Description of dream under the cut

In this dream, I watched a lady die. She was drowned in the sea. But soon after she took her final breath, carnivorous fish swarmed her and ate her lower half. The swarm became her tail, creating the mermaid. The woman was still dead, I knew this to be true in the dream. And yet, she still sang. Her siren song pierced the ocean waters; many other, bigger fish entranced by her song came to her aid. They started to dance around her, creating a deadly whirlpool.

In this dream, the world was in flames. People were burning and boiling from the inside out, the heat charring their skin black as the red hot light illuminated them from the inside. Yet, among the carnage and chaos, a simple calico cat stood tall. He helped me navigate through the world to safety.

In this dream, I found a ginormous alien woman. She was tall, taller than the clouds and stood in a lake of ethereal liquid. She was nude simply because nudity was not shameful where she came from. She had a hairy bush, star nipples and a curvy body (I don’t think I did her justice). She was beautiful, not sexy or hot. She had a little robot follow me around, the robot allowing her to see me in as much detail as I could see her. Most of the dream, the two of us spent singing together.

Sketches from a Dream is a new series where I sketch an interesting character from one of my dreams!

In this dream, I was a black sheep in a very big and wealthy family. At a reunion dinner, the Grandmama announced that whoever won her scavenger hunt was to inherit her fortune. One of these objects was her ring, which she entrusted to the butler. At this dinner, the butler secretly dropped the ring in front of me. I left the party soon after, ruining the grandmama’s game and thanking the kind butler for his gift on the way out,

A couple of concept sketches for How the Belle Tolls. It’s a murder mystery project that’s been rattling around in my brain for months (thanks a lot Cosmo Sheldrake). Now I’m finally trying to make it real! I just need this out of my head and the only way that’s gonna happen is if I make it real.

Basic synopsis:

There’s a mysterious forest that holds a ghost. Our detective, a (yet to be named) kid, is bored and goes searching in the forest looking for a mystery. Luckily enough, they found one: Belle the Ghost. The entire comic is supposed to be the Kid and Belle trying to solve Belle’s death, believing that it will help her pass on. Stick around to see what they find!
