I hate hate hate having to make this post
We recently had our second fire in our apartment due electrical issues our maintenance fails to look into or even show care for. The first time was our breaker in our kitchen catching fire and this time it was an outlet on our shared wall with our neighbor who unfortunately wasn't home to catch it in time causing it to effect us both.
My ESA cats and I were stuck inside the smoke for about 10 minutes until able to get out. With that I was admitted into the hospital with damaged lungs.
Times are VERY hard for everyone right now but if there are people able and wanting to donate I am looking to get both of my cats the vet help they need as well as have assistance with my own bills and health related matters. All of this is especially stressful right now due to not being able to be at work.
It hurts me that lives were in danger due to maintenance negligence. We are building a case against the company for sure and looking for a safer place to live.
If anyone is wanting to donate I also have zelle if there are people uncomfortable with using the apps.
