“The Net is a metaphysical space that mimics our metaphysical experience of the dead as being neither here nor there but somehow everywhere yet nowhere in particular” (Gibson, 2007). everywhere yet nowhere in particular is a sound and video installation exploring instances of digital ghosts, infomorphs, and objects left online by people who have died. Materials: church pews, wooden boxes, computer monitors, sound. Shown in the WaveCave from 4/26 - 5/2. Where do we stop? Where are our edges?

Harry Potter fandom member that was famous for posting about their struggles with Tuberculosis. Pretended to die from illness in 2006, only to be outed as a fake. Perhaps, this is not an example of a real death, but rather the death of an identity and persona. If the death was not real does that invalidate the mourning process people went through?
