IT'S ALIVE! and in my house

I started work on this big beth about a year ago from today, procrastinated, and then finally got around finishing this month. She's almost 2 ft tall, very heavy, and has poseable arms/hands. A great hugger.

someone asked for progress pics, i didn't document *everything* but here are the bits i have below the readmore :)

^ deflated tentacles

^ here's the original brain. It was eventually scrapped in favor of a lavender color and way less needle-sculpting.

^ a much better brain! + spineless shoulders

^ spines; upper arms getting worked on with a view of the aluminum wire inside; clawless hands and thumbs

extra notes: - all small details (eyes, mouths, pockmarks, etc) aside from the crystal bits are made of felt sheets - there's weighted beads at the bottom of bemeebeth's body to help it stand

but yeah that's all i got :P certainly one of the most ambitious art projects i've ever done, especially since i'm an amateur plushie maker and i've never made anything as big as this, plus this was my first time working with minky fabric. twas very rewarding and i've learned a lot!
