Hello-hello! The Potluck Secret Satan 2026 is finally here: fourth potluck edition, and twentieth overall. This is the anything-goes edition: Any sort of TTRPG or RP character works, instead of being thematically limited to a specific ancestry or race!
The Secret Satan is an art trading event that follows the Secret Santa model, focused on TTRPG characters. It is focused on visual art. Most people do illustrations (either digital or traditional), but we do also allow 3D and other mediums.
You can enter the event by filling up this form. You can find all the rules in it too. The inscriptions are open from today, 21 of April, up until 28 of April, with it included. We will send mails on the 30 of April. You will need to submit your piece on the 29 of May.
Reach of late has been a bit of a nightmare, so reblogs are much appreciated, there's always folk who find out about the event the day after it closes!

And so it continues! We've been introduced to our next side, and with the help of @prince-rowan-of-the-forest, I have created yet another room for them!
Roman - Anxiety
-That sure is a lot of blue for a red-coded character...
-Red flowers in a birdcage, you say? Isn't that interesting...
-He does, in fact, have plants in his room. Don't ask how he waters them or makes sure they get sunlight from only one tiny window. Though, the blue one by the window sure is thriving.
-A physical media enjoyer, including lots of vinyl records and CDs. A stack of vinyls of the table under the player, some on the walls. And of course, an entire section of his window nook for housing CDs. He's very particular about leaving things in their original cases.
-The books are... books. I don't actually know what the books are. Maybe I should have figured that out before posting.
-That far box under the window seat is where the extra blankets go, said blankets are just all in use right now.
-The bed is barely higher than Roman's knees, and that's with all the blankets piled on top of it.
-Virgil linked his room to the Imagination, and uses it to come check on him. He insists it's not sneaking in like secret lovers in high school. It's totally sneaking in. This window can't move like Virgil's can, though.
-Please, I beg of you, do not question the logic behind the fairy lights going down the wall. Just don't. Please.
-Please look at the crystals, I worked really hard on them

Roleswap AU Rooms (1/5)

My dear friend @prince-rowan-of-the-forest recently wrote a roleswap fic! Well, recently-ish, it was posted a couple weeks ago. But my muses gripped me by the shoulders, turned my chin so I could not look away, and said to me "You must create bedrooms for them all." And so, here I am.
Virgil - Creativity
-The view out of his window can be anything. A forest, a field of flowers, a towering cityscape, the village around a kingdom, heck, the inside of a cloud. Anything you can imagine, it can be.
-The dark purple curtain is a blackout curtain! It's just like the ones they have in hotels.
-Virgil drew most of the things on the walls, but Janus and Remus did some too! It's a family bonding exercise.
-He has stolen at least three blankets from Janus to make that blanket nest.
-Him and Remus meet up once a week to clean his room together. The help is needed, it looks like an absolute mess every time. They just cleaned this morning...
Janus - Morality
-It is always sunny and pleasantly warm outside, despite what the weather in the real world or even the rest of the Mindscape is.
-If one so wished, they absolutely could use the sliding glass door, go outside, lay in the grass or swing on the tree swing. Sometimes there are clouds when you go outside, so you can cloud watch. And there are only the bugs you like, so you could have a picnic outside. Or you could sit in the shade, lean against the tree bark, read a book. You could climb the tree. The world is your oyster, as long as oysters have exactly one tree inside them.
-All of the plants are real. That is a real tree, those are real tulips in a real flowerbox, those are real vines wrapped around the bedpost, the vines making the leaf canopy are also real. Even the vines pinning the leaf canopy back are real, though those are a cutting rather than being grown live like everything else.
-There is a sun lamp above the bed to sustain the leaf canopy. just don't ask how Janus waters it.
-The tea set is one of the first things Virgil gave to Janus. He's made another since then, a better one, but Janus still keeps the old one on display for sentimental value. And it is display, they hardly ever have tea in his room anymore.
-Janus' blankets are always super soft and super fluffy, and somehow always warm like you just took them out of the dryer.
Remus - Logic
-That entire wall is a chalkboard. He painted it with chalkboard paint, there's still a little bit on his lab coat. Virgil drew the tentacles when they were body doubling in Remus' room a few days ago.
-His bed can fold up into the wall, just in case an experiment gets particularly messy.
-The beakers aren't always actually running an experiment. Sometimes Remus just runs colored water through them so it looks like it's doing something.
-That on the table is Remus' fifth try at a squirrel-proof bird feeder. He doesn't mind the squirrels eating too, it's purely an intellectual exercise. Trying to outsmart another smart creature.
-There next to the table is Shelly, short for Michelle, she is a skeleton. There is also Michael, a male skeleton, and Derek, a male pelvis.
-Remus likes to use a yoga ball in place of a chair because he can bounce around on it, or bounce mostly in place. He will also accept office chairs, because they both roll and spin and that's fun. Sometimes when waiting for an experiment to progress, he'll see how many times he can spin in an office chair with one kick.

Here’s the Planetouched Secret Satan 2025, first of its kind, and nineteenth edition overall! We have been revamping the themes as of late, and we decided to combine the old Tiefling event with the Aasimar and Genasi one into a catch-all event. (We're pretty loose on what counts as a planetouched. A Kalashtar? Go put them in. I love kalashtar-) And this isn't just for DnD ancestries, there's far more included (for the Pathfinder2e folk, here’s now the time to get your weirder characters in! I wanna see Aphorites! Duskwalkers!)
The PTSS2025 is an art trading event that follows the Secret Santa model, focused on TTRPG characters. This edition is all about characters that have extraplanar influence, and it doesn't need to be DnD/Pf2e specific. You've got angels? Demons? Elementals? You're all set! The event is focused on visual art (mainly 2D, but 3D is also allowed!).
You can enter the event by filling up this form. You can find all the rules in it too. The inscriptions are open from today, 17 of October, up until 24 of October, with it included. You will need to submit your piece on the 25 of October.

It's been a long while since we had one of these, but finally, the Fae and Elven Secret Satan 2025 is here! We decided to change the topics this year a bit, and this event is replacing the Drow Secret Satan- We thought that a theme expansion would be apt!
The FESS2025 is an art-trading event following the Secret Santa format, with a focus on TTRPG OCs. In this case, we're all about elves, faeries, and all-things fae-related. Dryads? Put them in. Your satyrs come from the fey realm? Put that one in. Was your blorbo changed by some pact with an archfae? Honorary fae to us, put them in! We welcome all sorts of visual artists- While most of us are mostly 2D illustrators, animations, sculpting, 3d stuff and such is all welcome!
To enter, you can fill this form. It also has all the rules for the event. The inscriptions will be open from today, 5 of August, to up to 11 of August, and we will be sending the mails on 12 of August. Pieces are due for 3 of September.

And so, it finally begins. My first ever attack, 11 days into the month. Starting off strong with a multiattack! Total of 194 points despite being only friendly fires. A lot of things I would have done differently, but hey, maybe I can redraw it another year. I'm happy to start out on such a strong foot!
