Don’t put users through the same e-mail campaign you did earlier in the year if the content is the same. At least get new videos and content!
I keep on reading the same story, we UX designers should have empathy for the users. But how exactly does this happen?
Now i see what this inner critic is, it's like quantum physics, when you watch an atom go through a slit it behaves differently than when you are not watching... that's how we are, when we let inner critic partake in everything in our lives, it changes us, it won't allow us to be vulnerable. yet we already are vulnerable to the critic himself, the worst offender.

So when I design something I design it with that Terminator view in mind. I try to ask myself “what would someone think if they can’t read?” And of course online thats quite tough because it’s 95% text anyway, but you need to be able to design something that someone does not read well, and can decipher right away. But having that abstract Terminator mode, as a way to see things, that helps a lot when designing user interfaces.

Watching this concert version of Joe Hisaishi is really beautiful. It is amazing how everyone comes together to create something that sounds so beautiful that can almost speak to your soul. That is possible with great design, if we can pay more attention to detail and see the both the bigger and smaller “picture” at the same time.
Why are we creating what we are creating? How can bring all the of the elements together to create something as beautiful when things work in concert? It would appear the only way is to pay attention to detail and to care deeply about what you are doing and who you are doing it for.
Design problem, you never know when all the cream is going to come flying out . Can we make it so we can feel it when the liquid is coming out?
Making things during a discussion or debate is a wonderful way to establish consensus and minimize circular arguments

Day 4: Creating a Presentation
It has been almost a week since I joined GA, it has been one of the best learning experiences I’ve ever had. In such a short period of time I have absorbed so much from the material this class has to offer. We’ve learned about conducting User Research, sketching interfaces, usability testing and all the subtopics that these main topics cover. A few days ago we were assigned with projects where we have to put into practice what we’ve learned, in a few hours I will be presenting my project in front of the class. I will be delivering a presentation based on my process of designing an experience for a weather app. This entry is going to be a short one, I’ve been at General Assembly all day and night preparing this Keynote to show my peers in the morning. I’d like to give a shout out to whoever brought that pizza to GA this evening 🙌.

However, the UX Strategist’s job is not to own the user’s experience. (Many people get hung up on this. If you are busy trying to own the user experience, your focus is on your ego and needs, not the user’s.) For example, if I were the Director of UX at Disney, the late and rude bus driver, the super-sweet ticket lady, the waitress at the overpriced restaurant, and even Mickey Mouse might have a bigger hand in determining the user’s experience than I would.
