I can’t take these tweets seriously. And here is why: Considering the content of DDLC, I think and this is just my opinion, I think that his statements here are asinine.

I mean, I get having standards, but coming from someone who made a game that shows: 1.) a girl who had hung herself (complete with slumped head, glazed eyes and blood on her hands from her trying to free herself from the noose, when her survival instincts kicked in), 2.) Showing Yuri with severe cuts on her arms and then cutting it with an almost comical rewind effect and acting like nothing happened and 3.) Yuri just straight up stabbing herself to death and then you have to watch her corpse decompose for 3 days (complete with, again, glazed over eyes that become shrunken as time goes on, her skin going pale and her blood oxidizing and turning brown). But sex and gender, and in this case, the sex and gender of a FICTIONAL CHARACTER, is completely off the table. I just find it dumb, that’s all. Trap is only a slur, if you use it as such.

Drug shortages were predicted after the hurricane and now they are starting to happen.  Since PR doesn’t seem to be considered to be part of the US by this administration, help to fix it has been short and late in coming, which means that drug shortages will only get worse.

Even 1 billion dollars is so much money that the human brain has troubles fully comprehending it, so much more money than any one, ten, twenty human beings would ever need in the span of a lifetime, even assuming a lifestyle more comfortable than that enjoyed by basically any other human throughout all of history. He has over 63.

And he wants you to donate to him?? TO HIM??? He could improve the lives of untold hundreds of millions of people if he just decided to give away some of his absurd riches. He could give away 95% of his money without it impacting the quality of his life in any measurable way. And he wants people to just give him more of it?
