I might sound miserable most of the time but at my core I’m a very hopeful person

upon looking more into myself i realize that i might be self-centered.

in my formative years, the one insult i can remember stinging more than most of the verbal/physical abuse i went through, was being called selfish.

it makes my stomach just drop and it makes the back of my nose going up to my eyes burn with such guilt it makes me nauseous.

i feel so guilty, because i never want to be selfish. but somehow i always end up making it about me.
