She’d never met adriel in heaven, but she knew of the principality and his forbidden demon love long before he’d sacrificed his wings for humanity. cupid also knew Father wouldn’t agree with her encouraging said love, but then again, Father was nowhere to be found these days so what did it matter? she believed in this love. she’d watched it blossom from a distance over the last 6,000 years. how could something so beautiful be wrong? she made her way into adriel’s bookshop with a bouquet of flowers from her shop. “hello?” she called out. “adriel? i’ve got a delivery.”
Adriel had decided to spend a quiet day in the shop, getting comfortable with everything on Earth again. There were so many things he had missed. Tea in the morning. A spot of hot chocolate in the evening. His books. The Angel felt safe here, surrounded by all the things he loved...well, almost all of them. Gadreel wasn’t here yet, and as Adriel checked his pocket watch, taking a sip of his tea at the same time, he wondered where he was exactly. That’s when he heard the familiar chime of the door bell, letting out a soft sigh. He walked out to the front, seeing the woman there, “Oh, hello dear.” he looked at the flowers, then back up at her. “A delivery you say?”
