The first sex scene I've written in my current WIP is a trans man getting sucked. #transpride
Can Youtube stop giving me ads for an AI slop 'writing' program? I actually write my shit thank you very much.
Thinking about that novel that was pulled from trad pub for alleged AI use and seeing the excerpts for myself makes me upset people defend it even now despite the author confirming that AI was used because even if it wasn't, it would've been torn to shreds in a writing workshop class.
Objectively, it is a bad book. It's disjointed, the plotholes are so deep that it takes you out, the characters are so one dimensional they feel less like characters and more like caricatures, and don't get me started on the fake 'female rage' message. Shy Girl was just a story about a woman being horrifically abused and brutalized.
hehehehehehehheheheh
I love pirate/sea creature media
Avery told Emery everything. He even showed him the recording he had of that night. He sped up the section where he was in the church. They didnât have 15 hours to go through each frame of footage. Emery kept his face neutral for the most part, interjecting with either questions or the occasional âOh my godâ or variations of that in response to things that seemed to shock him. Avery explained things the best he could, but he couldnât explain the last two hours of blank screen and white noise audio.
âHoly shit.â Emery stared at the blacked-out screen in front of them. âIâŚI wouldâve believed you without this footage, butâŚfuck.â
âThis is all I have.â Avery sighed. âAnd I donât remember anything beyond when the footage blacks out. Not clearly anyways.â He remembered the last couple of minutes, and Derekâs letter to him.
He moved to shut the laptop, but Emery grabbed his wrist.
âWait.â Emeryâs hands moved to the trackpad and moved the little bar at the bottom of the screen. âThis random string of keyboard vomit feels intentional.â He pointed to the string of characters Derek left. Avery had no idea what it was. âCan I try something?â
âSure.â
Emery copied down each letter and number exactly, into his notes app. âIt kinda looks like part of a URL.â He looked back at the screen for a second before tapping his phone a couple of times. His eyes widened before slowly handing his phone to Avery.
ââŚWhat the hell is The D.M.S.?â

concept: The DMS has Derek, but instead of experimenting on him they just put his ass in the IT department or something.
Like they're still holding him hostage essentially, but all they have him doing is updating software or whatever IT does. (i don't know I'm not tech savvy)
guess who put this concept in their fic? This guy!
read it here!
Newest obsession: Listening to Type O Negative as I write
I don't like to DNF books but this one book I've been reading over the course of this week really isn't doing it for me.
I was really excited to read this book because it was a queer (sapphic) kink/erotic horror adaptation of The King in Yellow and it takes place in Queens, NYC (I live in NYC). Also the plot was really interesting when I read it. But it's just... boring me.
I want to finish it, but I don't know if I can't.
So i ended up DNFing the book, much to my own disappointment. It really boiled down to that I just wasn't vibing with it and the last time I powered through to finish a book (by an author whose other works I ADORE, mind you) I was left disappointed, so I just decided DNFing was the better thing to do.
On the plus side, I have two friends of mine that are interested in reading it!

The elevator dinged as the door opened. Avery opened his eyes, confused. He shouldnât be at his floor yet. His breath caught in his throat at the sight in front of him.
The gates.
Clear as day.
Avery took a step closer to it, hand on the elevator door. He ignored how sticky it felt. He had to with what his mind was to process the sight in front of him.
This shouldnât be real.
Everything was silent. The annoying hum of the fluorescent lights was gone, the mechanical whirring of the pulley system seemed to halt. The only noise was the sound of Averyâs heartbeat. Too loud, too frantic.
This canât be real.
Yet the stickiness between his fingers and the cold chill hitting his face as the gates opened was all so very real.
The gates were opening.
Oh god they were opening.
Chapter 4 is out!
