Welcome back, Splendorman! What have you been up to for the past few months?
“Quite the same as before, dear anon.”
*The demon smirks, offering a small nod in return to the greeting*
“Thankfully, my existence is robust enough to survive outside the walls of this internet page.”
okay,so someone asked me what was your favorite color,since I made a tribute to you,and they asked, "what was your favorite color? DON'T PICK RAINBOW" and I don't want to get it wrong.
“The confusion is understandable, considering my rather diverse choice of apparel.”
*Lifting up an edge of his jacket, he gestures vaguely towards the countless vivid, colourful spots adorning his dark maroon suit.
“Though, out of them all, I suppose I’d have to go with the dominant one.”
Do you know what your purpose is here in this realm? Or are you still searching for that answer?
“Such an answer is not easily found, little one.
This world is ever-changing. Even a millennium of life experience wouldn’t guarantee you to know it, even less the impact its changes have in store for you.”
What do you think of the creatures known as Endermen? They seem like failed recreations of The Tall Man, considering that they seem more interested in altering the terrain rather than taking children or young adults.
“Beings such as myself all originate from the human mind in one form or other, and those are no exception. They are different, perhaps, but not necessarily failed. We all seek our own purpose in this realm.”
Can you hypnotize people?
“As someone who were born into the mental realm, I have become quite adept at manipulating it to my will. Though, my ability to affect others’ actions is vaguer than the mindless brainwashing that you probably have in mind.
I can merely give urges, subconscious desires to perform certain actions or follow certain goals. Though mind you, such urges can be quite powerful, and.. not always rational. Only exceptionally strong-willed humans have managed to resist so far, for how can you stop something when your mind is so thoroughly convinced to do it? Most don’t even notice anything off in the first place.
Of course, this is not my standard way of going about things. There is after all no fun playing tag with yourself now, is there? Besides..”
*He turns and gives the anon a charming grin*
“There is nothing in the world like a genuine scream.”

*The demon’s sharp stare turns curious and somewhat amused. He eyes the anon for a moment, as if questioning their sanity, then opens his skeletal hand at them in a teaseful, inviting manner.*

“My dear, I am usually quite content. After existing for so long, there are few beings out there capable of actually infuriating me, yes, even among your kind. Those little meals and chases between us are surely all in good fun, wouldn’t you say?”
*He smiles toothily, slowly leaning forward.*
“So when someone does manage to cross such a line, they must indeed be very talented.
And trust me.. I will always, always make sure to repay said talent.”

"Only the naive paint death as the ultimate horror, my dear. And such a lack of creativity rarely goes unpunished."
*The smirk in his voice was audible as he slowly leant forward*
"That's where I come in."
It's been a long while since I've asked you something ... when you poke around human minds, do you avoid certain parts of it to keep from getting overwhelmed by information? Or is it more like swimming in a pool of thoughts?
“As someone who were created and grown within them, I claim to be quite accustomed to the flow of human minds. I am attuned to them in a way you'd probably think of as a ‘sixth sense’ of sort, in that it takes no effort from me to sense a being’s state of mind.
From day to day, their emotions surround me tirelessly, like waves of constant input from every direction with no regard for whether I want them there or not. It is much to the comparison of regular chatter in that I can tune them out into no more than background noise. Though, I may also decide to 'delve deeper' should the individual be of particular interest. You see, what I initially sense is only their most basic emotions, unless the person is especially loud, that is. Anger, nervousity, serenity, sadness, worry.. they all shine through bright as day. Plunging into the mind, however, offers in-depth explanations for all of these moods and lets me taste even their tiniest variations of feelings, their innermost trains of thought. It's a little like unwrapping a gift with several layers of paper. The deeper you dive, the more interesting things you uncover. Needless to say I find it rather entertaining. You are predictable, yet quite unique."
"I-I'm not afraid of you..! Y-you tall meanie!" She said, taking a slightly cautious step away in case she felt the need to run.
“Are you implying I need to earn your fear, then?”
*The slenderbeing cocks his head at this new visitor, eyeing her with a content sense of smugness. He opens his arms in a welcoming manner as a series of dark appendages violently rip their way out from his back, towering over her and prepared to lunge.*
“Because that is a game I am more than willing to play.”
Ever been embarrassed?
“Embarrassed?”
*A nonchalant, almost teaseful expression spreads on his face at the question.*
“Why, this world of yours is already teeming with self-consciousness and clumsy beings as it is. You’d certainly not need me for that, grey one.”
*Diverting his gaze into the woods, the demon waves their question off with just the teeniest bit too much insistence.*
