Warning: no beta, kinda small fic.
In a silent evening, Renata was dreaming that she walked through the same sketchy street to arrive home at night. And even if fireworks and people can be seen and heard, it wasn't enough to take off the silence that would come when she arrives at her doorstep. On her walk to home, she sees a shadow, soon to be seen figure. Not so sweet memories she can remember with this guy; avoiding him is still an option, right?
He calls her name, making the most sweetest words that would send one think romantic scenarios. Even so, she tries to avoid him, by going through a shortcut by a small bridge, not that hasn't stopped him to keeping trying. Trying to convince her to come back to him, to finish what they begun, but in-between his pleas he receives words like "I dont want to destroy anything", "I was nothing but impulse towards you!", "what he had was not healthy!". Half of these were excuses mixed with truths. Until he grabs her arm using his tentacles, finally locking eyes to each other.
The small booms from the small explosives that people be playing around sounded more than the colors away from Renata's vision.
"Cariño, please listen to me!" There was no other option left at her favor. Then she hears a voice, calm and comforting, almost a whisper in her mind "Is this what are you're still worried about?" . It's Septem.
"I just... I just can't avoid seeing those eyes knowing well they can eat my soul..." She says it out loud, looking at the ground with shame and guilt. Nulla raises an eyebrow for a moment, he tries to move a leg towards her but nothing happens. "And what is it that you're looking for?"
"DON'T LISTEN TO HIM!!" His glare and warnings fall into deaf ears.
"Close my eyes each time he's near" At the moment she looks back at Nulla, a form of wings block away to see him. Septem takes care of the situation, by leaving Renata in a level of ignorance, even in her dreams.
