Getting held back a year in school doesn’t make someone stupid or dumb. There’s millions of reasons for being held back. Maybe they got really sick and had to miss a lot school. Maybe they had undiagnosed special needs. For me, I was held back in 1st grade because I had undiagnosed with ADHD and had hearing problems from my ear canals being too narrow so didn’t really learn anything. I now have 3.8 gpa. If I wasn’t held back I would have struggled so much.

I’m curious about it and I honestly don’t trust Google about this sort of thing so I figured I get better results asking people who actually are deaf with Tourette’s

I'm not a "will help, no questions asked" kind of friend. Because I will ask questions. I'm just not gonna question your answers. Like yeah if we're friends I can help you get rid of a body, no problem, but I still want to know who it was and what happened. Not because I don't trust that you'd kill someone who didn't need killing or would help someone you shouldn't be helping - we wouldn't be friends in the first place if I didn't know you well enough to trust your judgement. Personally, I think having a mortgage and car payments and 2 kids at 23 is not something to brag about and certainly not something to brag about under another young adult’s account of their family being ripped apart by ICE. I truly despise the variety of young parent that is like “I made a horrible decision and was saddled with permanent responsibility at a young age so you should stop complaining.”

I have found a solution to how aroace people can get the tax benefits of marriage without the romance. You find a best friend who is also aroace and legally marry them, then you buy a house together and sleep in different rooms. It’ll be like living with a roommate. AND your parents will stop pestering you about getting married. You don’t necessarily have to live in the same house but with how the economy is right now it’ll be the best way to save money. Now you can focus more on world domination.

Fr just say we’re leaving at 10 am and then actually leave around 10 am. It’s not that hard to do. Its the reason I ask “what time are we leaving” and not “when are we leaving” because for some reason asking for the time actually gives you a specific answer
