Like, I’m sorry, but what part of “reblog our shit” do you not understand? Are you people doing this on purpose to spite us? Are you just assholes? Are you perhaps missing a few marbles? These are all from fics I have recently reblogged, and a couple from my own fics, and the ratio is fucking insane. Even on the one with the most notes, only 12% of them are reblogs. TWELVE PERCENT. And STILL you people wonder why creators are leaving this platform in droves or abandoning their projects wholesale. What is the matter with you people? Just know that if you continue to not reblog shit, you are part of the problem and part of why people keep leaving. You’re bad and you should feel bad.

The grand total on notes above is 4431. Of those, 793 are reblogs. That’s about 18%. That is absolutely unacceptable.

If I see one more anon in someone’s inbox going “when’s the next part?” “are you going to continue writing this fic?” “why haven’t you updated this fic?” EVER again I’m going to go absolutely fucking ballistic. And this really isn’t even about me at this point because I haven’t released anything in several months. This is about people who are currently actively writing and making gifs and edits and making art that are suffering with these fucking ratios. They don’t deserve it. They deserve to have their work seen.
