Ohmygodohmygodohmygod.

This is, without a doubt, one of the best things that's ever happened to me.

This is phenomenal, exceptional, beyond exciting. I was trying not to cry at an important function when I first got the notification. In fact, I was arguably more excited about this than the fact that I was being honored at said function.

I am blown away both by @jaguardorado16 's incredible talent and their ability to just make my story come ALIVE like this. And also the incredible generosity and passion of @aural4444 for being so willing to sponsor this incredible masterpiece this way.

I'm shaking, I'm crying, I'm analyzing every panel, finding new things to love about it, and just reading it over and over again like I didn't write the dialogue myself. This is SO BEYOND incredible, I don't know what to do with myself.

I already have my next couple of chapters of MLYR blocked out, I've bought the dvd release of the movie and watched it every night because I'm obsessed with this stupid franchise, I listen to the soundtrack constantly. But I am SO SO beyond ready to keep this story going because it feels even more real to me now than it did before.

Thank you thank you thank you thank you, this is incredible! So much talent in this one artist... I'm blown away.

There’s a fic on fanfiction(.)net that I’ve kept tabs on for years to see if it’s been updated or not. While I’m no longer even in the fandom it’s written for, it just has one of the greatest storylines I’ve ever read. Last time it was updated was 2011.

The other day, I decided to reread the entire thing and leave a very in-depth review of what I thought of each chapter. I also mentioned how I started reading it when I was 13 and am now 21, but always came back to see if it was ever finished because I loved it so dearly.

Today, said author sent me a private message saying that her analytics showed that the story was still getting views even after all these years, but no one ever bothered to leave reviews other than “update soon!!!”, so she never felt motivated enough to finish it. She said that me reviewing every single chapter with lengthy paragraphs made her cry and meant the world to her. She also mentioned that she felt encouraged to write the two remaining chapters needed to complete the story and that she would send me a message the night before she updates the fic.

I’m literally sobbing. I’m so excited :’)

Please always remember to leave a review when reading fanfiction!!! It means a lot to a writer.

For as long as she and Bruce had been married, they discovered that Brandy sometimes forgot their extreme size difference.  Or maybe Bruce was so used to it at that point that he'd set down his own sense of caution.  He was dodging her long arms and careless placement of sharp utensils with ease, working around her without ease.  They made a good team, even amidst the fight.

“Not that you have much of a choice, that is,” She added, and she sounded so sly about it that Branch and JD had to exchange a quick glance.  It was impossible she could have predicted how incredibly wild and busy the cantina would be at this point…  Wasn’t it?

“Brandy, I know we made a deal and I plan to honor it. It's just that this is a really, really terrible time babe.  Heads down!"  He called, and all four brothers ducked just in time as Brandy turned around with a tray in hand, nearly beheading the lot of them.  She chortled, muttered an apology, and passed the tray to a waiting server over their heads.

"This has been scheduled for months, Bruce," she reminded him lightly as she gently took the next order from his hands and squinted down at it.

"Yeah, but, y'know, life and death circumstances aren't always planned," Bruce argued as he jumped between the back of the bar and back again holding a bottle in his hair.  He poured a few large glasses and tossed the now-empty bottle with a flourish into the trash can.  It shattered, and all of the brother's flinched.  Or maybe it was the words that caused the flinching?

"And who can say if there will be more a week from now?  I mean, obviously I hope not, and there probably won't be," Brandy tutted, and she shot an apologetic look over her shoulder at Floyd.  All that Floyd could offer in response was a weak half smile and a 'what can you do' shrug.  Bruce blew out a hefty sigh, pausing to wipe his hands on a cleaning rag before he started mixing a new drink- this time a troll sized one.
