Made some pastel and gold mail to send of to a friend in Australia. Drew emoticons throughout the letter, which added a fun whimsical flair - I might just have to buy some stickers for future use.

Sent out some lemons themed mail to Nantucket Island. Played around with paints, stamps and lettering for this one. Loved how vibrant the mix of yellow, white and green comes across.

Used some pamphlets from London Transport Museum to decorate this letter. Snail mail doesn’t have to be expensive, you can find materials absolutely everywhere if you just keep an open mind.

Here's a Sweden themed outgoing letter to a new pen pal who was curious about where I came from. Not normally much of a nationalist, but really enjoyed putting together this little letter.

Sent of this fun bit of flowery snail mail to South Africa! Used a mix of stamping, doodling and mini-washi collages to pretty up my stationery and mail tag sheets. Also attached some washi samples to a vintage cigarette card for a pretty effect.

I'm also a little in love with the Alice in Wonderland stamps - they're so cute!

Sent out a wintery book of notes to Canada a few weeks back - finally know it's reached it's destination! Went for a rougher feel this time, but still not quite industrial - I do want to play around with more rough craftiness but I end up always softening it up! I guess I'm just too fond of things looking sleek :P

Thank you! and a New Feature

Thank you everyone who's sent me lovely messages the last few weeks. I know I haven't replied to them all, sorry! Mostly it's because I want to keep all your kind words in one place. Know that I've read them all and enjoyed them greatly! 

Many of you have asked me if I could share some snail mail tips or put together some how-to's. You'll be happy to know that you've all convinced me - I don't know how much help I'll be, but I'd love to share what little knowledge I've gathered during my time in this gorgeous community.

Over the next few weeks I'll be releasing a series of blog posts covering various snail mail topics. Some of you have already let me know things you'd like to see, if you haven't, please do let me know any topics you are interested in!

It's February! That means Valentines Day! Now I'm not going to lie to you, I'm a little ambivalent about this holiday - but at the end of the day, is there really anything wrong with spreading a little love and affection?
