Youâre alright | Fred weasley x reader
Pairings: Fred weasley x animagus!reader
Summary: After getting attacked by a death eater, you rush heavily injured to the only place your subconsciousnes trusts: The weasley burrow.
Warnings: description of Blood, Injury, Angst/comfort, Reader is a bird animagus,
Word count: idk
Your lungs stung and your vision blurred as you tried to hold your body in the air.
Chest heaving as every messy flap of your wings caused a sharp sting to jolt through your body.Â
You couldnât even properly make out where you were even heading. Could only rely on your body which seemed to know where to go.Â
Your deep wounds seemed to develop their own, rapid heartbeat as thick droplets of blood left a faint trace behind you.
You didnât know how long you flew, only that you would probably faint if you didnât go fast enough.
Then, as you dragged your gaze forward, you could feel slight relief wash over you when you saw the tall, familiar house coming closer.Â
The weasley burrow.Â
Practically your second home.Â
In front of it, on the green grass, stood two figures. Tall, short ginger hair and wide smiles.Â
Fred and George were messing around with their newest invention, obviously enjoying their summer holidays.
Burt Fredâs laughter got quieter when he noticed the single, not too small, bird darting towards them. Movement frantic.
His eyebrows knitted together as he watched your animagus shape approaching rather quickly, breath hitching.Â
George quickly noticed his sudden confusion and followed his gaze towards you.
âIs that..?â, George mumbled, stepping beside his brother who squinted his eyes.
âThatâs Y/nâŠâ, Fred realized, his stomach twisting in unease. He immediately sensed that something was off.
You were a rather elegant flier, always gliding through the sky as if it was yours. but this wasnât elegant. This was frantic, panicking.
His eyes widened as he started to take a few steps backwards, âShe isnât slowing downâŠâ
He was right, you werenât. You didnât have the strength to dampen your speed, just squinting your eyes more with every meter you crossed.
Then, as it your body knew that you reached your destination, your wings gave out. Your muscles suddenly softening as you fell.
âShit!â, Fred cursed and started to run. George following as he watched your bird figure thundering past them.
CRASHÂ
Your body crashed through a tall window, feeling how the glass dug into your flesh right before you collided with the hard surface of the floor.
A scream came in response to your sudden appearance and you could just faintly tell that it must be ginny.Â
âY/N!â, Fred barged in through the door, looking around before he spotted you. Blood pouring out of your wounds and onto the ground.
behind him, George shouted, âMOM! DAD!â
You could barely hold your eyes open when you saw how Fred crouched down beside you, eyes wide in horror as his hands hovered over your small body. Heâs trembling.Â
âGeorge! What- Oh merlinâŠâ, Mollys voice muttered, her confusion switching to shock as she saw you.Â
The weasleys knew of you being an animagus, after all it wasnât easy to hide if you spend most of your time with them.Â
Arthur was the first to find it back then, and now when he saw you here, bleeding out on their floor, he could only stare in shock.
âFred!â, Molly said, making her son look up as he didnât know what to do. He was obviously in a state of shock.
A sharp, pained sound escaped your break before you scratched your last energy together and started to shift back into your human form.
It hurt, a lot. And after the feathers retreated and your wings grew into arms, you could only cry out.
ây/nâŠâ, Ginnys voice trembled, hands covering her mouth before George hugged her, avoiding her gaze.
âWhat happened?!â, Arthur asked, Molly rushing to your other side.Â
âI-I donât k-know! she just- crashed down.â, Fred chocked out, tears welling up just slightly.
You couldnât move. Didnât want to move. The pain too overwhelming for you to handle.Â
You couldnât see your wounds, but you felt them. And there were deep.Â
Throbbing pain in your side, leg and shoulder.Â
A wet, thick liquid reached your fingers. Blood. Your blood. A dark crimson, red in the sun light pouring through the destroyed window.
a chocked sob escaped from your throat and your eyes found Fredâs. âFredâŠâ, you mumbled, barely loud enough for him to hear. But he did.
âFred! Hey!â, Molly said, putting a hand on his face to make him look up. âI need you to carry her.â
He stared for just a second, nodding before itâd take too long.
You bit your lip as you squinted your eyes, feeling his hands touch the crook of your neck and knees.Â
You cried out when he tried to lift you up.Â
âH-Hey, itâs alright.â, he quickly said, guys worried eyes not leaving your face. âYou will be alright.â
âIt hurtsâŠâ, you chocked, chest heaving as you looked up at him.
âI know baby, I know.â, you wouldâve smiled at the nickname, but given the situation all you could do was sob. âI need you to work with me, okay?â
you nodded, taking a deep, shaky breath before biting down on your teeth.
Pain striking through your body as Fred lifted you up with ease. ââs all good, You are doing great.â, he breathed, carrying you with him as he followed molly and arthur through the house.
You felt as if you would rip apart any second now, Skin split from the cuts and numbing pain from bruises forming on your skin.
You tried to suppress another cry as you were put down on a solid Area, Fredâs warm hands leaving you too fast for your liking.
You didnât want to seem weak, tried to somehow steady your shallow breathing. But it didnât work.Â
You were scared.Â
Scared to die from too much blood loss.
Fred didnât feel any different, hands trembling as he put them on either side of your face, cradling it as if he could soothe the pain with it.
You sobbed again, âFred-â
âIâm here, itâs okay.â, he reassured you, watching as his mother scanned your body and clothes, quickly detecting your wounds.
âArthur.â, Molly muttered, glancing towards her husband who put all the needed first aid stuff beside her. He nodded knowingly, giving you a reassuring look before heading towards the door.
Molly then turned to her son, âFred?â
âI will stay.â. he responded immediately, scared that his mother might want him to leave.Â
He couldnât. Couldnât leave you alone like this.Â
âOkay, keep her calm.â
Fred nodded, looking at you as if he could feel your pain too.Â
Molly started by rolling up your shirt, far enough so she could see the wind at your right flank. You sobbed again, scared of the pain that would come with the Medicalisation.
Your eyes darted, squirming away from the cloth that molly would use to wipe away the blood.
âY/n⊠look at me.â, Fred said, turning your face back to him and forcing you to look into his big, wet eyes. Heâs crying. Not as hard as you but enough for one tear to slip.
âJust look at me okay?â
You nodded hesitantly, biting your lip again.
They pain was awful, your fear even more. You didnât want to go through the torture of taking care of your wounds.
But even as strong pressure was put on your wounds in order to stop the bleeding or as the sharp needle stitched them closed, you could only see Fred.
His caring eyes and warm hands seemed to ground you enough so youâd survive the pain long enough until Molly could say âsheâs stableâ.
He was your anchor.
____
Fredâs heart pounded in his chest, his leg bouncing up and down as he crossed his arms. Gaze fixed on a distant spot on the ground.
His hair was messy and his eyes a little red from crying. He was biting down on his thumb nail, hoping that it would help with his nervousness.
âYouâre gonna lose a thumb if you kept pulling at it like that.â
He flinched, just a little, and met the look of his twin.
George fell into the couch beside him, grin disappearing as he worried for his brother. For you.
âHow is she?â, he asked, making Fred sigh.
âStable.â, Fred answered, ânot bleeding out anymore.â
The words felt bitter on his tongue. She bled.Â
A sharp breath escaped through his nose, hand lowering back down into the cross if his arms.
âShe fainted shortly after mom started treating her last wound.â, he continued, a shiver running down his back, âMom said she needs rest.â
So Fred didnât complain when his mother finally forced him out of the room.Â
âWhat even happened?â, George asked, clearly shocked himself.Â
Fred leaned forward, elbows on his knees. âI donât knowâŠâ
I canât beieve I wasnât thereâŠÂ He thought, eyes closing.
He could speak of luck that you survived it. Yet alone made it to the burrow on your own.
A laugh escaped his mouth, though it held no humor. âSheâs so fucking strong.â
George could only nodd. âYou donât say.â
âWill she be alright?â, another voice asked, making the twins look up to look at Ginny. Her eyes were red too, nervously fiddling with her hands as she approached her brothers.
Fred was silent for a second, anxiety curling in his chest like a snake.
Then, he smiled. âOf course she will be okay.â, he answered then, hugging Ginny as she sat down beside him. âYou know how strong she is.â
Ginny nodded, a small, hopeful smile spreading on her face.
Ron wasnât there with them at this hour, being somewhere outside with Hermione and Harry.
Fred felt like every breath strung. His heart pounding too loud, too fast. Others would think heâd faint right then and there.
But he didnât. Could only think of your chocked sobs and pained eyes.
It hurt. The thought of you being hurt like that. How you had to go through all that alone.
And yet you did it. And he canât believe how strong you are for it.Â
And still, he had to throw up after his mother made him leave. Your blood on his hands and arms from where he had touched you.
By merlin he hoped you will be okay.
____
It took two whole days until you woke up again. Your body gasping greedily for air and your eyes darting open.
You tried to sit up. Wanting to defend yourself from whatever threats you had faced. But the pain ripping through your body made you fall back into the cushions. Making you groan.
âHey, everythingâs alright.â, A way too familiar voice spoke quickly, making you look to your right.
âFredâŠâ, you mumbled, breath hitching as you saw his worried face. âWhereâŠâ
âYou are at the burrow. You are safe.â, he quickly responded to your half silent question. your eyebrows noted together in confusion, buy quickly exchanged with recognition as you remembered.
âIâm safe.â
Fred nodded, smiling a little as he sat up from the chair beside the bed you laid in. His bed, to be specific.Â
âYes.â
All the tension from your body left a little more after the passing of every second, your eyes closing in exhaustion.
Fredâs hand lowered down onto your cheek, his thumb brushing over the small cut in your cheekbone which came from the collision with the window.
âDo you want to tell me what happened?â, fred asked after a moment of comfortable silence, seeing your nose flare before shaking your head.
âNot yetâŠâ, you answered, looking at him. He looked so handsome like this. messy hair, freckled skin and the sun hitting his eyes just right.
You smiled, leaning into the touch of his hand.Â
âIâm so glad I made itâŠâ, you mumbled, not wanting to think of a universe in which you wouldâve probably died from blood loss on your way here.
Fred nodded, just as relieved as you were. âMe too.â
Silence spread again, laying over you like a blanket of silent reassurance. It wasnât uncomfortable. It was never when you two were alone.
One of the things you adored the most in your relationship.Â
âI should get you something to drink.â, Fred then muttered, letting his hand slip from your skin to rise to his full height.
Your eyes widened just a little at that, your hand darting out just in time for you to catch Fredâs wrist.
âFredâŠâ
He turned to look at you, eyebrows risen in worry as he looked down at you. âYes?â
You couldnât find your words in that second, thoughts and memories from the earliest incident still messy in your head.Â
You looked down, heat crawling up your neck. âCould youâŠâ, you started, trying not to sound like a needy toddler. âS-Stay? With me?â
Fred could only smile, his hand replacing his wrist in your grip. âOf course I will.â, He said, kissing your knuckles before moving again. âBut first, you need water.â
And he was right. Your throat felt like a desert.
So, after Fred brought you a glass of water and something to eat, he rounded the bed and sat down. The mattress dipping just slightly under his weight.Â
You slowly turned, facing him as he laid down, his arms wrapping around your figure. Careful and slow so he wouldnât accidentally hurt you.
Normally, you wouldâve said something like âIâm not made out if glass, you knowâ or âPlease Fred, Iâm stronger than you think.â
But this time, you chose to let him. Let him cradle you as if you were his greatest treasure. Which you are.
And as you breathed in his soft scent and but your hand over his chest to feel his heartbeat, you chose to bask in the moment.Â
He didnât have to know the story of how you got injured yet. That was a problem for later. Now, all you wanted to do was feel his presence. His love you so deeply shared.
âI love Freddie.â, you whispered, closing your eyes as his arms pulled you closer. He pressed a kiss to your scalp.
âI love you too.â

Frustrated Rut | Katsuki Bakugo x reader
Pairing: Alpha!Katsuki Bakugo x Beta!reader
Summary: When Bakugo goes into his rut and desperately tries to smell Omega pheromoneâs on you even though you are a Beta
Warnings: Omegaverse, dry humping, suggestiveness, fluff, clingy Bakugo, needy Bakugo, aged-up Bakugo, prob ooc
Authors Note: I wrote this like a year ago on ao3 and it did well so Iâm posting it here too lol, I lowk donât fw omegaverse a lot but ts was inspired by a tiktok so yeh
word count: idk
you have never been insecure about the fact you were a beta. You were actually pretty glad.
You didnât have to worry about sudden heats, or ruts. About Alphas trying to mate while youâre just trying to go to the store. About covering scent glands or surpressing a heat so you could go outside.
The only thing you worried about was, that you might never find a partner.
Like, never. Not in a million years.
Thatâs why youâre so unbelievably happy when you and Katsuki confessed to each other.
youâve been a couple for almost a year now and life never had been better.
You still couldnât believe he liked you, he was an Alpha after all. A very proud one to be specific. But youâre not complaining.
But youâve always been unsure if you could give him what he needed.
Youâre not an Omega after all.
âIâm home!â, you exclaimed, stepping through the door of your apartment. Katsuki was staying over since his parents were on vacation at the same time your mother was away, and neither of you wanted to stay alone.
It was the perfect chance to spend time together.
You put the groceries down, raising an eyebrow when you didnât get a response. âKatsuki?â, you asked, curiosity filling your voice.
No answer, still.
You were getting worriedâquickly slipping out of your shoes and jacket before searching the house.
He wasnât in the kitchen or in the living room, so you went upstairs to check the rooms there. The bathroom was empty, just like the guest room where he was normally sleeping.
You always liked the idea of seperate rooms, because in case you get into a fight, both of you had your own spaces instead of having to share one room.
And if you ever felt like sleeping together, youâd have sleepovers.
âKatsu?â, You asked again, opening the door to your room. And, to your surprise, he was actually there.
The slight panic immediately fell from your shoulders, glad that he wasnât missing. But the worry somehow didnât leave.
You could see and hear his heavy breathing, his arms were wrapped around your body pillow and the pair of grey sweat pants you liked so much was the only thing he wore.
âKatsuki?â, You whispered as you reached the bed, trying to get a good look at his face.
When you raised a hand and brushed a few strands of his hair to the side, his body tensed, gripping the pillow tighter and grimacing just slightly.
He was awake, thatâs what you now knew, and the slight warmth coming from him didnât go unnoticed.
âBaby are you sick?â, You asked, placing your palm on his forehead. He was warm, hot even.
A groan left his throat and his red eyes opened at the touch.
The side gaze he gave you send a shiver down your spine. They were half lidded, red burning like fire and something else.
You sighed, âIâll get u something to drink.â
But when you wanted to turn around and leave the room again, a hand grabbed your wrist, keeping you from moving.
âKaââ, You gasped at the sudden pull at your arm, yanking you onto the bed in the blink of an eye.
Your back collapsed with the soft mattress and your head fell into the thick pillows with a low thumb. You felt the boy shift beside you, saw how he rose from his lying position in an instant to bend over your own body.
You gulped when his eyes locked onto yours. Immediately realizing that he was in fact, not sick.
He was in his rut.
A heavy breath left his chest and he lowered himself down until he was pressing your body down with his.
A blush crept up on your face as you felt his hard cock brushing against your thigh.
Your boyfriend groaned again, whispering out your name as his Temple pressed against yours.
âWhen did it start?â, You asked, voice low as he kissed along your jawline.
â30 minutes after you leftâŠâ, he pressed out the answer with a slight whimper. âCame crushing down on me like a fucking waterfall.â
A growl rippled through his chest and his head suddenly dipped, his nose burying in the crook of your neck. I heard him inhale deeply, felt his tongue on my skin and you pressed your eyes shut.
You could feel him thereâwhere your scent glands wouldâve been if you werenât a betaâand felt how he tried to catch just the slightest smell of a scent.
A scent you didnât have.
âKatsuâŠâ, You mumbled, biting your bottom lip as he kept on desperately searching for the pheromones.
You hated it.
Not the way Katsuki was all over you, no. But the fact that you didnât have what he was searching for.
And in moments like these, you suddenly hated being a beta.
Katsuki started to lift his body up again, his head not leaving your neck. He supported himself with his knees and elbows, sliding an arm underneath your back.
Forget it, you thought, Itâll be fine
you wrapped your arms around his neck, burying one of your hands in his hair.
Just forget it
A whine escaped Katsuki, it wasnât loud enough for someone from outside the door to hear it. His frustration mirrored in his movements.
Still licking and smelling your neck as his hips humped against yours, trying to get enough satisfaction through his pants and your clothes as possible.
The tip of his Cock rubbing at your clit, promising something filthy.
âShit, Baby.â, He grunted, moving back to rub his temple against yours. âI need you.â
You would lie if you said you werenât turned on by his behaviour. âYouâre soâneedy when youâre in your rut.â, you breathed, grinning at him.
He grit his teeth, not stopping his dry humping against you as you felt his cock getting harder.
âFuck, I am.â

His first priority | Maul opress x reader
Pairing: Maul Opress x Pregnant!reader
Summary: As you wait with Maulâyour partnerâand his syndicate for the ship that would get you off planet, something else causes a delay
warnings: Angst/comfort, fluff, Reader is like a few months pregnant, protective Maul, Soft Maul, kinda ooc Maul, Reader is a former Jedi, Violence, fighting, choking (not the fun way)
authors note: I normally hate pregnancy stuff but I couldnât help but daydream ts so Iâm making it a one shot
word count: idk
Never would you have thought that youâd be a sithâs partner one day.
That this very sith was Maul Opress and that youâd built a weird little life with him.
And now, as you stood on the platform from which a ship is supposed to get you off planet, your heart beat quickened just slightly while your hand rested on your slightly swelled belly.
A shiver ran down your spine at the thought of the life growing inside you and you closed your eyes, feeling the unease creep up your chest.
Now that the Empire is here, it isnât safe to stay on Janix anymore, especially for you. As a former Jedi and soon to be mother whose partner is no other than Darth Maul, things are getting heated.
Your other hand fidgeted with the lightsaber on your hip, tracing the marks that came from years of fighting.
âSomething is bothering you.â
His deep voice made you look up. Maulâs eyes were trained on your face but they eventually flicked down to the hand on your belly.
You clearly remember the day you found outâboth of youâand the relief that washed over you when he didnât abandon you because of it had been the thread you were holding onto for the past few months.
Maul could easily sense your stress through your shared force bond.
âIâm worried, Maul.â, you whispered, watching as the mandalorians carried their stuff onto the platform.
When you felt his consciousness brushing at your through the force, you let him in. Let him read your mind because that was easier than trying to put your worries into words.
His hand reached out from behind his back and slowly put it over yours, head tilting just slightly. âThere is no need for your fear.â, he spoke, voice as calm as ever.
You grimaced, opening your mouth to say something when your throat suddenly tightened. The words died on your tongue, gasping for air when the invisible force grip cut it off.
Your eyes widened, realizing what was happening.
Your hands shot up, clawing at your neck in desperation.
Maul realized just as quickly as you did. His hands shot up to cradle your head, looking around frantically to search for the cause.
Meanwhile, dots started to blur your vision, tears forming in your eyes. âMaulââ, you choked, staring at him in horror.
Then, Maulâs yellow eyes locked onto a figure far behind you, a growl bubbling out of his chest as he grabbed his lightsaber and threw it at the cloaked figure.
It was suffocating, you believed that youâd pass out right then and there when you suddenly heard the clash of lightsabers.
The grip ariund your throat disappeared almost immediately.
You collapsed, feeling Maulâs firm grip around your arm to slow your fall as he catched his lightsaber again.
Gasping for air, you felt your body going weak, âMaulâŠâ
âDonât move.â, he spoke quickly, worrying about your current state, but there was no time, the Inquisitor attacked.
Maul stood as close to you as possible, shielding you with his body and his saber.
You only heard pieces of their conversation.
âLook at you.â, The Inquisitor spat, jumping forward to strike his lightsaber to your head but Maul was faster. He blocked the lightsaber with his own only inches away from your head.
The warm red spread over your skin.
âAttached to someone like that.â, Tge Inquisitor looked down at you and your lightsabers, scoffing under his mask.
âHow deep did you fall.â
Maul growled in response, pushing him back with the force while moving protectively infront of you again. âI did not fall.â, he defended himself and you, âIâm not sitting at his feet like a lost puppy following orders.â
That mustâve angered the Inquisitor because he charged forward once again, faster this time.
Your frantic gasping turned into heavy, controlled breathing as you tried to collect yourself, your hands cradling your belly.
Then, the force sparked.
âNo!â
Within seconds your lightsaber shot into your right hand, the blade whirring to life as it glowed a bright (l/c).
You pulled it above your head, deflecting the red lightsaber just in time as it threatened to cut off your head.
You grit your teeth, letting out a muffled scream as you stared up at the Inquisitor.
âJedi.â, his hiss was low and dangerous.
Maul pulled himself back up onto the platform. He almost slipped off it when the Inquisitor shoved him away with the force.
He was more than reliefed to see that your skills and instincts as a Jedi were something to rely on, otherwise he never wouldâve forgiven himself leaving you defenseless like that in your current state.
When the Inquisitor started to shift his weight, you reached out, pulling your second lightsaber into your free hand with the force and ignited it before your opponent could stop you.
Then, you hissed, striking it into his unguarded leg which caused him to stumble and jump back.
âGet lost.â, you mumbled strained, breathing hard as you kept your eyes on him, ready to defend yourself again if needed.
But Maul was faster than the Inquisitor in front of you. He was just a blur of black and white when he rushed past you, right at the enemy with fresh rage bubbling in his chest.
He overwhelmed the cloaked man with powerful strikes that didnât leave time for himself to attack.
âMy Lady!â, Rook exclaimed, voice slightly panicked as she rushed over to you. âAre you alright?â
You didnât react right away, just watched as your partner completely overpowered his enemy.
âIâm okay.â, you said then, letting the blades of your lightsabers retreat and putting them back to your hip. âBe so nice and help me up.â
It didnât take long for the Inquisitor to turn around and flee, knowing that he couldnât physically compete with Maul and his own injured leg.
âCoward.â, Rook just spat as she watched, her grip around your arm firm to do as you asked. âYou got a good hit at him.â
You huffed, straightening as you stood on your feet again. âI guessâŠâ
Within seconds, Maul stood at your side once again, shooting Rook a quick glance before taking in her position. âAre you alright?â
The corner of your mouth quirked up, not really in the mood to answer the same question twice, but you did anyway. âIâm alright. Thank you.â
For a second too long, Maul searched your face. Trying to find any sign of visible lie or strain in your features. âMaul.â, you spoke, stepping closer and putting a light hand on his chest. âIâm alright.â
Maul nodded after a second of hesistance, eye twitching as he saw purple bruises bloom on your throat just above the neck of your robe.
His hand rose, his fingers faintly touching your neck as he let the force flow through you, healing the bruises as much as he could.
âWe will have to get you to a healer.â
You couldnât disagree, after all you knew how bad the injury must look. Not to forget that the moment of missing air couldâve caused damage to the growing life inside you.
Even if that wasnât the first thing Maul worried about.
Because he always thought about you. His first priority.
And nothing would ever change that.

warnings: Soft Satoru, Yandere Satoru, possesive Satoru, shy!reader (kinda), Nickname âbabyâ, gore (kinda), blood, stabbing, knifes, no nsfw (yet),

You sighed when you looked at your datapad. the word Crewmate lit up your face in a blue glow. Your hands trembled just slightly as you put the datapad back into the pocket of your spacesuit, grabbing your helmet from the table of your room.Â
Before leaving your room, you adjusted your accessories, getting your trembling under control as you did. âLetâs go then.â, you muttered, stepping out of the open door of your room and towards the cafeteria. Your helmet already on your head.
You didnât even dare to look at your other crewmates as everyone stood around the main table of the cafeteria. Well, the eleven other crewmates and the remaining 3 Impostors.
Then, the game started and everyone started moving. You yourself quickly seperated yourself from the others, moving towards the MedBay where youâd start to check the samples. If only there wasnât already standing someone at the monitor.
You gasped lowly, surprised that you werenât alone. After all, you couldâve sworn everyone headed to Admin to swipe their cards.Â
âWhoa hey!â, your crewmate called out, voice bright and positive, stopping you from turning around and leaving. You froze.Â
Whiteâs bright blue eyes looked at you through his visor, grinning his usual grin. Satoru Gojo. He was a very good Teammate, at least, when heâs on your side.Â
âHiâŠâ, you mumbled, forcing a cautious smile as you felt yourself moving towards him.Â
âI was just about to do my scan! Mind watching?â, He spoke, his gloved fingers moving over the keyboard of the monitor.
Your eyebrows furrowed, realizing that maybe he was one of you if he asked to watch his scan.
Or heâs gonna kill me while watching him
You hated that possibility, knowing that you basically had no choice than to do as he says. âSure, step forward.â, You nodded, seeing his grin widen as he jumped on the pad.Â
You watched, your nervousness turning into relief when you saw the green scan move over his body and recording all his data on the monitor behind him. âThank god.â, you sighed, shoulders slumping. âYou are clear.â
âWhat, worried Iâd backstab you?â, Gojo joked, stepping down from the pad the second the scan finished, but his grin faltered when he realize the joke didnât stick.
âRightâŠâ, he said, scratching the back of his head through his suit. âWell, If you want⊠We can stick together.â
You listened up at his words, trying to find a lie in his bright blue eyes, but there was none. And why shouldnât you trust him if he just cleared himself?
âSure.â
So you sticked together. Moving side by side through the space ship as you worked on your tasks.Â
Your nerves were on edge, unease growing with every body that got reported and discussed about. You found yourself more times in the cafeteria for a meeting instead of the places you had to go for your tasks.
Beside you, Satoru was re-filling the lower engine with gasoline, strong arms holding the can as the display showed the fill status.Â
While he let out a few curses and grunts, you stood silently. Fidgeting with your fingers as you waited for him to finish. You knew that eventually the Impostors would get to you soon, now that the crew lowered in size.Â
Satoru seemed to notice your unease, looking at you with a flicker of worry in your eyes. âHey.â, He spoke, setting the can down on the ground.Â
Your eyes flicked back to him.Â
âYou good?â
The question caught you off guard. The worry in his eyes caused a warm feeling to crawl up your chest. But still, you shook your head. âNot really.â
Satoru rose back to his full height, towering over you. âListen.â, he said, stepping closer and putting a hand on your shoulder. âWeâre gonna survive this, It is only a matter of time until the last two impostors make a mistake and we throw them out.â
Your eyes darted from his to the ground and back to him again, taking a deep breath. âAre you sure?â, you mumbled, hearing him snort. âOf course I am, baby. And if not Iâm gonna protect you myself.â
His nickname for you made your heart beat faster in your chest, making your cheeks flush. You just laughed, daring to lean into him just slightly which made his eyes widen in surprise. But you didnât see. You just focused on the beat of his heart through his suit and managed to calm your nerves.Â
âAlright.â
Eventually, your crew managed to throw the two lasting impostors out after they had tried a double kill in communications, leaving you to win with 5 lasting crew members.Â
It wasnât the best number, after all you lost more people than you saved, but you were glad that you made it out alive. Just as Gojo did.Â
âYou did great, by the way.â, you smiled shyly, tugging at the white colored sleeve of Gojos space suit. He looked down at you, helmet tucked under his arm as he grinned widely. âYou did too! Finished your tasks way quicker than I did.â
Yeah, you were quick when it came to solving your tasks. A fact you liked a lot. âThanksâŠâ
Slowly, the number of people rose again, reaching the full fifteen in only a few minutes. The roles would be assigned soon which meant you needed to head back to your room.Â
When the white haired male started to turn to do just that, you raised your voice again.
âOh and Gojoââ
But you didnât get to finish.Â
âCall me Satoru.â
It caught you off guard, but you still smiled when you realised what it meant. Friends. âOkay, Satoru.â, you nodded, âSee you soon.â
Or maybe you felt a little more for your white crewmate
Just like always, your hands trembled when you held your datapad. Not knowing what to hope for as you waited for your new role. You donât know what you hated more, the numbing fear of dying as a crewmate, or the weird feeling of violence and adrenaline spreading through your veins as impostor.
I wonder what role Satoru will get
The thought lingered in the back of your mind, making you bite down on your bottom lip. Over the past round, you started to become attached to him. Maybe you shouldnât, knowing that all of it could end with the swing of a knife, but you just canât help it.Â
The way Satoru carried himself calmed you. His effortless jokes and the kind positive energy that surrounded him made you forget your pounding heart. Not to forget that he was insanely attractive.Â
Once again, the word Crewmate made your face light up blue and a sigh escaped you, relief washing over you especially when the following role was Engineer. That meant you had way more possibilities than just running around and finishing your tasks.
But what about Satoru then?Â
You wondered, furrowing your eyebrows before you pulled on your helmet and put the datapad in your pocket. You took a deep breath, flexing your hands.Â
Iâm gonna figure something out
When you stood at the cafeteria table once again, you let your gace wander. Feeling a little more confident than last time, especially when you saw the same white space suit of Satoru who stood a few spots beside you.
You smiled, wanting to wave at him but didnât when he kept his visor pointed on the table surface. Your head tilted in suspicion and worry at once.
Maybe he just doesnât want to draw attention?
A poor excuse, even for you. But you didnât question further, only waiting until you could start moving.
A few seconds, then you knew you could go, turning towards Satoru and attempting to walk to him, but your vision was crowded by the other crewmates making their way through the cafeteria in a chaotic but somehow orderly move.
After that, you were alone in the Cafeteria. Completely alone.Â
Satoru nowhere to be seen.
He probably went with the others to swipe his cardâŠ
Which he, in fact, did. But not how you imagined it.Â
Just like always, you headed in the direction of the medbay first.
Iâm gonna look for him later
Which you did. After fixing the Wires in Storage and downloading the data from the ship on your datapad, you rushed inside the vent of Admin, crawling in the direction of the Navigation cockpit.Â
These are so tight⊠How do the impostors move so fast through theseâŠÂ
You questioned, groaning as you climbed back out in the cockpit. You were surprised to see lime there, hunched over the desk to redirect the direction of our ship. Normally, you wouldnât even approach, but you knew Lime was clear. After all he helped you clear the asteroids earlier.
You quickly closed the lid again, looking around to fix the wires there when you heard Lime raise his voice. âglad to see youâre still alive.â, he grinned, looking at you over his shoulders as he finished his task.Â
You nodded. âYeah, same.â
He was shorter than Satoru, but bulkier in size, probably a gym person before he got here. You couldnât really make out his face because of his cracked visor, but you didnât have to.Â
âIf we make it outta here alive, wanna go grab a coffee with me?â, he asked then, making you raise your eyebrows. You knew Lime showed some kind of interest in you, but didnât realize that it was that type of interest.
You cleared your throat, not knowing what to say. Especially because you had not even the tiniest bit of interest in the man in front of you. âWeâll see.â, you smiled then, watching him grin before he heads out into the hallway.
What a weirdo
You thought amused, shaking your head as you finished fixing the wires when you suddenly heard voices in the hallway down towards shields.
One of them being unmistakably Satorus.Â
Your eyes lit up, a smile growing on your face as you moved towards the voices. And there he was. Tall, lean, arms loose at his sides as he talked to Lime.Â
âSatoru!â, You exclaimed, but obviously not loud enough because Satoru didnât react. The only thing you saw him do was how his hand slowly moved into his pocket, pulling something out that wasnât his datapad.
âWhatâŠâ, you mumbled, steps faltering as an uneasy feeling clawed at your chest. Everything happened tok fast after that.
The light of the hallway reflected on the knife in Satorus hand which was raised high, coming down in an inhuman speed.
The sickening sound of flesh being torn apart echoed from the walls.
Blood splashed into the air and painted Satorus space suit red.
His victim didnât even get the chance to scream as he stabbed his knife into his body several times in a row, the body landing on the ground with a thud.
You gasped and clasped your hands over your mouth in shock.Â
Your body trembled.
But this time, you were too loud. Watching as Satoru turned towards you in his blood stained space suit, the eyes behind his visor dark and dangerous.Â
You couldnât read his face. Didnât know how much time he needed until he could kill again.Â
You only knew that you didnât want to believe it.
Tears started to fill your eyes, your body freezing from the shock of what youâd just witnessed.
Then, when Satoru took a few steps forward, you moved back, tripping over your own feet and landing on the ground. âSatoruâŠâ, you choked, voice trembling just like your body did as you scrambled back.Â
He stopped just slightly, his face twisting into a somewhat sorry expression. But the blood covered knife still stayed in his hand as he moved again. âBabyâŠâ, he said, his voice filled with pity.Â
âNo, donât come near me.â, You gasped, but your back hit the wall, preventing you to move any further.
Midway, Satoru came to his knees, almost Crawling his way to you. âBaby Iâm sorry.â, he said with a voice youâd use for children⊠Or Partners who were mad at you for not saying I love you back.
The Blood dripped down onto the ground, leaving a trail where Satoru was moving towards you until he stopped right in front of you. His eyes were the ones of a murderer, yes, but what he felt towards you wasnât bloodlust.
It was devotion. Dangerous devotion.Â
The one that screamed at you to stay away if you wanted to life a peaceful life but also pulled you in at the same time.Â
You couldnât help but cry. Cry out of fear as you stared into Satorus beautiful, darkened eyes.
âI know, I know.â, Satoru whispered, hand reaching out and grabbing your hand. âBut you donât have to be scared.â
âIâ Donât kill me⊠Pleaseââ, It was just a breathy plead, something you wouldnât say out loud if you werenât so shocked.Â
âOh no.â, Satoru shook his head, âno, no, no.â, he pulled your trembling body to his, his hand at the back of your head as he pushed it against his chest. âDonât you remember what I said?â
You couldnât help but tremble harder, fear clouding your mind as you stared at the body that still layed dead on the ground of shields.Â
âIâm gonna protect you myself.â, he suddenly repeated his words, but the pity in his voice shifted into something darker. âAnd Iâm gonna kill everyone who dares to even look at you.â
Your breath hitched, placing your hands on his chest as you slowly pushed yourself away to look up into his face.Â
He was so different than the last time you saw him. The softness in his eyes had now a crazy edge and his aura went from kind to muderous.
âAfter all, thatâs what I did with Lime after he came out of Navigation.â, he growled with a grin that was too crazy for your liking.
âYou listened?â, you asked, eyes growing big.
âOf course I did baby.â, he grinned, âdonât think I left you alone this whole time.â
Thatâs when it hit you.Â
You didnât find him anywhere before this because he was with you this whole time.Â
He stalked you. Watched over you.Â
You didnât know if that was attractive or scary as fuck.
âDonât worry baby.â, Satoru spoke once again, pulling you out of your thoughts as he   leaned in closer, his grip around your body tightening. âIâm not gonna let them take you from me.â
âYouâre mine now.â
Coolest thing I ever saw
It's all right, it's all right

The dark, star sprinkled night sky was calm, silent and beautiful. Unlike the sea beneath it. The waves were relentless, heavy and strong as if there was something that stressed them.
In their middle, a Naâvi.Â
A young man that answered to the name Y/n. Short hair which was usually messy if it wasnât as wet as it was right now. His Body trembled, legs kicking and arms thrashing as he tried to keep himself at the surface.
But the sea was mercy less and everytime it forced his head back underwater, he made it back up with a panicked gasp.Â
The paint was starting to smudge on his greyish blue skin and his burning orange eyes darted around the area.Â
A loud screech catched his attention and his head whipped around only to see his Ikran just a few meters away from him, itâs wings flapping as it struggled to stay at the surface too.
âI/n!â, the Naâvi shouted, taking a deep breath before starting to swim towards him. Well, swim wasnât the best word to describe it. More like frantically moving his legs and arms until his body moved.
After all, He was mangkwan, he canât swim.Â
When he reached the panicking animal, he grabbed itâs snout and the rim of his saddle, showing that he was still there. Still alive.
Y/n panted, muscles visibly straining under his skin as he pulled himself halfway ontop of the saddle.Â
It took several minutes of holding on and waiting until the waves calmed, granting Y/n and his Ikran to calmly float through the water.Â
Eventually drifting off into a light sleep.
~
He woke to the warm sunrays on his skin, drying away the last remnants of water that had stayed on him after the sea had spat him out on the sore.
Y/n groaned, slowly opening his eyes before turning onto his stomach, supporting his weight with his arms.Â
His Ikran right beside him as he came to his senses.Â
He looked down at his body, noticing the deep wound that still hadnât stopped bleeding. The pain hadnât stopped either, still numbing his body a little.Â
The several other wounds on his body were nothing in comparison to that, only adding to his beat up look.Â
âThere!â, a sudden voice exclaimed and his head snapped up, watching as a group of Metkayina approached him.
Panic coiled in his chest, hissing as they approached. He quickly grabbed the knife that was attached to his lower back, holding it up in defense as he scrambled back.Â
The Metkayina slowed, but they didnât stop. They saw the wounds, knew that he wouldnât win a fight against the five of them.Â
One of the Metkayinas eyes narrowed at the sight of the Mangkwan, ears twitching when he saw how young he was.Â
He scanned the boy before giving the other metkayi a sign. âTake him with us back to the village.â, he spoke, voice steady. âWe will interrogate him later.â
The Naâvi nodded, two holding up their spears while the other two moved closer to the wounded Naâvi.
Y/n hissed again, trying to keep them off, but it was to no use. His Knife soon discarded somewhere in the sand and arms locked behind his back.Â
They just pulled him to his feet, dragging him with him back to the village while he protested loudly. Hissing and thrashing as they moved.Â
âAnd send someone to take care of his Ikran!â
~
Tsireyas ears perked up when she heard the sudden change in behavior from the Metkayina outside her Marui. âWhat is happening?â, Aonung asked too, moving towards the exit and sticking his head out.Â
Tsireya followed, curios of what was causing this restlessness. âI canât see anything!â, she huffed, jumping to her feet and walking toward the small crowd that had formed. Aonung closely behind her.
âThere!â, He exclaimed, pointing at something that Tsireya could not quite see yet. She pushed herself through the bystanding Naâvi, whispering quick excuses when they shot her a look.Â
âWh-â, She stopped immediately when she saw what everyone was looking at, eyes going wide.Â
There, in the sand in front of the Oloâeyktan, her father, kneeled a Man. A Boy. A Mangkwan. Two Metkayina at his side that held his wrists behind his back.
Messy, sandy hair fell into a pair of piercing orange eyes. Fangs bared in a scowl as he stared up at the Oloâeyktan. His body was strong, muscles straining beneath the hold of the Metkayina Naâvi while blood dripped out of wounds that seemed quite fresh.
The paint that was known for Mangkwan Naâvi was smudged, revealing patches of greyish blue skin. He wore a black loincloth together with several, slim belts out of leather that were wrapped loosely around his hips. His chest piece matched, leathern and decorated with red paint.Â
His Kuru was long, wrapped in red cloth just like his tail and feet.Â
He was incredibly handsome.
Tsireya couldnât help but stare. Stare at the boy who looked like he was only a few years older than herself.Â
âWhat is a Mangkwan doing here?â, Aonung muttered, but Tsireya payed him no mind. Not when they just hauled the boy up and started to drag him away.
He hissed again, rebelling against the Naâvis holds. His feet dug into the sand which barely helped as they just kept on dragging him with them.Â
Tsireyas breathing hitched when the boys eyes suddenly locked with hers. She could see the fury in them, the rage and anger. But there was also something different, something that screamed for life, fun and joy.
And still, Tsireya was afraid. Just a little. Because no matter how handsome he was, he was still mangkwan. Dangerous and mercyless.Â
He probably killed more Naâvi than she could count on one hand.Â
And with that thought, she watched him disappear behind the flaps of one of the empty Maruis they used for prisoners.
~
Y/n huffed when he was left alone in the almost empty Marui. Hands bound behind his back and body aching.Â
âYou will talk once we take care of you.âÂ
was what the Oloâeyktan had said. Looking him with a look he did not quite understand. Not kindness, but not hate either.
He could hear the two guards shift right outside the marui entrance.Â
He was captured. Alone. In the middle of a Metkayina clan.Â
The realization set in, making him groan in slight defeat while he let his head fall back. Heâd rather die than be captured. Especially when it was here out of all places.
~
âHe passed out not too long ago, but stay careful.â, Ronal spoke, looking into her daughters eyes with a serious look.
The Metkayina girl nodded. Not eagerly, even though she was eager. She actually couldnât wait to see the boy they had dragged here not too long ago, curious of how he looked up close.
Ronal gave the guards a quick look before pushing the Cloth, that worked as a curtain, aside and stepping in, Tsireya following close behind.
And Ronal was right, He had passed out. Arms bound behind his back while he leaned against the wall, head down, lolling to the side just slightly.Â
He looked calm like this, way calmer than what she had seen before. instead of his scrunched nose and bared fangs, the lines of his face were smooth and at ease.Â
Tsireya quickly set her basket down, crouching down and approaching the sleeping Naâvi on all fours.Â
âTsireya.â, Ronal warned, looking at her daughter out of the corner of her eyes. âI know you are curious, but be careful. Heâs dangerous.â
Tsireya looked at her mother, teeth biting down on her lower lip before her eyes looked back at the boy. He doesnât look dangerous like this, she thought.
But she did not disobey. Instead, she helped her mother as she tends to his wounds.Â
I wonder how he got them, She wondered, looking at the deep cut that went over his side. It was the deepest beside the small scratches and other cuts in his arms, chest and legs.Â
Tsireya quietly handed her mother the herbs, watching as she spreads it on the wounds. As her daughter, she learned how to heal. After all, sheâd be Tsahik one day.Â
That meant that she was allowed to wrap the wounds. âYou have to pull it tight, especially around the deep wound to stop the bleeding.â, Ronal explained, guiding her daughters hands as she started to wrap the cloth around the boys torso.
I wonder how heâs still alive, Ronal thought, He mustâve lost a lot of blood
As Tsireya worked, her mother stood, stepping out of the marui to wait outside, which maybe wasnât the best idea. But Tsireya welcomed it.
Her hands started to wander just slightly. A finger brushing over his shoulder and over his biceps until it stopped at a small cut at his wrist which Ronal released from the bounds earlier. His skin was mainly rough and hot, but there were spots that were soft and warm.
The corners of her mouth twitched up into a smile, a grin even. She didnât even notice how the mangkwans breathing changed.Â
Only when his strong hand suddenly wrapped around her wrist did she realize, a gasp leaving her lips as her head snapped up, eyes wide.Â
Piercing orange eyes looked into her blue ones, making Tsireya tremble just slightly.Â
Y/n was tired, didnât even really realize what was going on when he looked into a pair of beautiful eyes in a color he had never seen before.Â
But still, he hissed, watching as the metkayina girl quickly tore her wrist from his loosening grip and backing away. Her chest heaved as she stared at him for a second, silence stretching over them.Â
Then, after a moment passed that felt way too long, Tsireyas hands reached for her basket, pulling it toward her and turning sharply to leave the Marui. Her heart pounded like hell.
~
Y/ns hands were bound once again, this time in front if him which meant it was easier to sit. His eyes stared at his body, at the cloth wrapped around it like it was a dirty bug staining his paint.Â
He would love to rip it all off, but there were a few reasons he didnât. One of those being his bound hands.
the other reason being the relief he felt at the knowledge that he wouldnât bleed out right here and then.Â
But why would they heal my wounds?
The question crept up in his mind like a fever, making his brows knit and tail lash.Â
Is this some kind of black mail?
He couldnât wrap is head around it. Especially not when two days passed without anything happening except for the tsahik changing his wraps while he was asleep.
Apparently, the thought it was safer to interact with him when he was unconscious. Smart.
But there was change on the third day. One he didnât like.
He pushed himself back against the marui wall when he heard heavy footsteps approaching, ears pinning flat against his head as he braced himself for whatever was about to come.
Then, The Oloâeyktan stepped into the Marui. Tall and broad with a strong gaze. Behind him a Metkayina Warrior, a spear in his hand.
Y/n hissed at the Naâvi, Tail swiping over the ground in protest.Â
Tonowari payed his behavior no mind, breathing in before speaking, âWhat were you doing in our reef?â
The basics of interrogation. Boring, if you asked Y/n. So he did not answer, tail only thumping against the ground to show his refusal.
Tonowari breathed out sharply through his nose, crouching down in front if the much younger male. âDid you kill?â
The question made Y/ns ears perk up, eyes narrowing. There was a short pause before he finally spoke for the first time in this clan. âKill what?â
His voice low but steady.
âOne of our people.â
âTsk.â, Y/n hissed, rolling his eyes with a thump of his tail once again.Â
âI take that as a no?â, Tonowari spoke again? raising an eyebrow. The second thump of the boys tail released a small wave of relief.
Some would maybe consider it a lie, but Tonowari did not. Having at least a little bit of trust in the age of the Naâvi in front of him.Â
With a nod, he rose again, leaving the Marui without another word. The warrior following close behind.
~
Tsireya stared down at the bowl in her hands.Â
She stood in front of the Marui. His Marui. Teeth biting at her lower lip as she built up her courage.Â
Her Father has given her the task to feed the boy, thinking that their close age would make it easier after the Mangkwan had refused food of other Metkayina Naâvi which where pretty old.Â
She didnât know why her exactly, maybe because father didnât trust Aonung to no do anything stupid and didnât want rotxo to go in either as the youngest of them.Â
Maybe because no other parent wanted to risk their childrens life by sending them into the lions den.
Or Maybe because she did not protest when her father asked her to do it.Â
So this was probably on her.Â
Dammit.
With a final breath, she stepped into the marui, feet light and movements smooth as she crouched down right at the entrance. Her eyes locked on the boy in front of her.
His back was halfway turned toward her, revealing a well toned back to her. His tail was draped over his lap, followed by his arms. But his Eyes were on her, following every single move of her hands, her arms, her body.Â
His gaze made her feel hot.Â
She swallowed, placing the bowl down between them.
Nothing happened for tehe next few moments, only the sound of their breathing was filling the silence.Â
Then, Y/ns Tail lashed out, pushing the bowl away with enough force so the food wouldnât spill.
Tsireya sighed, looking at the bowl and then back to the boy who didnât watch her anymore.Â
She trusted herself to speak up, âYou need to eat.â
Her voice was soft. Beautiful like a song Y/n never heard before. It made his ears point into her direction.Â
âYou will starve.âÂ
Of course Tsireya had noticed the move of his ears, knowing that he did listen to what she was saying.Â
But still, his tail thumped the ground.Â
Tsireya sighed once again, knowing that this would be a hard fruit to chew. But something in her sparked. She would break this fruit open, no matter what it took.
~Â
And that spark didnât leave.Â
Every day, she entered his Marui with a new bowl and a new bag of water. She would sit there and wait, eventually telling him that he has to eat and eventually leaving when his tail thumped the ground like it always did when he refused something.
Meanwhile, there were councils that revolved around him, debating what theyâd do with him. No one really saw the need to punish him, after all he had not killed one of their people, but on the other hand no one wanted to let him go either because that could lead to him going back to his clan with the knowledge of where their village was.Â
It was a complicated situation.
But after several days passed, Tsireya took matters into her own hands. Even though her hands trembled slightly at the thought.Â
Once again, she stepped into the Marui, shoulders tight as she stood.Â
The male in front of her looked different. Even if it was just a little. His posture wasnât as strong as it used to be, shoulders hunched just slightly. His muscles were still there of course, but unused, stomach flat from the lack of food.Â
Of course, he still looked healthy, but Tsireya could see the lack of energy. Especially in the way his tail thumps got weaker.
It made her feel weird. Feel bad.Â
She heard the male breathe out sharply through his nose once he noticed her form in the corner of his eyes, making her tail swish.Â
This wasnât easy at all.
Tsireya huffed this time, falling down into a cross legged sitting position and placing the bowl of food in front of her once again.Â
He didnât move.Â
She crossed her arms. âSo you will just keep this routine going.â, she said, more of a statement than a question. âI come in, place this bowl here and wait until you refuse again?â
Y/ns ear twitched, eyes locking onto the pretty metkayina girl sitting at the entrance of the marui. This was the most she had talked to him in these past days, with an attitude she did not show yet either.
But he saw through her, still a little scared behind her annoyance.Â
The picture tugged at the corner of his mouth. The way she sat there, face twisted in annoyance, arms crossed in front of her chest and tail swishing. She looked cute like this.
But what was he thinking.Â
He looked away, keeping him from interacting with her further.Â
His tail thumped on the ground, once.Â
But Tsireya did not leave like she did usually. In fact, she stayed.Â
Another thump, Twice.
Then, Tsireya stood, making him believe sheâd go. But instead, she swatted at his tail.
A hiss escaped his throat, turning his head towards her with a scowl. Why would she touch him?Â
But Tsireya didnât back down, glaring at him with her pretty blue eyes. Instead, she put her hands on her hips and leaned forward just slightly, looking down on him.Â
His tail twitched as he glared up at her, his composure shifting in irritation.
âYou are pretty weak for a mangkwan.â
Maybe that wasnât the best choice of words, but it was enough.
Within seconds, Y/n was on his feet, approaching her with a big step and a deep hiss.
Tsireyas eyes widened, staring up at him as he towered over her. Thatâs when she suddenly realized how tall he just was.
But that did not keep her from noticing the change in his posture. The slim outline of his body.Â
âYou need to eat.â, she tried once again, not backing down as her gaze went softer just slightly.Â
A scoff was what she got as an answer. Y/n turning around once again and sitting back down in the corner of the Marui he preferred.
Now or neverÂ
Tsireya thought, knowing that she was slowly getting through to the male. She approached, closer this time and kneeled down right beside him, risking to put a hand on his shoulder.
âPlease.â, she felt him tense under her touch, especially when she slowly moved in front of him.Â
His piercing eyes finding hers again.Â
âAt least drink.â
Y/n hesitated, suddenly feeling the dryness of his throat stronger than before. Maybe⊠Thatâs something he could do.
His tail twitched, but it did not thump.Â
A sign? Tsireya didnât know, but she took the advantage. Grabbed the pouch attached to her hip and slowly held it up towards his face.Â
Y/n hesitated, stared at the water that started to drip out of the pouch down onto the woven floor, swallowed before his eyes flicked to the girl in front of him.
He didnât even know her name.
Then, he moved. Holding his mouth open to let the first drop of water touch his tongue.Â
His tail lashed when he started to drink the water that poured out faster as Tsireya tilted it, watching as his adams apple moved and as the water ran down his chin.
He emptied the Pouch in one go, pulling away to wipe at his mouth.Â
shit
He thought, panting just a little.Â
That feels good
Tisreya smiled, truly smiled as she looked the male. Pride filling her chest as she realize she archived something.Â
Finally
She even grinned now, eyes shining like the ones of a child that just got a new toy.Â
âWhat?â, Y/n asked as he noticed her look, raising a non existent eyebrow at her.
Taireyas ears perked up, grin disappearing almost immediately. That was the first time he talked. The first time she heard his voice. Even though it was just a word.
A blush crept up her cheeks, quickly getting up on her feet to pick up the bowl from the ground and rushing towards the exit. But before she fully left, she turned back, noticing how the male was already looking at her.
âSee you tomorrow.â
And with that, she disappeared.
~
Y/n somehow started to like the Metkayina girls daily visits. Well, He did start liking them before because it gave him something to look forward to during the day.
But after what happened a few days ago, he did not only start liking the visits, but also the visitor.
Of course, he denied his thoughts and especially his feelings.
âWhy wonât you eat?â, She asked, her voice small with a slight tint of curiosity. It made Y/ns ears move towards her, head following.Â
Her big eyes stared up at him and if he didnât imagine it, he saw sadness in them.
Lately, She had enough courage to sit closer to him, touch him even if she felt like it. Mostly at his arms or shoulders.Â
âWill you kill me if I do?â, he asked then, knowing that it was the longest sentence yet she heard from him.Â
Her ears perked up, both confused and surprised. His voice was handsome, but the words that he said with it horrifying.
âWhat?â, she breathed, âNo.â
Y/n tilted his head, the corners of his mouth twitching. âThen I wonât eat.â
Tsireya didnât understand what he was saying. She didnât understand the meaning. Why wouldnât he eat if she didnât kill him after? Thatâs crazy.
âWhat does that mean?â, she asked, fingers twitching as she felt the need to touch him. But she didnât.Â
She wanted to understand him. Now, that she kind of believed that he wasnât just like the other, batshit crazy mangkwans out there. It was possible.
Y/n sighed, thinking back to what happened right before they found him at the shore.Â
iâm weak, was what he thought whenever he remembered.
Why would he even tell her? She wouldnât understand anyways.Â
âThey say, if you fall in battle, you do not come back.â, he spoke, watching the girls eyes look into his, her ears twitching. âWhich means that when you fall, you are supposed to die for the greater cause.â
It stirred something uneasy in Tsireyas chest and she watched as something bitter burned in his orange eyes.
âAnd I fell.â, he said, lower this time, âAnd I did not die.â
He grit his teeth as anger crawled up his chest. Angry at himself and this forsaken world. âI wish I did.â
Donât say that, Tsireya didnât say it out loud, scared of what it might cause.Â
She only sat there, watching the boys face as he stared at his hands, a flicker of sadness overcoming his expression.
âI donât know if I can go back now.â
~
The next days passed in a blur and Tsireya felt the weight of his words, his life, press down on her.Â
She wanted to help him so bad, but she didnât even know how. Or if he even wanted help. He didnât seem like it.
maybe he doesnât need help, she thought one day as she was weaving a new basket. But what does he need?
âTsireya?â, the voice of her father pulled her out of her thoughts and she looked up with fluttering eyelids.
âWhat are you thinking about?â
She was quiet as she let the answer sink in, biting her lip as she tried to think of an excuse. But there was no use, her father always knew when she was lying.
âThe boy.â, she answered then, hands stilling in her lap. âHe told me about what happened to him.â
Tonowaris ears perked up at that, shoulders stiffen just slightly as he thought of every possible thing his daughter would tell him next.
Tsireyas eyes saddened, a sigh leaving her lips. âHe canât go back, Dad.â
âWhat?â
Of Course tonowari understood what she said, but he didnât quite understand what it meant. Just like tsireya hadnât understood back then.
âHe was supposed to die.â, she continued, ââYou die for the greater causeâ he said.â
Tonowari sighed, realizing just what it meant. âYes.â, he said then, watching as his daughter looked up at him, âThe mangkwan are known for fighting until death.â
âI donât understand.â, Tsireya said this time, louder than before, âHeâs my age, why- I canât believe he wants that.â
âWell.â, Tonowari smiled at her desperation, but still not quite fond of what was forming in his daughters chest, he ignored it, yet. âHe isnât dead.â
Tsireyas tail swished. âwhich must mean he doesnât want it as much as other mangkwan do.â
âMaybe now, he just needs some reassurance.â, Ronals voice suddenly came and Tsireya looked up to the marui entrance. The Tsahik stood there, eyes locked onto her daughter and ears laying flat against her head. She had listened from outside, made herself a picture before she intervened.
She stepped forward with a calm demeanor, setting down her basket of herbs to take one of her daughters hands. âNo one is truly disconnected from Eywa.â, she spoke with a strong voice, âShe has a path for every sing one of us⊠even for him.â
Tsireya blinked, the words echoing in her head as if they suddenly made everything make sense. âItâs eywas willâŠâ, she mumbled, suddenly rising to her feet.Â
âThank you, mother, father.â, she quickly said, smiling at her parents before turning on her heel and running off. Her silky hair being the last thing the two Naâvi saw.
âThat was wise of you.â, Tonowari smiled then, getting an annoyed look of his mate. âI am tsahik.â
The man laughed, grabbing one of her hands and pulling her towards him. âI know you are, and you just helped our daughter a lot.â
She huffed, but didnât deny it as she leaned against tonowari. âI still donât trust the boy.â
~
Tsireya stepped into the Marui, bowls in her hands and water pouch sitting at her hip.Â
After the conversation with her parents, she suddenly knew what to do. Well, she believed she knew what to do.
She felt his gaze on her almost immediately, smiling when she saw him sitting at his usual place. This time, his back wasnât turned.Â
âHey.â, she smiled, somehow happy to see him again.
He couldnât help but feel the same. Every day, his favor toward her grew and his heart beats a little faster whenever she stepped through those flaps.
The girl didnât expect a get back, which she didnât get anyway, and moved around the marui, setting down the bowl. But not in front of him this time. Instead, it not sat on one of the elevated areas.
Tsireya wasnât quite sure how sheâd start this, but she would just do. What could go wrong?
He will rip your head off, a voice in her head responded, making her shiver. But she quickly discarded the thought, believing in the progress of the past days.Â
He had been drinking every day after the first time now, and it showed. His body had regained a bit it itâs strength.Â
She popped down right in front of him, Hands folding in her lap and hair falling over her shoulders. Her big eyes fixed on him.
A moment of silence passed, then he tilted his head. âWhat?â
she loved the sound of his voice.
Tsireya grinned, hand reaching up to lay flat against her chest. âIâm Tsireya.â
Y/ns ears perked up and forward, eyes going wide just slightly at the mention of her name. I didnât even realize she never introduced herself, he thought, watching as she smiled at him with such⊠care? he couldnât tell. Heâs not the best at guessing looks.
âI am the daughter of the Oloâeyktan and tsahik of awaâatlu.â, she continued.Â
well that explains something
The corners of his mouth twitched up and the girlsâTsireyasâhand reached out, making him tense.Â
She immediately stopped her hand, letting it hover. âAnd you?â, she asked, only pointing at him before letting her hand fall back into her lap.Â
Y/ns tail swiped over the ground and his eyes twitched from her hands to her face.Â
His heart pounded.
âY/n.â
A breath left Tsireya, like a snort but softer. Excitement growing in her chest.
âNice to meet you, Y/n.â
~
The first time Y/n ate was not long after that, and it left Tsireya speechless.Â
She stood at the entrance of his Marui like all the other times she did, bowl in hand while she moved towards the Naâvi boy. His stomach getting flatter by the days.Â
She set the bowl down in between them, waiting. Like always.Â
âYouââ
In the matter of seconds, his hands snapped forward, grabbed a piece of fish with long fingers and threw it into his mouth like it was nothing.Â
The movement startling the girl in front of him.Â
Y/n was tired of refusing to eat. He was hungry and his body weak. And he hated being weak.Â
May Varang kill him then, he didnât care anymore.
Her wouldnât go back anyways. At least, thatâs what he hoped.
Within seconds, the bowl was empty, leaving only a few pieces of fish skin that hadnât been peeled off from the start.Â
A satisfied groan escaped Y/ns throat as he licked his fingers.
Tsireya was silent for a few seconds before huffing, grabbing the bowl. âWas that so hard now?â, she asked sassily, but still smiled. He ate. Finally.
~
Y/n scoffed as he stared down at his body.Â
Tsireya was just washing his bandages, meaning he could see the extend of his wound. A scar would stay where his deepest wound was just healing.Â
But that didnât bother him. He had too many scars to worry about a new one. Itâs his body paint that worried him, It was barely there anymore.
Only a few red and black streaks across his arms, legs and chest. The red on his face probably smudged away now too.Â
âWhat makes you so upset?â, Tsireya asked without looking at him, noticing his uneasiness.Â
Y/ns tail thumped as an answer, fingers brushing over the paint watching as it stuck. He missed the feeling of it against his body.Â
He liked his paint. It was one of the few things that were left for him. A way to express himself. Or hide. He didnât know which one of it.
We mangkwans express ourselves with our paint.Â
He thought but stilled when he realized it.Â
Am I even Mangkwan anymore?
His eyes glistened.
Do I even want to be Mangkwan anymore?
suddenly, Tsireya knelt down beside him, dried out bandages in the basket on her lap, âit looks fine.â, she tried the reassure him, already imagining what he was thinking.
Y/n huffed quietly, looking at her with a slight scowl, âIt looks old.â, he muttered, âI canât remake it.â
Tsireya tilted her head, not knowing what to say to make him feel better.Â
âAnd I smell like shit.â, he said even lower, making her giggle. His eyes darted towards her, mouth tugging up into a smile when he heard her laugh.
A sound he started to like. A lot.
âYou could just go wash yourself, you know.â, Tsireya said without really thinking, starting to wrap the warm bandages back around his wounds. Her hands brushing over his skin deliberately.
It made Y/n shiver.
He snorted, holding up his bound hands. âCan I?â
Tsireya stilled, grin fading just a little. âOh. right. Sorry.â
Silence stretched over them like a heavy blanket, letting both of them dive into their own thoughts as Tsireya finished wrapping his bandages.
Then, she stood, grabbing her stuff. âMy mother will give your wounds a last check up today.â, she spoke, trying out a smile once again.
Y/n nodded.Â
âSee you then.â, she mumbled, turning and leaving the Marui. Both of them staying with a heavy chest, because they knew.
There are worlds keeping them apart.
And neither could do anything about it.
~
It was past midnight when Tsireya snuck out of her family Marui. Her eyes darted around to check if there was anyone still awake, light on her feet as she hurried around the village.Â
She reached Y/ns Marui within a few minutes, taking a deep breath before stepping in. âY/n.â, she whispered, eyes adjusting to the darkness of the Marui.
She could hear faint breathing coming from the right side of the Marui, making her step towards it. She started to make out Y/ns figure in the dark.
His tall form sprawled across the bed, tail wrapped around his thigh and hair falling into his face.Â
Tsireya loved how calm he looked when he wasnât awake.
âY/n.â, she whispered again, placing a hand on his arm as she tried to shake him awake. But he didnât stir.
She huffed, looking around the Marui before leaning further over him. âY/n!â
Still no reaction.Â
âCome on, wakeââ, suddenly, his eyes shot open, locking into her form before his bound hands shot up.
He grabbed her by the neck, pulling her down until she was the the one laying on the bed. She gasped, couldnât even react as his own body shot up at the same time, his legs straddling her waist and arms pulling the knife out of her holster at her hip.Â
He held it up, ready to strike when Tsireyas hands shot up and her voice reached his ears. âWait! Wait! Y/n! Itâs me!â, she panted, panicking as she stared at her knife in his hands.
Y/ns ears perked up, eyes adjusting to the dark before realizing who the dark figure was. Big blue eyes staring up at him in horror.Â
âTsireya.â, he breathed, his grip around the knife loosening almost immediately.
The Metkayina girl trembled just slightly, relief making her let out a breathy laugh. Thank Eywa he didnât just kill her.
âYou scared the shit out of me.â, he groaned.Â
Tsireya smiled apologetically, one hand still at his chest while the other grabbed his wrists. âSorry.â
Y/n put down the knife on the floor, brushing through his hair before scratching at the back of his head. âWhatââ
He quickly got up from the compromising position, stepping back with a confused expression.
âWhat are you doing here? What time is it?â
Tsireya quickly got back up too, picking up her knife before hurrying back over to him. âYouâll see.â, she grinned, trying not to think of how close they had been a few seconds ago.
She grabbed his wrists, bringing her knife to the binds. âWaitâ what are youââ
But his wrists were already released, the tight cloth falling to the floor with a silent thud.Â
Y/n didnât even have time to react when Tsireya grabbed one of his now free wrists, the feeling strange. âCome!â
But when she tried pulling him with her, she was met with resistance, bouncing back with a yelp when the Naâvi didnât move. âWhatâ Zeyâtar! Come on!â
âAre you sure?â, he asked then, jaw working as he stared at the exit of the marui. Tsireya snorted, stepping towards him until she could feel the heat of his body. âI am. I checked everything, no one is awake at this hour, no one will see.â
Y/ns gaze shifted back to her, searching for a lie in those beautiful, kind eyes. No, no lie.
And with that, he let her pull
him outside the marui.Â
A salty breeze blew his hair out of his face, letting his nostrils flare as the scent settled in his nose. It wasnât cold, but not the usual heat of midday either.
It was⊠nice.
He yelped when he suddenly tripped, almost slipping off the woven floor and into the water.Â
âWhoa! Careful!â, Tsireya whisper shouted, both hands gripping Zeyâtars upper arm. The were small compared to itâs size. She was small in general when compared to him.Â
And now that they were outside, where both of them moved together, Tsireya noticed it even more and it made her legs weak.
âCome on! Hurry!â, she giggled, pulling at his arm which did nothing but making him grin. They kept going, rushing through the village like two teenagers that would get in trouble if someone found them.
Which they were, technically.
âWhere are we even going?â, Y/n questioned after they reached the outer circle of the Metkayina village, feet digging into the soft sand
âYouâll see.â
He didnât know if he liked this secretive behavior of hers, but heâd play along while it lasted. Make her happy until itâd eventually end.
After several moments passed in which Tsireya guided Zeyâtar through the small forest at the edge of the village, they reached a small coast. Cut off from the looks of Metkayina Naâvi.
The water was calm. Much differently than it was when Y/n crash landed in it two weeks ago.Â
He discarded the thought.
Tsireya let go of his arm, leaving him standing in the middle of the sand while she hurried towards a group of woven baskets. âYou knowââ, she started, opening one of them, âWhen you said you âsmell like shitââ
Y/ns face scrunched up in discomfort when the girl repeated his words. âI thought that I you might want to change that.â, she looked back at him, pulling a piece of Cloth out of the basket which looked suspiciously similar to a loincloth.Â
âSo, here you go. You can use these, They are old cloths of other Naâvi.â
Y/n rose a non existent eyebrow, not quite fond of the idea that she wanted him to bathe. here.Â
âNow?â, he asked in disbelief watching as she put her hands on her hips.Â
She laughed, running towards him and pushing at his back towards the water. âYes, now!â
Y/n huffed, but he didnât resist any more, waiting for Tsireya to turn around so he could get rid of his loincloth and chest piece.Â
And when he stepped into the cold water, his breath he didnât know he was holding, eased out of his chest. Eyes staring down at his body.
At his legs, his arms, his chest, his tail. His hands. His body was covered in scars.
Scars that reminded of his past.Â
He huffed, shaking his head to get rid of his thoughts.Â
His Hands dipped into the water, crouching as he started to scrub at his body. Washing away the too old paint.
Red and Black started to stain the water, the moon watching as he got rid of the last remnants of what he was.Â
He ripped the red cloth from his Kuru, from his tail and from his calves and feet like they were restraints holding him captured.Â
His now clean, grey skin seemed to glow under the moonlight and he let out a breathe laugh as he finally saw it. His Body. His Naâvi self that didnât look like an outcast at all.Â
He smiled, ears flicking before he stared up at the moon.Â
Thatâs it
~
They started to spend most of their nights like this. Sneaking off, giggling and tripping over their own feet as they hid from other metkayina that were still awake.
And every time, Tsireya held his hand. Her fingers wrapping around his bigger hand as she led the way. Y/n let her every single time.Â
The small, hidden beach became their own little place. It held their secrets. Their laughs as they splashed each other with water. Their huffs and groans as Tsireya tried to teach Y/n how to swim. Held their silent moments in which they just layed in the sand and watched the moon.Â
It was those little, innocent nights that made them forget how different they were. How far apart their paths were before they crossed on the day Y/n got fished off the shore.Â
And Y/n couldnât help but dream. Dream as Tsireyas head rested on his chest, breathing steady as she dosed off. His arm wrapped around her shoulders even if it was a little stiff, not being used to this kind of affection.
Affection.
Yeah, affection.Â
Y/n was affectionate towards Tsireya. No. He was in love with Tsireya.Â
With her curly hair. Her Big blue eyes and her smile that looked like the rising sun.Â
Yeah. He fell, hard.Â
So hard he believed his soul took a bruise which heâd gladly keep.
And every night, when she was asleep on his chest, he stared up at the moon, wondering what he did to deserve this kind of little life they somehow built themselves.
âTsireya.â, he mumbled, knowing that sheâd never hear the words that formed on his tongue. âI see you.â
~
Two more weeks passed. Y/n ate and drank. His wounds healed. His Paint stayed off, together with his Mangkwan loincloth and chest piece. All he wore was a loincloth which style represented nothing.
The Metkayina got somehow accustomed to his presence, allowing him to wander freely now that he proved himself as not dangerous.Â
He wasnât Mangkwan anymore.
The second he ate that fish he turned his back on his old clan, the one he canât face in the knowledge of being alive.Â
The boy sighed, watching the sunset as he sat at the shore. The water was calm, looking as if glitter was sprinkled on it while it basked in the low set sun.Â
In his fingers, his braid. Freed from the red cloth that had been wrapped around it weeks prior. The tendrils of his Kuru seemed to try and reach for something, for a connection he never formed.Â
Eywa.
He thought, amber eyes blank as they kept watching the sunset.Â
Would you welcome me again, if I tried?
He didnât think she would, but there was something in him that wanted to believe. Wanted to try.
If he wasnât mangkwan, then what was he? They would never take him back. Eywa would never take him back either.Â
Itâs just a matter of time when the metkayina force me to leave, now that my wounds are healed.
It was the truth. Tsireya had told him this morning while removing the bandages, revealing the scars that had formed.Â
Beside him, I/n was sleeping peacefully. They allowed him to finally see his Ikran after 3 weeks. They took care of him, as much as possible. Tsireya told him that I/n would snap at anyone that neared him.
âThey had to throw the fish to him from a 4 meter distance!â
she giggled. Y/n smiled at that.Â
A low growl came from his Ikran, itâs head nudging his side. Y/n looked at him, eyes uncertain as he noticed the black and red paint still covering the animals skin.Â
Underneath, it was a light blue with white and red streaks. Barely visible under the paint.
Y/n sighed, noticing the worry flickering in I/n eyes. So he connected their Kurus, showing his troubled thoughts through tsaheylu instead of explaining.Â
When his Ikrans Head lowered on his lap then, he petted over his snout. âLetâs get this paint off of you.â
So they stood, walking towards the water. Their pace transitioning from a walk into a jog before ending in a desperate run, water splashing as they jumped in.Â
Y/n laughed when the Ikrans large form rolled in the shallow water, chirping as it could feel his Naâvis positivity, even without tsaheylu.
And in that moment of splashing water, yips, chirps and slight laughter, Y/n forgot his troubles for just a little while.
While the water swallowed the red and black paint of I/n, revealing his beautiful color, they suddenly got rid of the weight of being Mangkwan off their shoulders.Â
Itâs just us now
Y/n thought while watching the Ikran splash water at him again, holding up his arms with a laugh.Â
Itâs scary
The chaos started to still, both dragging themselves back to the warm sand as the sun kept setting lower.Â
Y/n breathed in the fresh air, so different from the ashy air he lived with for most of his life. It felt free.
But so, so good
And an Idea crawled up his mind, making his tail swish in anticipation.Â
âLetâs run.â
He breathed then, his words making his Ikran raise itâs head from the sand, huffing in agreement.Â
âYeah.â, Y/n nodded, a sad smile spreading on his features. âLetâs run.â
~
The Morning sun rose behind Y/n as he rushed through the barely filled village. His feet carrying him towards the sore where he knew Tsireya would be.
Her slim, delicate form kneeling in the sand as she wove baskets while her father was fishing close by.Â
âTsireya!â, Y/n called out, slowing his steps the closer he got.
Her gaze tore away from the unfinished basket in her lap, frown forming into a big smile as she saw the grey skinned Naâvi come towards her.Â
She giggled, throwing herself at him with enough force to make him stumble back. But he didnât fall. Catched her with strong arms while she wrapped hers around his neck.Â
When her feet touched the ground again and her arms fell back to his hand, she smiled up at him. Then started dragging him towards where she had been weaving.Â
âLook!â, she said, pulling him down into the sand to hold the half finished basket up. It was decorated with shells in different colors. âI tried weaving in shells.â
âLooks great.â, He nodded, tracing a finger over one of the shells that had a light green color.Â
âTsireya, I need to talk to you.â, he then said, looking into her unbothered eyes. She didnât even react to the seriousness in his voice, ignored it even, as she pushed a few other shells into his arms she didnât use yet.
âI was thinking to keep the green and rosy pattern, but now that I look at it I mightâve liked the blue ones better instead of green.â, she started rambling off, holding up the basket against the sunlight. âTsireya.â, Y/n tried again, but his voice was drowned out again by her words.
âMaybe I really shouldâve used the blue ones⊠Should I start again?â, she asked without waiting for an answer. Instead, she started talking again the second she heard her name coming from the boys mouth once again.Â
âOr Iâm making another with rose and blue!â
âTsireya!â
Silence. Tsireya was silent. Her upright posture suddenly slumping together as she stared down at the basket in her hands. A breath leaving her chest.
Y/n tilted his head, trying to catch her eyes. But her hair covered her face, blocking his line of sight.Â
âYou will leave.â
Her voice was small, so different from how she sounded just seconds prior.Â
Y/n stilled, his ears twitching as he heard her voice. But he didnât say anything, only watched when her head slowly turned towards him.
Her big eyes were filled with tears when she looked up at him, seeing his pained expression.Â
âI saw the bag outside your Marui.â
Y/n sighed, heart aching as he saw the sadness in her eyes. ââReya.â
âWhy.â
His hands shot up, cradling her face as if sheâs slip away if he didnât.Â
âBecause I canât stay.â, he spoke, voice softer than ever as he leaned down a little to catch her down turned eyes. âI am not Metkayina.â
It was the hard truth, for both of them. Tsireya did not want it to be real. Did not want to life through this moment.Â
âYou can stay⊠You can learn our ways.â, she started, keeping her voice from stuttering as her throat tightened. âI teached you how to swim.â
Her hand reached up to lay over his on her cheek, leaning into his warm touch that she loved so much. The warm touch that cradled her every night. In which she layed when she heard him other those important thee words.
âAnd Iâm so grateful for that.â, Y/n whispered, knowing that he was probably a Skxawng for doing this. âBut I need to leave.â
He gulped as a tear left Tsireyas eyes. âIââ
He choked on his own words, closing his eyes before he leaned his forehead against hers. âI need to find myself.â
And Tsireya understood, somehow. Seeing past the boy she learned to love. Seeing his struggle that he carried from day one of being here.Â
âI see you.â, she whispered then, fingers curling around his.Â
Y/ns breath hitched and his eyes fluttered open.Â
And Tsireya did, in fact, see.
He smiled, quickly looking towards the place where Tonowari fished, clueless of what was unfolding at the shore behind him. Then, Y/n closed the distance.
Her lips were soft against his own. Fitting so perfectly as they moved in sync.Â
It was a beautiful kiss. Innocent but heavy with emotion. Wet from Tsireyas tears and bitter from Y/ns torn heart.Â
They parted again, looking into each others eyes as if they were the only ones sitting on the beaches of Pandora.
âI see you, Tsireya.â
~
Y/n spent the day setting up his escape. Planning to leave without anyone from the village truly noticing.Â
Tsireya was there, helping. Even if she was silent most of the time.Â
She packed another bag, filling it with fruit and healing herbs she gathered during the day and strapped it to I/n saddle.Â
The Ikran didnât snap at her like he did at others, one reason being that Y/n kept him from doing so, the other being that she was one of the people that had fed him during those 4 weeks.
She watched as Y/n looked at his knife. His old knife. The one made of black Bone he had lost when he tried to defend himself against the Metkayina.Â
They didnât leave it, took it with them and kept it in the box outside his marui.Â
She approached, wrapping her hand around the handle and taking it from his palm. âIâll take care of it.â, she said, smiling a sad smile as she watched his eyes follow her movements.Â
His nose scrunched up, ears laying flat as he spoke, âI donât think I like the idea of you carrying something that resembles my time before all this.â
She looked at the knife, knowing what he meant.Â
But the thought didnât spook her. Instead, she somehow felt the strength that came with it. The strength Y/n mustâve wielded it with.
âI want to keep it.â
Y/n didnât argue, just looked at her with a look that could win a yearning competition. âAlright.â, he said, stepping closer. âThen wield it with might.â
And then, the time has come. The sun has disappeared from the horizon, letting the moon rise up to itâs spot high up in the sky.Â
They didnât talk, just leaned their foreheads against each other as they stood there in silence.
Then,
âI will see you again, right?â
Y/ns tail swished, heart punding against his chest as he felt the tears dwell up in his eyes. Throat tightening.
But he did not lie when he answered.Â
âYes.â
Tsireya sighed, as if that single word was her comfort in this starry night.Â
âI will come back.â
And when Y/n wanted to part again, Tsireya wrapped her arms around his chest, pressing herself against him while she started to sob.Â
And he held her. Steady. Waiting as she cried into his chest.Â
He didnât let go until her hold loosened by itself.Â
âI will wait for you.â
Y/n smiled, knowing that she meant it. âThank you, âReya.â, he mumbled, pressing a last kiss to her forehead before stepping back, grabbing the front of his saddle. âBut if I take too long, move on.â
Tsireya tilted her head with a smile, one that was very close to the once she wore on their nights alone. âWeâll see.â
Both of them knowing that there probably wonât be another. For none of them. And they didnât need words to know.
And even if it hurts. Even if both of them left a piece of their heart with the other, they let each other go.Â
And while Tsireya watched the love of her life take off on his Ikran. Y/n looked back as the love of his life got smaller by every flap of his Ikrans wings.
Itâs only me and you.
Note: Thereâs probably gonna be a part two with their happy ending
