Daily Pastel Drawing: Day 16

Picked up some seaglass from the beach (Walton on the Naze/Essex)….where-did it come from? What was it before? Fragments of an object and a journey. Washed up on the shore - waiting to be found - reused and recurated into another story.

Whilst at the Essex Wildlife Trust centre I saw this leaflet about seagrass - I know nothing about it so will look into it. Is there a relationship between the 2 that I can uncover .

I like the idea of untold stories…the unseen, unheard….the multiverse of an object and an object of ecology.

Day 3: Build your Creative Voice Challenge - Pick an emotiona & work with that.

I picked the emotion Joy and started to think about what would make me feel really joyful - I found this old sheet of colour swatches which Id been meaning to cut circles out of 'just because' and because it would bring joy - just to be playful!! This challenge gave me the fuel to do it and then started playing with the circles which I felt to just place randomly on the grass - almost looks like a sculpture and could translate into a public sculpture of some sort!
