i was literally about to type this exact thing up in a post: to avoid or refuse to refer to it/its users correctly is literally transphobia. to undermine an it/its user's wishes and statements about its own identity is transphobia. to police other people and tell them not to use it/its pronouns because you don't like it is transphobia. to tell an it/its user that you'll use they but not it for it is transphobia. telling an it/its user that its pronouns make you uncomfortable is transphobia.
