My Genshin Impact AU written for @mcytblraufest is finally here! It’s a Lizzie centric fic that is a retelling of the Fontaine Archon Quest with a focus on Shadowbeans and Seablings. Art in this fic was made by @somehowmags which can be viewed here.

The people will all be dissolved into the waters, and only the Hydro Archon will remain, weeping on her throne. Only then will the sins of the people of the Ocean Empire be washed away.

The Ocean Empire is fated to be destroyed as foretold by an ancient prophecy. Determined to save her people, the Ocean Queen is determined to prevent that from happening, no matter the cost. In the present day, Lizzie plays the role of the Hydro Archon, witnessing events from the prophecy come true, all while avoiding suspicion from everyone, including her own brother and a certain duke.
