, I decided to make an updated version of that figure, using those parts.  While I feel like I successfully updated him, I STILL couldn't make him more articulated.  The ham is an original accessory the 90's figure came with. Here’s the second of my FIRST custom amiibo projects!  This set shows the classic NES era characters, R.O.B., Duck Hunt, andMr. Game and Watch in their GREEN color schemes (or in Duck Hunt Dog’s case, as a Dalmatian!)

I made my first foray into customizing amiibo! Finally!  My first project was doing custom versions of the recently released RETRO 3-PACKS!  These two sets are in colors that represent some of the the character’s alternate colors in the SUPER SMASH BROS games!
