what if keith and lance’s confession scene goes similarly to sokka and suki’s like
keith: yeah i - i know how you feel. there was someone i cared about too, but i just couldn’t figure out how he really felt about me.
lance: oh. that sucks.
keith: yeah. he was smart and brave and funny.
lance, visibly annoyed: who is this guy!? is he taller than me?
keith trying to hide his smile: nah. he’s about your height.

on this 4/20, let’s think about how bob marley has been reduced to a stereotype around weed and “one love” instead of the revolutionary figure he really was. he advocated for revolution and change against a racist political system in jamaica. he was also a staunch anti imperialist, and criticized white imperialism. he didn’t just smoke weed all day and sing catchy songs. i truly hate the liberal cleansing of revolutionary figures because it turns them into a caricature which erases their political stances and beliefs from the public mind completely
if you ever wanna be torn apart by a pack of rabid wolves then just say ‘i’ve never read harry potter’ and watch how many people turn to you frothing at the mouth with the full intent to murder. i was sitting in my uni class and i’m like ‘yah idk what you’re talking about i’ve never read the books’ and three (3) white girls’ heads swivelled on their necks at a full 360 degree rotation like some batshit owl but instead of coming from the hundred acre wood it’s a correctional facility. and they were ready to end me! then and there!!! after a deathly silence with the same constipated congestion and timeframe as a brontë novel i’m like ‘i’ve only seen the movies’ as if i thought that could redeem me, the heretic, the delilah, the Motherfucker ™, in the eyes of my fellow yeomen. and all 3 of them barked at the same time like i had just confessed to shitting on their mother’s greying corpse and depositing her directly into the atlantic instead of, ya know, not reading a bloody book series. so that’s my scarlet letter i guess

slav: alright hunk, please introduce your character!
hunk: okay. i, uh, put a lot of work into this (lance coughs) so i hope you guys enjoy it. my character is a rogue, who had a demon sealed inside him when he was a baby. because of this demon, he was ostracized by the village he lived in, but instead of becoming bitter about it, my rouge decided to rise above it all and become someone his people would have to be proud of. he’s made it a goal to be kind to every person he encounters, and has even befriended his enemies. while it’s true he isn’t the sneakiest of rouges, his heart is in the right place and that’s what ultimately matters. his name is hunkuto.
slav: excellent! now, lance, please-

hunk: no, his name is hunkuto i just said that
