I searched Shelter and Poses and thyla.com but couldn't find anything! Does anyone have any info on these?

Shelter and poses are just really early examples of slash fics! Shelter was published in 1976 and poses was its sequel. I honestly forgot why i included these in particular and not other early fics 😭 (if anyone knows of any significance i forgot about please lmk!!)

And thyla.com was some website my friends found, more of an inside joke than anything. But it was a super funny archive of ~interesting~ fanart and fanfic. If I remember correctly the ip is now expired. I think you can still see some of it on the wayback machine tho?? Maybe sometime ill post some of my personal favorites.

I made this 4 years ago it's definitely not the best haha.

just saying... t'hy'la is not meant to be vague. it is not only brother OR friend OR lover. it would be very illogical if the vulcan language had such a glaring lexical gap; if their only word for "friend" could be misconstrued so drastically.

no, spock thought of kirk as his "t'hy'la" for a reason. it was a precise word choice. if he meant only one of the definitions, he would have said just that. the multiple meanings are a feature, not a bug; the word represents their multifaceted connection that goes beyond simple friendship or romantic passion. it is brother AND friend AND lover and many other things too. just sayin
