what people don’t understand about how adhd is disabling is that it’s not just getting temporarily distracted from, like, school work or hobbies. it’s getting distracted/being unable to motivate yourself to go to the doctor, eat regularly, do hygiene tasks, etc. it’s not knowing when or how long it will take you to do something, ANYTHING, and in many cases that thing is taking a shower or keeping your house from turning into a biohazard. it’s about being fundamentally incapable of controlling your attention and focus on anything, even and especially things you need to do to survive.

people are sleeping on this to an insane degree. not only did he tussle with the knight but he did it WITH NO WEAPON. not even in his omega form. bro defended against the knights sword with sheer willpower thats fucking insane

also i think this is foreshadowing. considering that shadow crystals are described as "lost dreams", and the way he was able to fight the knight to such a degree was because of "a flowers dream" i definitely think that strengthens the connection between the knight and the shadow crystals (i doubt theyll be the key to defeating the knight, but maybe?)

something i think is overlooked is Noelle gets over her fear of mice in the normal route

i know. sounds silly. what does it matter if shes scared of mice or not?

but i think thats the most direct way of showing that the weird route is not the only way for Noelle to "change" or "get stronger". she changes her feelings about mice. she becomes more courageous and can deal with things she was terrified of before. all without being abused or assaulted or tossed around. all while still being her own person who isnt forced to be reliant on someone else

the weird route is not and will never be the "good ending" for Noelle (and frankly i think its very upsetting that people say that considering its connections to abuse and suicidal ideation). she always had the capability to change and be strong, and all she needs is support to face and overcome her fears. in fact the weird route is even worse for her because it reinforces her belief that she is nothing by herself and she must be reliant on others

this is gonna be nerdy but i feel like that one newsletter sprite of Berdly fanning Noelle and messing up her book is a very good representation of their dynamic. like Berdly doesnt (intentionally) look down on Noelle or treat her poorly, he genuinely likes her and cares about her as her friend, but he is also very stupid and does make many mistakes

the thing is I would be okay with being viewed as sexually attractive while topless. like a shirtless cis man can be a considered a hunk beefcake eye candy etc but it's not by nature r-rated. usamerican society at large is able to understand that toplessness can be sexually appealing but is not in itself a sexual act when a man does it. if I could be just casually topless on a hot day or something without the little flashing light over my head saying think of the CHILDREN I would be getting minoan with it
