More bunnies from the animal rescue. I do not know why the black one is attempting to eat the other. After all, rabbits are herbivores.

There's something so deeply profound about Suzume's ideas about how people love the land, and how in return the land loves its people. That the separation of people from the places they love is a trauma so deep, not just in the people but in the land itself, these lonely places that are abandoned, that it ripples and builds and breaks the world again.
That you heal that wound by remembering how people loved that place, and then let it go. You remember the love and happiness. And then you return it to the gods. That you grieve the land like you grieve a person- you have to remember it, love it, before you can really heal from its loss.

team7 on a hiking trip!!
naruto ruined his water bottle and had to ask for papashi's for the whole trip
sakura is the only one who forgot her hat so she had to wear papashi's stupid cap instead
I feel like kids borrowed half of the kkshi's stuff because they forgot something. sasuke didn't forget anything but pretended that he did just to feel included
(I also used this video as an inspo for their outfits!)
What do you think of this timeline I painstakingly wrote down after hours of Naruto Wikia? 4 yrs: attends Academy. 5 yrs: becomes genin, teamed with Rin&Obito (9 yrs). 6 yrs: becomes chūnin. 9 yrs: becomes jōnin, Obito dies (13 yrs). 10 yrs: Rin dies (14 yrs). 11 yrs: enters ANBU. 13 yrs: ANBU captain. 14 yrs: Kyūbi attack. 19 yrs: Uchiha massacre, Kakashi leaves ANBU. 26 yrs: jōnin sensei to Naruto&co. Rin and Obito were 3 to 4 yrs older than Kakashi, so it fits?
Rin and Obito were actually the same age as Kakashi. That’s why the timeline is so weird. Despite Kakashi being a chunin by the age of 6, Obito and Rin became chunin at 11 (I think… my memory is a little fuzzy) but they were still on the same team. I think Kishimoto kind of forgot about these details near the end of the manga lmao.
So it would be something like 5 yrs: graduated from the academy. 6 yrs: promoted to chunin. 8 yrs: Sakumo’s suicide. 13 yrs: promoted to jounin and Obito “dies”. 14 yrs: Rin dies, the Kyuubi attacks, and Minato dies. According to the anime, he was already part of the anbu at this time, but the manga never specified so he may have entered anbu between the ages of 14 and 22.22 yrs: Uchiha massacre, during the time we assume Kakashi was part of anbu for a decent amount of time. According to the anime, he was already an anbu leader (which sounds appropriate).26 yrs: Becomes jounin to Team 7.
This drives me crazy. I rechecked Naruto Wikia, and this is what I saw:
~ 1 ~ They ARE the same age. Points to @hatakelegacy for that.
~ 2 ~ There IS a four years gap between their graduations. I seem to remember they attended the welcoming ceremony together (wans’t Obito late or something?), so we can safely say that they both enrolled at 4. Kakashi graduatet at 5, Obito (and RIn) at 9.
~ 3 ~ Kakashi is promoted to jonin at 13 and Obito “dies”, as you said. Which means that Rin’s death, the end of the Third Shinobi War, Minato becoming Hokage, Kakashi entering ANBU and the Fox Attack happened all back-to-back. What a sucky year for Kakashi.
So, the question is… What did Kakashi do in those four years? He didn’t sit idly, I mean, he was promoted to chunin. Did Minato take him as an apprentice and they formed a two-man squad until Minato decided Kakashi was ready for a genin team (even if he was already a chunin?)
Anyway. You are so cool, @hatakelegacy
Food for thought: can we talk about how seriously underweight ninja seem to be? It’s not healthy for a ninja, someone who should be stuffed with muscles, to weigh only 67 Kg when you’re 180 cm tall. Obito is a little better, but not that much.
Maybe Kishimoto hadn’t made a solid decision at the time to make Tobi out as Obito. Whatever his reasons were, he really did screw up the timeline when he did the big reveal chapter. Not only did he somehow make Kakashi and Obito take the chuunin exams together, but he also put FUCKING ANKO in that background. Anko would have been like… two years old at the time if Kakashi really was a six year old. (I guess Anko is the REAL talented shinobi.)
As for what happened with Kakashi during those four years, we really don’t know. A popular fanfiction idea back in the day was that Minato became his mentor for some time, but he eventually wanted to get Kakashi off of the battlefield and interact with kids his own age.
(And yes, Kakashi is obnoxiously underweight. The fact that Obito is heavier makes me laugh; Obito, the one who lost half his body to a rock, completely malnourished, is somehow heavier.)
