Theme updated. I finally have one I like!
digitaldivination has the story
When she took off her headset, she was struggling to keep a straight face. The Creeper was what one with her specialty might call a WYSIWYG. What you see is what you get. And he was nuts.
Barbara replied, “I’ll tell you what. If you’re quiet for five minutes, I’ll put Animal House on that monitor over there for you. Alright?” She indicated a small monitor on the edge of her workstation.
He glanced over at the monitor, and then back to her. “Tryin’ to get rid of me, dollface? I hope you know there’s no healing factor for my hurt feelings.” Of course he was only feigning offense, and the big smile gave him away. Being treated like a child by the other heroes- and villains, sometimes- was just part of the job to him. Respect for lunatics was few and far between. Maybe he’d get more if he killed people, like the Joker. “You gonna watch with me and snuggle? Down, girl! You’re coming off as desperate!”
"You'll be watching by yourself," she declared. "I know the script backwards and forwards. And no, I won't cuddle with you.:
Barbara began to plan for her next sewing project...a Creeper pincushion.

The dark scowl which crossed her features would have shut down many an inquiry, but it seemed that the Creeper was immune.
“No,” she said with practiced patience though she was unable to banish the terse tone which came naturally to her at such times. “The only notations you’ll find from The Boss in my files are commentaries on crimes. In other words, just business.”
Just business. What a bore. She probably played games on it when no one was looking. Even if Creeper wasn’t much of a gamer himself, he knew the perfect setup when he saw it. All that was missing was a few bags of junk food. He turned his attention from the monitors to the Oracle herself. “Is Batsy on the line now? Tell him I say hi. Then hang up and turn on a movie, I’ll get the popcorn.”

Barbara took off her glasses and rubbed the bridge of her nose. The Creeper, Jack Ryder, was always sort of a wild card depending whether it was Jack or the Creeper in charge.
“What Batman thinks?” she asked in puzzlement. “You realize that these are computer screens and that I’m not actually psychic, right? You’ll have to be more specific about what you need.”
“What’re you sayin’, Babe? Mr. Tall Dark and Gloomy doesn’t save his diary on here? And here I expected whimsical doodles of names in hearts! Whose name, eh? I’d bet it’s Catwoman. You ever hear him talk about her rehabilitation? Wouldn’t mind ‘bringing her to justice’ myself, that kitty’s got claws. Not to mention plenty of snug leather and easy-access zippers. Mrowr.”

Dick + Babs Part 1
-- Birds of Prey 8
“I just didn’t realize that Blüdhaven PD was that inept at the academy level. But I suppose with the quality of the force it’s little wonder. But I know you’ll be a vast improvement over the corruption they have now.”
“Wow, you love stompin’ on my dreams, don’t you?”
"Dick, we both know that Blüdhaven's worse than Gotham. The corruption runs deeper and has run unchecked for years. I know you'll do work."
She sighed, "The truth is...I wish I could be there with you. Dad would never let it happen before and now, well, it's not even a remote possibility anymore."

The Creeper shot up behind the Oracle, looking over her shoulder at the impressive screens with a big smile. “Hey, be a doll and pull up the files of me? I’m just dying to know what Batman thinks. Heh.”
Barbara took off her glasses and rubbed the bridge of her nose. The Creeper, Jack Ryder, was always sort of a wild card depending whether it was Jack or the Creeper in charge.

“Damn right I attend the Academy. Only place to go!”

I have to give you credit. That car is pretty sexy.
Or pretty junky. It all depends on how I wanna run.
I have a soft spot for old muscle cars. And former boy wonders.

"We had some times right? Maybe we could again?"
"Maybe once upon a time, before --"
"You know better than that, Barbara."
"Good luck with that directory. Oracle out."
