Recently I listened to Dynamite from Taio cruz and remembered that back when that song came out I saw that music video. But I was like 12 and never really paid attention to how you write his name. So this song comes on the radio and I’m really excited and want to show off my ‘music knowledge’ to my parents. So what I said was “Did you know Ted Cruz sang this song?” and my parents turn around holding back their laugh and ask me if I’m sure it’s the right guy. I of course had no clue who Ted Cruz is so I replied with “yeah you know that black man on the motorcycle”
