People thought the replica María Félix piece was cool so I thought I'd share (most of) the rest of my vintage reptile collection. I say most bc I have this really cool lizard brooch that's kind of a play on the three hares motif that I left on a vest that's in storage. Some highlights: that turtle can hold solid perfume, the lowest right crocodile is on an amber cabochon, and that very dark alligator in the middle is completely articulated- he wiggles!

With two exceptions (the bottom gold alligator and the turtle, which were gifts), these are all things I found myself- mostly in antique stores around Chicago, but the snake with a pearl I actually found at a market stall in Bologna! I'm not super picky about metal or rhinestones; mostly my collecting is centered on "is it cute." I also try to avoid duplicates, unless they come together as a set and are meant to be collar pins.
