I’m afraid, not because there’s someone in the room, in the dark in the bed, but because there isn't. I'm afraid of the emptiness, which lies beside me like a corpse.

We all carry pain; some less, some more. And we will always carry pain. No other person will have the power to heal us, but they can have the power to help us carrying the pain; to make it less heavy. We will endure, but not alone. Loving one another is offering to carry the pain together, to make sure that we don't get lost in our pain.
