"Haru." Tokaku grumbled, waltzing forward with reason. "I've been told to ask you, to play the 'pocky game' with me." She breathed a long sigh, adding a shake of the head. "Lets just get this over with for Haruki's entertainment." She held the offending pocky stick outwards, awaiting confirmation that the 'game' could commence.
"..."
There are about a million questions here concerning the whats and whys of the situation. Â Pocky game? Â Isn't that a little, uh... --And since when has Tokaku ever done these things, 'for Haruki's entertainment', on top of that? ...
But, listen. Â There's no way Haru's going to turn down a request like this, so just forget about all that.
"Haru calls the chocolate end!"
{harukixsagae} â (If you don't mind :D)

peace of mind ⌠haru&tokaku
--It had been a most admirable feat, enough to make one ex-class target grin pridefully as she tiptoed to the kitchen that morning. She'd done what was once thought to be impossible, and that was--slipping past the unconscious eyes of the scary, the terrifying, once heir to the clan of assassins, Azuma of the East...
Hehe. It was fun to think of it like that, as though she'd miraculously slipped past a sleeping lion's den with her life. But it was nothing so silly. Tokaku-san was Tokaku-san.
It was odd to think--not too long ago, Haru would've never imagined that she'd be living with her roommate even after graduation. The apartment was... it was a step down from the dorms at the academy, that was for sure. But now that she had a friend sharing it with her, everything seemed much more comfy.
"... Wonder what kind of syrup Tokaku-san likes on her pancakes," she murmured to herself. With an apron tied over her pajamas, Operation Breakfast was well under way, pan sizzling in the quiet.
Who are you, Takechi-san?! (-harurururu)
"I doubt you really need to ask that, Harucchi. You know who I am and I know who you are." More confused about the question and why they have to do this than anything else.
"You're right... Haru would think that strangers would be better suited for an experiment like this, not us."
Though if it were physical reactions that these mysterious science guys were looking for, she sure hoped they were satisfied with Haru's increased heart rate from being in the same room as a scissor-wielding serial killer extraordinaire.
would demisedays like a room?
"âŠChecking out ,my dear?..Heh heh heh hehâŠLetâs just say there is no real need for that hereâŠ.And I wouldnât open that window thereâŠ.Just a bit of advice in advance."
"And my name is Gregory..Welcome to Gregory House."
"Now if you will excuse meâŠI will be a the front lobby."
"Got it, Mister Gregory! Â Nighty!"
... Now that the mouse had left and closed the door, a wave of unease came over her. Â What did he mean by, there was 'no need' for checking out of the hotel? Â Not only that, but the service was free... Â (No, she was forgetting the most fishy part of all, duh... the hotel owner was a mouse.) Â She glanced around the room, noticing some suspicious stains on the floor.
"Gee. Â It looks like a ghost or a goblin could pop out at any moment..." the girl mused to herself.Â
But... she would stay.  Haru would stay and see to it that there was no justification to her doubts.  Yeah!, she thought, plopping herself on the bed.  No big deal for Ichinose Haru!
SUDDENLY 20 MILLION TENTACLES APPEAR AROUND HARU
Screech.
As many times as Haruâs been targeted by assassins and shady clan members⊠sheâs, well, pretty sure sheâs never seen anything like this in her life.  Was it, like, a⊠a new assassination attempt?  To be fair, there are some pretty shady clans out there, not pointing any fingers at classmates.  She couldnât even see its head, if it had one, so clearly there was no trying to make friends here.
Perhaps Tokaku-san could make swift sushi out of it.
SUDDENLY 20 MILLION TENTACLES APPEAR AROUND A-YA
--This is it. Â All those endless nights of occult stories and horror movies have (not) prepared you for this.
Rest in pieces, A-ya Lastname.
so I just finished watching volume 1 of the gregory horror show thanks to welcometogregoryshouse and I'm laughing but mostly crying at haru being stuck in there in our thread omg
because now that I understand everything,,... she has every frickin reason to be there
her family is all dead because of her
all her classmates are assassins who will get an unlimited reward for killing her
the list goes on, man
NO WONDER SHE'S IN THERE it's a wonder she didn't get there sooner
onto volume 2!!!!!
would demisedays like a room?
Well there were candles in the hallway..They just didnât bring that much light into them.
"You would be surprise how many guests are hereâŠAnd most people donât tend to know. But they always find it."
The old mouse stops at a door in the hallway, quickly unlocking it, and opening it up for his guest.
"And this will be your room."
A lot of guests, huh? Â Seems homey. Â Though--one had to wonder why no one's ever heard of a mouse running a hotel before...
"Thanks, Mister Mousey! Â Ah, what time is checking out? Â Haru wouldn't want to oversleep...!"
The room was fairly small, with a big wooden door, a bed, closet, desk, and... something. Â Haru wasn't sure if it was a window or what... maybe this required some investigation.
