🎭 Art Fight 2026 🎭

I'm officially returning to Art Fight after sitting out last year, and I'm really excited to be back! And, of course, I'm joining team Mystery >:3

Since my last Art Fight in 2024, I've spent a lot of time improving my art, developing my characters, and creating entirely new OCs. This year's roster is completely different from what I had before (even though technically two of them are still my sona?? don't worry about it), and I'm excited to finally share them with everyone.

I've put a lot of love into these characters and can't wait to see what other artists create with them.

More than anything, though, I'm excited to see everyone else's characters and challenge myself to draw things I might not normally attempt.

I'm looking forward to another month of creating art, meeting new people, and filling my gallery with wonderful characters.

For those who don't know: Ikumi Nakamura is the woman who was senior artist on Bayonetta, and designed the titular character along with Hideki Kamiya. Their greatest moment of bonding was over their insistence that Bayonetta keep her glasses on at all times. Nakamura cannot go to horny jail. She is the warden.

Commission finished! ✨

This elegant sphynx kitty was an absolute joy to draw. I had so much fun rendering the dress details and playing with the soft pink and purple color palette.

Really happy with how this one turned out. I had a lot of fun working on the colors, expression, and overall atmosphere of the piece. Huge thanks to @mercy-love-joy for the opportunity and for trusting me with their character!

I've been trying very hard to get commissions because I'm carrying some debt that I need to pay down, and it's honestly been a little demoralizing to see so little interest so far.

im having feelings about the uffington white horse again

so essentially there’s this cool horse drawn into the hills in england made out of chalk and it’s like 3,000 years old.

people carved trenches 3,000 years ago and filled them with chalk in the shape of a horse but what’s interesting is that if you fail to maintain the horse by adding new chalk regularly, it will disappear. for 3,000 years, we’ve been filling in chalk in this horse so it doesn’t disappear.

we’ll never know what the purpose of the horse was originally. we’ll never know if it had ritual or spiritual significance or if it was just art. but we do know that people maintained it then, and, even though the meaning of the horse has long been lost to time, we continue to maintain it now.

the people who made this horse are long dead, but they live through us still, don’t you think?
