This song was a huge hit in Canada.
I don't think it charted anywhere else.
"My Definition" sampled the theme song to the old Canadian game show Definition, a program that everyone was familiar with.
The entire country was dancing to this song 1990-1991.
Funny thing is, everyone knew the song sampled here as the Definition theme. Almost nobody knew it was called Soul Bossa Nova by Quincy Jones.
Mike Myers grew up watching Definition. And that's why Soul Bossa Nova became the theme for Austin Powers.
