I like how she has taken and continues to take 0/100 responsibility for her role in any of the problems she’s faced or the way she is perceived by the media.

She straight up lied about everything with Kanye, betrayed a man she called her friend, because the tide turned against him and the song he wrote that she knew about. She can frame it as being upset about being called a bitch all she wants (which is still shitty of Kanye to do) but that wasn’t the point. The point was she had a conversation with him–which he did not owe her–and then lied about it. She just needed to be the Fragile White Victim™ so bad that she screwed over a black artist to maintain her “narrative.” She acted like a snake, and she damn well deserved to be called out for being one. You don’t get to “take back” a name you’ve been called when you brought it on yourself.

That’s not something I like to say because it has heavy victim blaming connotations but Taylor isn’t a victim. She’s an adult who made a shitty choice and didn’t like that there were consequences for it. She just continues to pin it on others as she has always done.

She didn’t lie. He wasn’t fully honest, he didn’t send her a copy of the finished product because he added lines she didn’t approve. You’re so quick to talk shit about Taylor, but where was your outrage when he stripped her naked for his art? He started this how debacle when he stormed on stage in 2009 ruining what should have been a spectacular moment for Taylor and you are all pissy that she didn’t just lie down and take his shit. She stood up for herself, she actually took a stand and that is the real reason all of you bitch and moan, because this strong wonderful woman didn’t just take it.

She is not a victim, no. And the reason she isn’t a victim is because she doesn’t allow herself to be one.

Taylor showed strength and courage and she took back an insult that she didn’t deserve to have issued onto her. Don’t blame her because you can’t stand the heat, get the fuck out of the kitchen.
