The piece dates back to at least 1979, when Anne wore it (with what seems to be a matching bracelet) at the BAFTA ceremony in London.
Unfortunately that's all I can find on the piece for the moment.

There is absolutely no way by illustrations alone that you can experience Renoir and his work in reality. I was not blessed to see this one in person darn it all. I have been there where Snoopy is. Not with my mom but with my dad. I have been going through a dark night of the soul this week. Charles Schulz knew almost everything about what we can face in life. I am convinced. What an amazing man he was. Precious. He left so much to us.

@bobbydoguk I cannot even wrap my mind around these offerings today. What even are we looking at? The Village clock and the rabbits are winning it, but all of them have so much love in them I cannot even believe it. And taking another look back that blue basket creation is the bomb as well. These are crochet items which are special to me, although I love the knitted toppers and works as well. So much love and care from people. @bobbydoguk I have not been on myself much this weekend, I am having all kinds of issues with not just Tumblr, but my internet provider as well. However, it came at the same time as some inside issues on the spiritual side that I needed to work on offline. @skippyv20 and @labwuh would know. We all do need to take a look inward every once in a while I think, and this past week was one of those for me. This topper is adorable, so creative and beautiful, and even has a sweet panda for our dear friend. I send all my love to you and other friends here. It is gorgeous weather currently where I am and I am embracing life. My almost 20 year old cat is too, she is positively luxuriating on her heated cat tree perch as I write this.
