> the Vietnamese
> that country
It's like you don't even pretend to view Vietnamese People as human
America killed 3 million Vietnamese people, we put half of South Vietnam in Concentration Camps, we dropped more bombs on North Vietnam than were dropped by both sides in WW2, We permeantly poisoned the land with Agent Orange, the American war on Vietnam was the most inhuman and despicable action in this nations history, the Vietnamese had every right to do whatever they wanted to the occupation
When you learn what the US soldiers did to the Vietnamese, you'll never stop praying for the death of America.
i think it's funny Bruce Campbell is a campy horror guy because he's not a bad actor and he is very classically handsome/charming. purely in it for the love of the game.

The connection between football and domestic violence isn’t uncommon. A study shows that police receive increased calls reporting domestic violence every Sunday during football season [iii]. Researchers analyzed over 700 cities and counties using data from the National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) of police reports, revealing that these spikes are linked to teams losing a game [iii]. In fact, domestic violence incidents rise by about 10% on days when NFL games are played, usually occurring in family homes and most of the time affecting women [iii]. This shows that the outcomes of football games can have a real impact on people’s lives off the field. It’s important for fans, teams, and communities to recognize these patterns and work together to raise awareness and prevent domestic violence from happening, especially during football season.
NFL games bring people from all over the United States together to show their love for the game, creating an atmosphere where diverse cultur

[ID: a screenshot of a comic speech bubble. The black text in it reads "No matter how open-minded, socially conscious, anti-racist I think I am, I still have old learned hidden biases that I need to examine. It is my responsibility to check myself daily for my stereotypes, prejudices and, ultimately, discrimination." /ID end]
antiracism is a constant process. i was raised in a racist village and it's not easy to get rid of it. i moved away over 10 years ago but those ideas are still haunting me.
also keep in mind that shame + guilt are not conducive to growing as a person. when it comes to "checking yourself" it should be a non-judgemental process. it's not about flagellating yourself for every bad thought or trying to purify your mind of all corruption. it's only when acknowledging your own racist thoughts doesn't fill you with dread that you can really progress past the white guilt of it all.
radical self-acceptance & genuine self-critique are not opposites. they need each other. do not let obsessive-compulsive behaviors colonize your desire to grow as a person.
My proposal for a New Work of video art: - cavernous room - pitch black - only one museum patron is allowed in at a time - the music begins to play - the video wall slowly lights up - on screen is a single still frame from the following video - after 5 seconds you are plunged into darkness - the docent leads you out of the room - they hand you a stiff plastic card with a number between 1 and 1445 and an admonition to capture what you have seen in some other form (drawing, voice note to self, etc) - on the last day of the showing, there is a party with exactly 1445 attendees - you must find your fellow one second's custodians of the still frame - you share within your second your works that represent what you saw - you elect a representative - the chosen 48 assemble on stage - they tell the story of what you have seen - they sit down - lights down, same music you heard swells - the film plays at 1/10th speed (3fps -> 8min) - as your second plays, every frame number card of your second lights up - as your frame plays, your card glows a slightly different color - the lights come up, in silence you shuffle outside to a large patio for a social - you remain in silence until all 1445 of you are there - then the silence is lifted, it's (art) party time the video:
