I’ve been thinking about this exchange:
“She’s not like her father.”
“No, she’s much prettier.”
And I realized that Sansa is saying, in a very subtle way, that the only difference between the Mad King and Daenerys is that she’s a beautiful young woman.
Sansa has been blinded by beauty and youth before: Joffrey, Loras, even Margaery.
But she’s learned from her mistakes. And the old Sansa would have been star-struck with Daenerys: a young, beautiful and powerful queen. But she knows better now, and when she asks Jon:
“Did you bent the knee to protect the North or because you love her?”
I think she’s worried about Jon making the same mistakes she did. I want to believe in pol!Jon, but if he really is playing the game, he’s doing a great job at it and hiding it even from the Starks. Sansa is seen history repeating itself, just like Jaime did when he faced Daenerys and her dragon in battle.
