Hello! Thank you for all the work you do!
I did have a look through the tags so hopefully I’m not missing anything super obvious to what I’m looking for.
I’m hoping to find some fics of Crowley interacting with/protecting kids through the ages. Cause he’s a huge softy even if he pretends he isn’t. Aziraphale observing this and having feelings would be awesome but not necessary. I’ve been seeing lots of fanart recently that makes me want to read some similar fics! I can’t stop thinking about Anthony “you can’t kill kids!?” Crowley
Thanks again! Hope you’re all having a lovely day!
Hi! You might be interested in our #crowley is good with kids tag. Here are a few more to add...
Interwoven by MadisonAvenue (T)
Aziraphale watches Crowley entertain children by letting them braid his hair, but not everything is as it seems when Aziraphale learns why Crowley specifically cares for one of the children.
Outside of Eden by atimefeeler (T)
Six Thousand Years of Crowley Being Soft and Taking Care of Kids. (And Six Thousand Years of Aziraphale Taking in and Protecting Outcasts.) Scene 1: Outside the Garden. The First Children in Existence. Children, Crawley discovers, are superior to adults.
Pull Up the Ladder When the Flood Comes by midnightdragons (T)
Aziraphale’s face dawned with a sudden understanding. He knelt to the ground beside Crawley, slowly and purposefully, never breaking his gaze until his eyes flicked to Crawley’s wing. A silent question. Crawley did not answer for a long moment. He couldn’t breathe, his throat constricting in on itself. Did he trust this angel? Could he trust this angel? Did he really have enough faith in Aziraphale, who he had spent little to no time with since the Garden, to not harm these children? (Or: Crawley saves children during the Flood in Mesopotamia, and finds himself in an even more jeopardizing situation as he seeks out shelter. Aziraphale struggles with his own internal conflict, but attempts to help all the same.)
The Book of Bithiah by LucyCrewe11 (M)
In pre-flooded Mesopotamia, Crawly rescues a drowning child and unwittingly sets off a chain of unexpected events, resulting in him working in Hastur's household. As the world grows more violent and evil each day, filled with demons and Nephilim, the infamous flood draws ever-nearer...only nobody except Noah's family and one very fussy angel are taking any note...

may i humbly self-rec my St. Dymphna's series which involves Crowley running an extremely healthy and fun mother and child home
