a little letter from a (now) 21 years old me to grade school me 💌
Surprisingly, we are still here! What a way to start a letter i know but we both know it took something to take us to this moment now. It’s a bit past midnight now, 19 july 2026 and we are officially turned 21. It’s a weird feeling not gonna lie. Knowing we both haven’t planned to stay alive till now…”im not going to live past 18” hah. Do u remember that though deep inside yourself when we were thinking what the hell was we supposed to do with our life when u didn’t even planned to be there? Similar thoughts haunts me sometimes still but somehow, dare i say after experiencing THAT (yes i mean grade school you still haven’t graduated but will even if there’s literally NO ONE beside people u thought would support, every teacher were shit even those who u romanticized then, math, geo, art and history teacher, no one even thought to include us in the any pictures when they were giving them from ENTIRE 8 years of schooling in that place) and high school (which is entirely different).
Yes bitch you’re wre GAY AFFFFF. just kidding, kinda off only tho. You had a girlfriend(?idk how to even describe it) which somehow give u enough emotional damage for 5 years and COUNTING. Btw she tried to follow us on FACEBOOK recently?? Messy af girl. Anyway, your high school classmate was into u but didn’t want to pursue us bc we are fat still. Kinda love it lol. Dad is dead anf u are somehow still raw doging it. Still the same part hurt, angry, sad yet still loving those “good” moments when he wasn’t out of his mind when he was more to the earth and not drunk. Anyway putting that man aside, you have lost some people you thought would be there forever. Your best friends to be more specific. You miss them periodically now only but only romanized versions of them tho. You know the deal. Your closest friends are now 2 friends from the high school and couple of interet friends, which one truly accepts the freak in u (yes hi rei this is you lol).
You kind of have a man but not, don’t even ask girl it’s still developing with that trust and commitment issues we have but he’s there and patient….and he’s TALL GIRLLLLLLLL.
ANYWAY, you are about to get hob (yes another thing you thought that would never happen), yur brother doesn’t actually hates u, he was just a hurt kid trying his best and didn’t show it the same as u. you don’t have pimple problems anymore and all ur classmates are so UGLY now. i have to be noisy sorry lol. You still learn shit and is still doing some things you shouldn’t (that’s a me problem tho). You are now medicated tho so that tells you something, we really had it rough. Im still unsure of what is going to happen tomorrow but, i think i became more dare i say “optimistic” about it. Also like ur high school classmates actually liked u??? even in depths of despair and depression they wanted you there.
That’s about it i think, the most important thing i would say idk. We still a messy ho, freaky, weird and awfully kind hearted. See you next year about the same time, don’t miss me. Just be what you were supposed to be, a kid with hopes and dreams you never had a chance to have then, you have them now within me and my skin. A reminder that, it’s okay to be a little nicer to ourselves and that, we are not the worst person ever even when we make mistakes.
sigh it’s interesting to think that how’s people “fear” from fat people actually made a dude that was into me personally and mentally made not to pursue me romantically even though he personally didn’t find me bad looking…that deep rooted fat phobia it is
