Demons don't naturally bleed red.

It's usually a thicker, ichor-like substance. It's sticky and gooey and flows poorly. Usually black, but sometimes a deep brown.

A demon who is well nourished- or very recently nourished- will bleed red. It's not their own blood, really, but the power that flows that thins it and brings it to color.

Witches who oftentimes work closely with demons or permit them to feed have very thin blood, almost like water. Witches aren't always sickly, though, but that more depends on the arrangement and the type of demon.

Witches commanding low-level demons, like pyrobats or convincing empusas that they are its new queen are oft very frail and pitiful.

Witches commanding high-level demons, comparable to Sparda, or even Mundus himself, tend to have thin blood, but be healthy- glowing, even, as though they were completely fulfilled by something else.
