freeware can be a great opportunity to get a feel for something and learn a new skill. and in some cases, the free versions are almost as powerful, so you might find that you saved a lot of money but made work that was just about equal to what you might have done with paid software!

this is so interesting you know, my mom, like any other facebook moms are quite convinced that electronics and video games caused the surge of ADHD and autism in today’s kids and she had the guts to tell this to my dad’s cousin who’s a medical doctor and she’s like “actually, nope. It’s just that now there’s better access to medical attention and so a lot more kids are better diagnosed. That created the illusion that now suddenly a lot of kids have autism just like how we think a lot of bad things are happening now and we associate them with the degrading of modern society/end of times etc. but it’s actually because we have faster, wider, and more access to news that 10 years ago we wouldn’t have heard of.”
