Its actually insane how often people replace their cars. You should be able to get one vehicle and use it for at LEAST ten years, if not 30 or more. Im serious. AND it should be socially normal.
An essential part of this would be consumer rights around being able to easily find parts for and get your car repaired/repair it yourself without a ton of trouble. Id imagine a car not being heavily computerized also plays an important part in this.

hi everyone, its puppet! you may know it from getting terminated constantly and having to remake its dono posts a lot. sadly it has to aaagain.
so, puppets a homeless and disabled trans woman, and it cant work, has been couch crashing, and has been living purely off donations from tumblr as they keep terminating it. and now on top of that, it is living with its girlfriend, @phantomqueen10001001! while this has been great for both of us,, puppet already only has enough money for food for the next 1-2 weeks, and we both really need to eat. and so we would really appreciate if anyone could help!

3rd blog since this post started, and my girlfriends have both been termed even more than that. They are still about to be fully homeless on the street in less than a month. Please, if you live in Seattle or know someone who does, and have some a couch that they can crash on, please help. They are sweet and can help out with cleaning. Like unironically we should be subsidising at least 50% of their educations. What do you mean we have a shortage of doctors we should have surplus. What do you mean they’re being overworked they should be treated like royalty, they can fix human bodies

Trying to find an old tumblr post I used to see a lot.
It started with someone listing "places with uncanny energy," like gas stations on a road trip, empty movie theaters, etc.
Then someone reblogged it and said those are called "liminal spaces," defining liminal as in-between, neither one thing nor another.
It was the first time I'd seen the term "liminal" applied to places like that, and it's driving me crazy, I want to find and put a date on it so bad.

I’ve personally used both the flat single-filter version AND the triangular two-filter version, and based on subjective personal experience I would argue that the benefits from the second filter, both in terms of airflow and filtration, are absolutely worth it. If you need a makeshift air filter and you have two filters to work with, build the triangle (if not the box, i have no idea how good that one works but based on the info here i presume it’s a fair bit better.)
This trick works. We use it in my house.
