Hail Hekate Ophioplokamos,

Nether, nocturnal, and infernal queen.

You who devour meals amid the graves,

You who drink blood, bringing death and destruction,

You who resound grief, feasting on hearts,

Necessity- hard to escape are you.

With scales of serpents you are dark,

With hair of serpents, coils of writhing snakes,

Flaming, serpent-girded mistress

Dressed in snakes, O flesh-eating Drakaina!

May your torch-flame bring light and warmth,

May your wisdom guide the stony path,

May your grace bless the holy abodes,

I lift up your names,

I sing your praise,

And offer you my devotions.
