3 Lives a couple of beers and our JK is back

28 June 2026, and we got almost 4 hours of JK live.

No, I haven't managed to watch all three of the lives all through, but gosh jolly, I was there for at least one of the moments I'm gonna be talking about here, and it was super.

You know, I remember reading a Jikook prediction a while back saying that something big will happen in June (I'm not into these predictions, but I gotta tell you that I wouldn't mind for some of them to come true). Well, we're at the end of June and nothing earth shattering has happened just yet, but idk, to me today it felt that once again, if you paid attention to JK, this was definitely a loud one.

Idk how many beers he drank and if and how much he had to drink before the live, but we definitley got a JK who was a little loose. And it was a win for us.

I'm not sure where to start, but I guess I'll start from the once again confirmation that the white iphone is indeed the JK's photo and filming phone. uhm... I mean JK and JM's photo and filming phone.

Nothing huge. Just more confirmation. Again.

We also had JK doubling down on his "who will you save if a train came" answer in his short appearance in yesterday's NJ, Jin, Tae and JM live.

Of Course it would be JM.

How that man managed to continue his live and didn't storm out of there at that very moment - that takes some strong self control, lol.

Ok, so I'm gonna take this as an opportunity to talk about something.

This is, of course, my opinion, but that room JK's doing the live in, the room he's been doing his dance challenges in, it doesn't look lived in. They have been there for days now (since the 23rd) and the room is totally bare (table in front of that mirror basically empty)...

Closet empty.

And yes, I know NJ told us how JK was living out of his suitcases back in NY, and yet, wouldn't that mean that the room would be even less tidy than it is?

To me it feels like this is a backup room, you know, that uncluttered room (without JM's shit hanging around - can't have JM's undies showing up on the chair like we did back in the NJ 2019 live, now can we?), where he can do his dance challenges and lives in. Oh, and that room JM can kick his ass out to when he needs some sleep.

Moments...

Day 2 Stanford soundcheck 18 May 2026.

Thank you Black N' White yet again for documenting this moment with your gorgeous photographs.

Saw this clip and had me thinking how we get Jikook. We get that they love each other. We get that they are in love. We get that they are each other's "one and only". We get the intimacy and the ease and the safe space and we get that what they have is so much MORE than what so many want to label them as.

And we get that because of these kind of moments.

Little, sometime seemingly insignificant moments.

A little touch here, a tiny smirk there.

But these little moments are EVERYTHING.

It's the lightness of the touch, sometimes an almost touch. The gentle but also so needy approach.

It's the facial expressions.

It's the overwhelming amount of these moments and their consistency for over a decade.

It's how it's been almost 11 years.

And the way they look at each other and touch each other and are with each other is like this is all new and exciting and filled with adoration and awe... The level of intimacy is over the roof (clearly not a new relationship, clearly you can see this is a settled calm long term relationship) and yet the way they look at each other and act around each other at times feels like this is all new and fresh and like they are in utter surprise and awe that this person is theirs.

I've been watching them for the past few weeks since the tour started.

We've seen all the moments, there are so many of them. The cute interactions, the looks, the whispers, the touches.

So what is it about this moment that had me go: "This is something I have to write about"?

Well, 2 things had me at pause.

The first and obvious one was JK going for JM's necklace (or so it looks like).

Reminded me of this moment:

That need of JK's to touch that necklace, which to me, sorry not sorry, is him admiring his purchase and/or stating his purchase. There, said it!!

But the second moment, that's the one that really got me.

And I might be over reaching here, but I can't help it. It gives me the feels.

When JK risks it all

Because JK does that.

We got quite a few precious moments in the last few days (the two last Tampa concerts). Lots of giggles and touchy and just soft and cute moments.

But today we got JK pushed over the edge.

He has those moments when he just can't hold himself back (as held together as he is when it comes to his interactions with JM in times like this).

He has those moments when the overflow of feelings is so bad that he can't hold himself back.

So he does something impulsive and loud.

And he is willing to risk it all.

Like he did back in May 2019.

Or at the 2019 TMA's.

Or 2022 Las Vegas.

He was on a roll there.

Yeah, JK has those moments where he'll throw it all to the wind. And JM, well he can be loud too, but somehow when JK does these things it overwhelms JM, just like it did this time.

Did I mention how beautiful they are?

At a time where it's clear they are being subdued, for whatever reason there is (and there can be many of them - all demanding of them to stay on the downlow more or less), JM (and somewhat JK as well) are being as loud as they can.

Because it's a choice.

When in all but one of the promos since March you haven't been sat next to each other; When you are being placed away from each other, mostly on opposite sides, and not even once side by side in every single group picture from the first night nor the second; When it's clear (especially in the first night) that you are holding back even when what you want is to be close to each other;

You find ways to show that even though there are those that would want to take that and twist these decisions into a reality that it isn't, they aren't a reality.

This is the reality.

This is the person they choose.

Of course JK goes live when I'm asleep, so what's new?

I haven't watched the live just yet, and with all the content that dropped and is dropping Idk when I will be able to watch the full live, so I thought I'd just post a few of JK's JM on the brain moments from the live.

Disclaimer: there might be more - this is what been shared so far in sm.

So, he was watching a Jin Abyss fan edited clip. JK loves his hyungs, every single one of them. But there is love and there is LOVE. And JM hyung, well he has exclusivity when it comes to JK's LOVE.

Yeah, it did sound like he said Park Jimin at that point, but he was reading out the creator of the clip.

It was his algorithm that found it though, so...

I think we've kind of reached a point where we take it for granted. We shouldn't. He takes the time to sit down and do these long lives and connect with his fans. He shares his time and thoughts (as much as he can) and vocals and at times vulnerabilities way beyond what's expected or acceptable in the industry he's part of. And somehow, whatever he does or doesn't do he's being dragged. It's either not enough or too much. He just cannot win. And that's why we need to remember and acknowledge that not only is it enough, it's more than enough. It's beyond expectations.

On a side note…was talking with a very good friend earlier today about what a treasure JK is. He is that once in a generation performer. Truly a rare breed. He gives SO much to his fans, loves us so much. Like @kanmom51 was saying, he gives more of himself than any of us should ever expect. I wish that those who are currently hating on him and saying nasty things about him would take a step back and realize how lucky we are…

It is just SO intimate and personal. It feels like that photo was meant to be just for them to have…a couple photo…full of emotion and love and happiness…and they decided to share it with us.

If we are talking about choices

And we are, because duh, that's the point of this post of mine...

There is something I feel we haven't talked about here since both JM and JK's birthdays.

It's been weighing on me for a while now and I wanted to put it down on paper, so to speak.

I know we are all caught up in the excitement of AYS2 coming, but a second and a half before that drops I wanted to share these thoughts I've had with you.

We've been through a bit in the past few months.

Like wtf happened?

That clear hight from the two's pre-discharge and discharge from military, followed by them going on their trips and the LA smoking hot live, followed by... do I even have to say it? I don't wanna...

That f^$*&# of a reporter at the airport - he just HAD to open his big old mouth, right?

That #%*@ D and the shitshow that followed, including the 'statement' made a day prior to JK's birthday. Which, unsurprisingly (to me, at least) also ended with JM being silent on JK's birthday, for the first time EVER (other than during military service).

JK came live the day before his birthday and for his birthday. And he most definitley did not look happy.

His attitude was kind of grim.

This was not the JK we came to know in his birthday lives.

Unlike JM that has repeatedly told us that his birthday isn't something he feels is too important,

JK's attitude has always been different.

Birthdays are important to JK.

And that is also the reason why it has been so important for JM to be there for him every single year from debut.

Including flying half way across the world to surprise JK for his birthday.

Because he knew, he knows how important that day is for JK. Not only being there for him, with him, but also acknowledging it publicly.

But he couldn't this year.

The whole shitshow that dropped days before JK's birthday, the statement issued just a day prior, it came as no surprise what so ever that JM stayed silent this year.

Sadly we predicted it, and so sadly said prediction came true.

Did they spend time together on the day? I have to believe that they did. They were and are inseparable. JM has ALWAYS been there for JK's birthdays and I am positive that he was there this year too. But I am also sure that it wasn't the same, it wasn't a joyful day because as happy as they are to be together it was marred by the fucked up actions of that person, things beyond their control.

And maybe that is why this happening at the timing it did hit JK so hard - because this day means so much to him.

So JK was not happy. It was as clear as day.

And the change in attitude was evident.

This isn't because he's matured.

This isn't him changing what he actually thinks about birthdays.

Look at him.

His body language.

The way he's not looking into the camera. The way he won't let us see his eyes.

And so, I think they made a choice.

Both of them.

JM doesn't even talk about not having a cake for his live, he only says that he didn't eat cake...

And that's because he doesn't like cake...

And dieting too?

But you see... It's not about being on a diet. It's not about not liking cake.

They both always had those cakes to celebrate it, with us. JM never really ate the cakes anyway. It was about blowing out the candle/s and having that little celebration with Army.

And this here is about choosing to not celebrate their birthdays this year, because something happened. Something that hurt them.

Something beyond their control that was forced on them and that forced them apart publicly in a very abrupt and unpleasant way.

No public birthday wishes for each other (with JK it could have passed as "it's just JK being JK, sometimes he does sometimes he doesn't", but with JM it was so damn loud and obvious - JM NEVER missed a JK birthday).

But there is a comeback in the works, and they can't not show up for their birthdays, right?

Even if they are mad.

Even if they are angry.

Even if they are disappointed. In Army as well.

So they did.

They showed up.

They did their birthday lives.

But there was no celebration.

And what is the culmination of a birthday celebration if not the birthday cake?

And they never forwent the birthday cake. Even in chapter 2 and their solo era.

JK's 2023 birthday live not included, as he came for less than 9 minutes just to say hi and bye, and basically JM is the one to give us the birthday live for JK, lol. Man was busy. Too busy, if you ask JM.

With JK it was very fresh, the hurt, it felt more raw, this was just a day after the statement was made and it's obviously closer and more painful. And although JM's birthday comes almost a month and a half later, and although he was back in the public eye by now, army drooling over him with his travel to the Dior show, he decided to not go though with the whole birthday shtick as well.

Like it or not. It's about the birthday celebration with the fans, even when doing the birthday live without the other members. There is ALWAYS a cake.

Not this year.

A choice.

A JM and JK choice.

When you can't say it out loud, when your hands are tied, it's those little acts of "rebellion' of sorts - defiance - that give you that sense that you are still in control.

That, to me, is what this was about.

I almost started crying again reading this post. Sweet sweet JK … you could tell he was or had been crying. My heart broke for him that day. I can not believe this is where we are now post MS. The absolute shit show that they have had to endure. Meanwhile doing their best to always put a smile on their faces. They deserve SO much more than this. These are two of the kindest, sweetest, most humble, genuine humans I have ever known. I hope through all of this bullshit they’ve had to deal with that they know there are SO many of us ARMY that truly do love them.

Don't believe everything your eyes see.

Sadly, once upon a not so long ago, seeing was believing, including in footage.

We aren't there anymore.

Deep fakes, AI generated media is no longer a once in a while big deal occurrence. It's here, it surrounds us, and unless the creators have basic decency to let us know, many a times this media can be and is passed as true.

And to many of such creators, that's exactly what they want. To sell a lie. A lie that is so much harder to disprove than proving the truth.

Because, how do you prove something like that is fake? Made up? That someone took the time and trouble to create media that can harm one or more other human beings.

And when they do this, when they create these little media 'bombs' meant to blow up someone's life (metaphorically), they make sure to put in just enough details to make you go: "hmm.. that is him...", while the other details that don't exactly fit are left unnoticed by most, sadly.

And when those that notice it call it out, well, by then it's gone viral and those calling it out are called the delusional. Because, how can it not be real, right?

But you see, especially in this day and age we need to stop and ask the questions before we believe... ANYTHING... EVERYTHING...

Kind of sad that in the day and age when almost all is out there for us to see, there is a probability that what we are shown is twisted, a lie, a concoction.

So, before going with your initial knee jerk reaction, as hard as that may be, because it's so overwhelming or disturbing or problematic, stop for one second and think:

Think about the what.

Think about the who.

Think about the when - the timeline of the media.

Think about the how.

Think about the where.

Think about the when - of the posting.

And sometimes you will find those little pieces of clarity.

If you just stop and look for just one more second.

If you just stop and think for just one more second.

If you just stop and remember for just one more second.

You all know exactly what I'm talking about here.

Believe me I've seen it ALL.

If this is important to you, to know the truth, not to just see and run with it because it's the easiest thing to do - he's a man, he's living up to the image people want him to have - stop and look.

Properly.

And you will see. The little discrepancies. Those that are so easily overlooked when you are quick to accept.

And after you stopped to see, stop and think, stop and remember.

Take the timeline into consideration. The supposed when and where. Things we know that happened right before and right after. Things said and done. Think about the who. Think about everything you know from before, from after.

People are talking about his privacy invaded and the need to protect his privacy, and yes, they are right. But see, this clip isn't an invasion of privacy, this clip is defamation . The motive behind it is to blemish his name, his character. And as for his privacy, well he knew back then that he was being followed, that sasaengs were camping outside his place 24/7. He knew it. He addressed it. Multiple times.

Let that little piece of information that you might have forgotten sink in before you decide to watch that clip again and go with the narrative it's trying to paint. A narrative we've seen come up before.

Yeah, at the end of the day you will believe what you want to believe. I see it daily, people falling for shit that's thrown their way, without research, without stopping and thinking logically.

But please don't just accept it without stopping and thinking. Properly. Evaluating. Reasoning. Not assuming.

Give him at the very least that.

Give them at the very least that.

There is someone that is clearly out to hurt him. To hurt them.

Thank you @kanmom51 for saying what needed to be said. It so sad to think that we now live in an age where we have to question everything we see … especially on SM. Technology is amazing but it is also incredibly scary and dangerous. AI is here, it’s not going anywhere, and it’s just gonna keep getting better (which is very scary).

We are going to have to go back to really questioning things, being detectives, and trusting our gut. Which is hard when we’ve been taught for so long that if it’s out there … it must be true.

And I agree 100%. These videos and pictures were designed to defame him and cause him (and those close to him) pain, embarrassment and hurt.

I just don’t get how people can hate someone they don’t even know SO much that they feel the need to do things like this.

He deserves SO much better.

So Saturday night I had my “k-popped”!

No, nothing naughty….😏😏😏

My first kpop concert! I am no longer a kpop concert virgin 😁😁

ATEEZ was here in Nashville last night. I am so into BTS I had never really listened to them. Well, a friend of mine who knows I love BTS surprised me with free tickets to their concert through her company … and they were in a suite! She figured since I love BTS I might enjoy ATEEZ too. I love that she thought of me 🥰. And….it was an amazing concert! It was almost overwhelming…there was so much to take in!!! I really liked their songs and they are AMAZING performers. My husband and my friend’s husband were telling me after the concert that they now have mad respect for K-pop groups after seeing ATEEZ live. Even though the music was not their style, they were so impressed by how well they sang, how energetic and well choreographed their performances were and how much they engaged with the audience. It was obvious to them how much the group loves their fandom.

They couldn’t believe how loud the crowd was in the stadium, saying it was hands-down the loudest arena event they have ever been to. And that’s saying a lot because my husband has been to soooo many concerts, professional and SEC football games, and hockey games.

It was an INCREDIBLE experience and I am SO READY for BTS!!!

Let's talk about the "precious" discussion going on.

Well, not about what it means, because we all know that already.

But about the sort of backlash or backflip going on.

Sort of.

Apparently, and this is coming from some accounts on X, K-Jkks are a bit upset (?) that I-Jkks are running with this. "Making a big deal of it".

And there is a bit of a back flip that it's not a big deal that JM didn't mean to talk dirty (that's what I'm understanding from the discussion), and that when he realized he did he immediately apologized.

*side note: This kind of feels like gatekeeping or policing, even more so when I've seen some of the original posts being deleted most likely due to the pressure that was put on them by others on X.

But here's the thing.

And this is totally my pov, my thoughts, which I do not claim to be 100% true, as I am not a mind reader. But you know what? Those that claim otherwise aren't either. They don't know what JM meant or didn't mean to actually say.

What I think is that these sort of nay sayers are right but also I think they aren't.

How's that?

Well, I do think that it was a slip of the tongue.

On the live.

Not a slip of the tongue for someone that dare not speak those words. Not a slip of the tongue in the sense that JM doesn't talk that way at all or around JK or that in his mind he meant to say something else but it came out in a way it shouldn't have and he was shocked when he realized it.

Well, I'm positive JM didn't mean to let this kind of comment slip during their live. And that's what shocked JK and had JM all embarrassed and apologetic.

Not the fact that he said those words.

They both had a giggle with that one. Not to mention their ramen discussion in AYS Jeju (also, quite suggestive and flirtatious).

JM has done it too - rabbit spit is spicy;

or "let's be honest, you enjoyed it right?" with JK's hand bounding for ON MV;

or not in words but most certainly sexually suggestive and clearly making him laugh with the hot dog in his Tokyo live - remember there was a JK sitting right opposite him off camera - a healthy assumption).

This latest one was pretty blunt and I think the realization it was done live (no edit out options) is what surprised the two of them, lol.

So no, I don't think that JM didn't mean what he said (like some are trying to say).

I get it that K army are saying this, well some of them, because others are still running with the fact that he actually did say that word and not that it sounded like and he didn't mean and whatever else is being said.

JM did mean to say it.

You know what? Just like he meant to write the comment "I'm not that easy" on JK's 27 July 2023 in bed live when JK was trying to get him to do the live with him.

He just didn't mean to say it live. Regretting it the second it came out.

Just like he did back then, going and deleting it immediately.

It was definitely a slip of the tongue. Not because that isn't the way he talks with JK but because it happened to slip out during their live broadcast.

And for those that are now saying "it isn't a big deal", again, yes and no.

Not a big deal that a close to 30 year old man makes a sexual innuendo, not a big deal it being a slip of the tongue.

And yet, it is actually quite telling. Because this is exactly how the two converse. Including with and around the others btw. They are all adults. But in the conversations between them, about them (spicy rabbit spit) there is a lot of sexual innuendo tossed around, just like with any real life sexually active couple!!

I also want to say this: those who are back flipping with "it's not a big deal because he didn't mean to say that" are the ones making it into a big deal. They are the ones that have an issue with a man nearing 30 talking like a man his age would. The members swear and they talk dirty and they have sex and it's time that people get that through their heads. JM is a precious human being but he ain't no saintly virgin who doesn't swear (have you seen AYS????), doesn't talk dirty and doesn't have sex. To those who are still living in that dream I guess I say it's time to grow up. He most certainly has!!

I will say this once again clearly and loudly:

JM meant to say what he said. It was clearly a dick joke.

His shocked reaction wasn't about saying something rude or god forbid having something he said be misconstrued as something rude. His shock was that it slipped out when they were doing a live, in front of millions of people that were watching them.

It's not about what he said, it's about when and where he said it!!!

This wasn't his big gay reveal.

This was a slip of the tongue during a conversation he was having with the person he is used to talking this way with.

Only thing is that he was punch drunk tired at this point, that he, in the moment, kind of forgot that the conversation was being broadcast live to millions of people.

The millisecond later, after JK's reaction, and when it dawned of him, is when he got flustered and the whole apology to follow came to be.

It's not about what he said, it's about saying it live in the company of millions of fans.
