it's doesn't mean you have to fight if somebody attack you, the way of the samurai is a way of peace trough body and mind control. Maybe some bushido has lost the right way, but there are always black sheep's.

The katanas wasn't the main weapon of the samurai, it was a treasure witch was given from generation to generation. It was used for duels, ceremonies and the seppuku.

For the battlefield the samurai used weapons like the naginata, the kyoketsu shoge or the tetsubo. In times where the samurai couldn't have ther weapons they used tools like the sai, witch was from rice farmers or jitte from the fishers.

Their_Story: Spring

When they met in spring, “she” was the battle-trained daughter of a shamed Samurai who abandoned his master and left his family to their doom. “He” was a wandering outcast whose strange features terrified the people he encountered, and denied him the home he once had. When they met they did not know that they were on the brink of a war that no one could have ever imagined. A war so strange and horrifying that even these two unlikely characters would be accepted by the people who once looked down on them.
