Sorry for the delay!
TW for non-consensual touching.
In Greek mythology, the Underworld is the distinct supernatural realm where the souls of mortals go after death. It is a neutral, sunless afterlife divided into specific regions, ranging from idyllic fields for the heroic to a deep abyss for severe punishment. It represents a transition between life and death, embodying mystery and the unknown.

Summary:
Scott loses control on the ice, Kip and Scott finally talk, Kip heads to the Grand Prix Final, and Scott makes a decision that could ruin his life.
Hey, folks!
First of all, sorry for the delay. This week was pretty busy, but I finally found time to finish this chapter!
TW for violence, implied homophobia, non-consesual touching, and gaslighting.
In Greek mythology, the Labyrinth is an elaborate, complex structure designed and built by the legendary inventor Daedalus for King Minos of Crete. Located beneath the royal palace at Knossos, its sole purpose was to securely imprison the Minotaur, a terrifying monster with the body of a man and the head of a bull. The structure was crafted so brilliantly that it was completely inescapable; even its own creator barely managed to navigate his way back out after completing construction.
P.S. If you were wondering about the inspirations behind Scott's and Kip's scents in this series, here they are:
1. Kip's cedarwood and black pepper scent was heavily inspired by this bodywash by Niven Morgan and this handwash by Health Hut. Both smell divine.
2. Scott's sandalwood and worn leather scent was inspired by Smoke & Mirrors by Thomson Carter. His new scent - dark forest, damp earth, and fresh ink - is my all‑time favourite fragrance: Encre Noir by Lalique.

Cassandra’s truth is a concept from Greek mythology where Cassandra (a Trojan priestess dedicated to the god Apollo) accurately predicts future disasters—most notably the fall of Troy—but is cursed never to be believed.

Summary:
Kip is still spiralling and does something extremely stupid about it, Scott finally meets Kip's dad, Kip debuts his new Short Programme in Japan.
Hey, folks!
Another chapter is up!
Oof. This chapter was a tough one.
As usual, let me break down Kip's Short Programme for you:
1. Music:
Malagueña by Ernesto Lecuona (orchestral arrangement by Ferde Grofé)
2. Elements:
– Quadruple Salchow into Triple Toe Loop combination
– Triple Lutz
(“Deep outside edge before launching” means the skater leans strongly into the curve, with the blade cutting deeply into the ice on the little-toe side. It takes immense ankle strength, knee bend, and confidence to hold that sharp arc while staying stable.)
– Triple Axel
– Level 4 Step Sequence
(The highest difficulty level for a step sequence in figure skating - just check the description under the video.)
The inspiration for Kip's performance is Javier Fernández's Short Programme (also to Malagueña, but a different version of it). Just look at Javi's posture! Look at the way he moves! Aaaah 😍
But enough of me yapping! Enjoy another deadass long chapter.

Kip starts practicing his new Short Programme, Scott is exhausted from his first days of being a captain, some unpleasant realisations come Kip's way.
Hey, folks!
Surprise!
I had a couple of relatively free days, so I decided to finish the next chapter.
(And this chapter is quite short, so.)
Since we’re entering a new era for Kip, let me introduce his new Short Programme:

Kip experiences downsides of a sudden popularity, Scott misses an important event, Admirals lose in the Conference Semifinals, the boys go to France.
Hi, folks!
Chapter 3 is up and it is full of fluff (and just a tiny bit of angst)!
With that being said, this is the last fluffy chapter - from here on out, we’re heading straight into angsty angst. MWAHAHAHA!
Finally watched heated rivalry and didn't expect to love the side couple this much. Read game changer and just had to draw a couple of my favorites moments from there ♡

Summary:
Kip goes to Turin, Scott brawls in Boston, the boys have a heated reunion in New York and discuss their plans for the summer.
Hey, folks!
I’m back with the second chapter for this week, and it’s quite an intense one.
(Also, there’s some filthy smut towards the end - if you’d rather skip it, jump over the New York section until the first scene break.)
Kip has finally found his skating style! From this point on, picture his skating as heavily inspired by Spanish figure skater Javier Fernández. (Te quiero, Javi!!!)
Fernández’s style is very similar to how I imagine Kip skating — aggressive yet elegant, deeply expressive, with explosive power and massive jumps. His Short Programme at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, set to Charlie Chaplin’s Modern Times, is a great example.
1. Short Programme.
Music: Pyotr Tchaikovsky's Garland Waltz from the ballet The Sleeping Beauty.
Elements:
- Quadruple Toe Loop into Triple Toe Loop combination.

NEW STORY ALERT!
Paring: Scott/Kip
Rating: Explicit
Summary:
The absolute worst part about flying was the landing. Not the jarring, rubber-burning impact of the tires hitting the tarmac, but the dreadful, irrevocable finality of the seatbelt sign chiming off.
It was the sound of the spell breaking.
For five and a half hours, suspended thirty thousand feet above the continental United States, Kip Grady hadn’t been America’s Golden Boy. He hadn’t been the tragic, broken figure skater who collapsed on global television, and he certainly hadn't been the PR nightmare currently giving US Figure Skating executives an ulcer. For five and a half hours, he had just been a nineteen-year-old guy, tucked into the dim, pressurized cabin of a Boeing 757, safely anchored by the heavy, radiating body heat of the man sitting next to him.
Or:
Scott and Kip are back in New York and learning how to navigate their complicated lives together.
Hey, folks!
I’m back with the sequel, and it’s going to be a bit darker than the previous story. If you haven’t read it yet, I strongly recommend starting with Golden Boys, as some things here might not make much sense otherwise.
BEFORE YOU START READING, PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE TAGS!
This story deals with heavier themes, including sexual harassment, which may be triggering for some readers. If that’s something you’re not comfortable with, I’d suggest skipping this one, as it plays a significant role in the story.
I’ve spent an unholy amount of time researching this topic and, as a result, I like people even less now, lol.
If none of that scares you off - welcome to the “Let’s Torture Skip” club!
P.S. I don’t have a lot of free time these days, so please don’t expect daily updates. Once or twice a week is the best I can promise. Thanks for your patience <3
As usual, here is the soundtrack and the elements of Kip's routine:
1. Short Programme.
Pretty much the same:
Music: The Garland Waltz from The Sleeping Beauty (ballet) by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
Elements: Quadruple Toe Loop / Triple Toe Loop.
2. Free Skate.
Music: Sergey Prokofiev's Dance of the Knights from the ballet Romeo and Juliet
Elements:
- Quadruple Toe Loop into Triple Axel combination.
- Quadruple Salchow.
- Triple Lutz.
- Triple Flip into Triple Toe Loop combination.
3. The suggested audio track for the Free Skate: Aram Khachaturian's Masquerade Waltz.

A-a-and the epilogue!
Phew! This story is finally over and I can take a breather for a little while.
Writing this story wasn't easy - at times I was so frustrated with it, I wanted to delete everything and never touch it again. But I pulled through and I'm quite satisfied with the result.
Thank you to everyone who has been following the updates here, on Tumblr, for sticking with me until the very end - I really appreciate it.

Hey, folks!
Here’s the final act! The next chapter is an epilogue.
So, we’re soooo back to having a soundtrack, so here’s what you’ll hear in this chapter (I definitely recommend listening while you read!):
1. In the first scene, Verso plays:
- Claude Debussy’s Rêverie
- Gabriel Fauré's Romance sans paroles, Op. 17, No. 3.
2. The final scene:
This one is a bit trickier. It’s one of my favourite melodies by Edvard Grieg - En Drøm (A Dream) - but I prefer an orchestral arrangement (the London Promenade Orchestra version)
For both our sakes, just imagine it’s played on the piano - I couldn’t find a good-quality version that’s piano-only (no voice or other instruments).
